The aim of this study was to evaluate effects of the balance ability on the heel height (flat, low heel[3cm], and high heel[7cm]) and high heeled habituation (group A is used to a low heeled shoes (<7cm) and group B is used to a high heeled shoes (${\geq}7cm$). Thirty-five subjects participated in this study. In this study, the static balance with opened eyes and closed eyes and dynamic balance were measured. Also functional reach test was tested. The results found that the static balance ability was the best in a 7cm heeled shoes with open eyes and closed eyes, but there was not significant difference between group A and Group B. Dynamic balance ability with walking velocity and cadence were significant difference between Group A and B. In the walking velocity, a flat was the fastest, followed by 7cm heel and 3cm heel with Group A while 3cm and 7cm, then a flat with Group B. Also Cadence pattern was similar. Functional balance ability was the highest with a flat, but it was not difference significantly between Group A and B. Therefore, this study demonstrated that the habituation to the high heel altered gait velocity and cadence of dynamic balance ability.
신발굽 높이와 Wedge 위치 변화가 하지 근활성도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 30명의 여성에게 내·외측 wedge 삽입과 함께 flated heel 또는 5㎝ heel을 착용하도록 한 후, 넙다리네갈래근 중 쪽빗넓은근(VMO)과 가쪽넓은근(VL)의 근활성도를 측정하여 비교하였다. 연구 결과 내외측 wedge 모두에서 flated heel 군에서는 가쪽넓은근이, 5 ㎝ heel 군에서는 안쪽빗넓은근의 근활성도가 높게 나타났으며 가쪽넓은근에 대한 안쪽빗넓은근의 근활성도비(% VMO/VL) 또한 5㎝ heel 군에서 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 이는 안쪽빗넓은근과 가쪽넓은근의 근활성도에 영향을 미치는 외적 변수가 wedge의 내외측 위치보다는 힐의 높이에 의함을 알 수 있었다. 차후 무릎통증이나 무릎 불안정성으로 인한 하지 재활훈련 또는 하지보조기 제작 시에 하지 근육의 선택적 활성화를 유도하기 위한 변수로써 heel 높이를 고려할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of the electromyographic activity in vastus medialis oblique (VMO) and vastus lateralis (VL), also vastus medialis oblique/vastus lateralis ratios after wearing wedged flated or 5㎝ heel shoes. The subjects were 30 healthy women who randomly assigned to two group, divided by flated or 5㎝ heel group. They were asked to perform squat exercise in two postures using medial and lateral wedged shoes. In two groups, EMG activity of VMO and VL was significant difference between the flated heel and 5㎝ heel (p<.01). This study showed that 5㎝ heel could selectively more active VMO than flated heel. It should be considered the heel height as the parameter when the patient with lower extremity problem undergo rehabilitation exercise or design of orthoses for the selective muscle activity of knee pain or knee instability.

본 연구는 복부 동시수축 형태에 따라 하지의 근활성도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상자는 허리와 하지에 통증이 없고, 근골격계에 이상이 없는 건강한 20대 여성 30명을 대상으로 진행하였다 복부 이완(Rest), 복부 당기기 기법(ADIM), 복부 브레이싱 기법(ASLR)로 약 10초간 유지하도록 하여 하지의 5개 근육(중간볼기근, 엉덩긴모음근, 넙다리곧은근, 넙다리두갈래근, 앞정강근)의 근활성도를 측정하엿다. 연구결과, Rest에서 ASLR을 유지하였을 때 보다 ADIM 수축형태로 ASLR 유지할 때 하지의 모든 근육에서 근활성도가 높게 나타났다. 또한 Rest에서 ASLR을 유지하였을 때보다 ABM 수축형태로 ASLR을 유지하였을 때 중간볼기근을 제외한 나머지 근육에서 모두 근활성도가 높게 나타났다. ADIM과 ABM을 비교한 결과 중간볼기근과 앞정강근은 ADIM 수축형태에서, 엉덩긴모음근, 넙다리곧은근, 넙다리두갈래근은 ABM 수축형태에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 근활성도가 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과로 체간중심 안정화 운동이 필요한 요통 환자의 선제적 복부 수축형태로서 뿐만 아니라 하지의 선택적 근력강화가 필요한 환자들에게 개별화된 방법으로써 근거를 제시할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to investigated the muscle activity difference of lower extremity by abdominal co-contractive activation. 30 healthy women without pain in the low back and lower extremity were conducted. Muscle activities of lower extremity were measured with the active straight leg raise (ASLR) in 20cm raised from the floor without bending the knee at rest, abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM) and abdominal bracing maneuver (ABM), respectively. Hip adductor longus (HadL), rectus femoris (RF), and biceps femoris (BF) muscle activity in the Abdominal bracing maneuver were statistically significantly higher, also gluteus medius (Gmed) and tibialis anterior (TA) muscle activity in the ADIM were higher. We provide the evidence to the positive effects of individual abdominal co-contractive activation training which can enhance postural stability and lower extremity strengthening with volitional preemptive abdominal contraction.

Activities of two single neuronal units recorded from either hippocampus or prefrontal cortex of SD rats were used in real time to control two-dimensional movements of a robot, or a game object.
