횡자속의 기본원리는 릴럭턴스 전동기와 같다. 발생한 힘밀도는 공극과 극간격에 반비례하고 기자력의 자성에 비례한다. 이러한 횡자속 선형전동기를 적용할 경우 추력의 변화로 인해서 진동과 힘의 불평형이 발생하는 것이 일반적이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 추력 불평형과 진동특성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법이 다상형으로 구동하는 방법이 있으며 힘을 균일하게 할 수 있고 전동기의 체적을 줄이고 진동특성을 저감시킬 수 있다는 것이라고 판단된다.

In rocent years there has been a great demand of developing engines of high performance, low fuel consumption. and low pollutant emission. To optimize engine operation, electronic control system has been developed to control spark timing, fuel injection timing, and injection duration. Consequently many automobile companies have changed fuel supply system of spark-ignition engines from traditional carburetor type to fuel injection type.<br/> In this study the change of engine performance and combustion stability in a 3-cylinder spark ignition engine was studied when carburetor was replaced with eletronic fuel injection system. Electronic fuel injection system and its accessory parts for experiment engine were developed and replaced with carburetor. And air-fuel ratio was controlled at stoichiometric(A/F=14.6).<br/> A 3-cylinder spark ignition engine was used in our experiment, engine performance and cylinder pressure were measured at various engine speed and throttle position. Combustion stability calculated from cylinder pressure and engine perfonnance data were analyzed and compared between carburetor type and electronic fuel injection type.<br/> On part load condition, fuel consumption of eletronic fuel injection type was improved in comparison with carburetor type. And cycle-by-cycle variation in IMEP was reduced by combustion stability increase. On wide open condition, engine torque and power were enhanced and fuel consumption was improved in comparison with carburetor type.<br/>

This paper present the fundamental insulation characteristics of Dry Air gas and insulation coating in high voltage power apparatus. It is known that the dielectric strength of Dry Air is approximately one-third that of SF6 gas. we attempt that the insulation coating and dry air gas have replaced the SF6 gas as insulation of the switchgear. We proposed the dry air insulated switchgear(DAIS) for High Voltage apparatus. To acquire technology of insulation characteristic improvement made standards for complex insulation structure and conducted simulations and experiments

Thrust force of linear motor is one of the important factor to specify motor performance. In this study, we optimized maximizing the thrust force and minimizing the detent force of TFLM(Transverse Flux Linear Motor) using Response Surface Methodology by the table of orthogonal array. The Response Surface Methodology was well adapted to make the analytical model of the maximum thrust force and enable the objective function to be easily created and a great deal of the time in computation to be saved. Therefore, it is expected that the proposed optimization procedure using the Response Surface Methodology can be easily utilized to solve the optimization problem of electric machine.
