The solar vehicle is in the spotlight in the eco-friendly aspect of photovoltaic system using unlimited solar energy. The solar vehicle uses energy of photovoltaic and battery. The solar vehicle uses stored energy in battery when photovoltaic power is lower than consumption power by solar vehicle and if photovoltaic power is higher than consumption power by solar vehicle then photovoltaic power is stored to battery. To improve use efficiency of photovoltaic, the researches about MPPT method to operate maximum power point and interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM)drive system using photovoltaic is necessary. This paper proposes MPPT control algorithm for solar vehicle using new fuzzy control(NFC). In this paper, to reduce switching loss, the DC-DC converter is omitted. The NFC controller can be use instead of PO. The NFC controller is performed MPPT control using solar cell voltage and q -axis current of IPMSM. The output of NFC is command q -axis current of IPMSM and this current is operated IPMSM. The response characteristics of algorithm proposed in this paper is compared response characteristics of conventional PO method by PSIM program and validity of this paper prove using this result.

This paper proposes maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control algorithm of PV system using a novel method. The proposed hybrid method is composed perturb and observe (PO) method and constant voltage(CV) method. PO method is simple to realize and CV method is possible to tracking MPP with low insolation. Response characteristics of proposed algorithm is compared to conventional PO method with insolation variation. This paper proves the validity of proposed algorithm through the analysis result.

This paper analyzes a operating characteristics for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of photovoltaic generation system. MPPT algorithm is widely used the control method such as the perturbation and observation (PO) method, incremental conductance(IC) method and constant voltage(CV) method. In case of the radiation is changed, this paper proposes a response characteristics with MPPT control algorithms. Also, it proposes the direct for a novel MPPT control algorithm development through the analyzed data and proves the effectiveness of this paper.

This paper proposes an improved tracking algorithm for photovoltaic(PV) system using sensor method. PV system of sensor method is exactly impossible to track a sun position when insolation is low or rapidly changed by the clouds and fogs. Also, in this case, tracking device is occurred energy consumption by unnecessary operating. This statement of reason, real power of PV system is not increased than fixed PV system in specified location. Therefore, this paper proposes improved tracking algorithm considered insolation for efficiency improvement of PV system using sensor method. And this paper analyzes the generation volume and proves the validity of proposed algorithm as compared with the conventional PV tracking system using sensor method.

This paper proposed design and development the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control of a photo voltaic (PV) array for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM)drive. Conventional MPPT controller was unstable by reason of the ripple-current of DC link in three phase inverter. Thus in this paper the control algorithm of IPMSM using i<SUB>q</SUB> current is composed to improve the insecurity of conventional MPPT controller. Proposed algorithm is operated by simulation with variation radiation condition. And analyze the response characteristic of IPMSM. The validity of this paper is proved by analyzed data.

This paper is proposed artificial neural network(ANN) rotor resistance estimation of induction motor drive controlled by multi-adaptive fuzzy learning controller(AFLC). A simple double layer feedforward ANN trained by the back-propagation technique is employed in the rotor resistance identification. In this estimator, double models of the state variable estimations are used; one provides the actual induction motor output states and the other gives the ANN model output states. The total error between the desired and actual state variables is then back propagated to adjust the weights of the ANN model, so that the output of this model tracks the actual output. When the training is completed, the weights of the ANN correspond to the parameters in the actual motor. The estimation and control performance of ANN and multi-AFLC is evaluated by analysis for various operating conditions. Also, this paper is proposed the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of this controller.
