        셰익스피어의 극 언어, 어떻게 한국화 할 것인가?

        Shakespearean characters would say “hear a play” instead of “see a play.” Hearing is as important as seeing in Shakespearean plays. It is, of course, because Shakespeare’s language, represented by blank verses, couplets, sharing lines, and puns, plays essential parts in his plays. Incidentally, when Shakespearean plays are translated or performed in Korean, those poetic and dramatic qualities of Shakespearean language are usually ignored. As the linguistic structures and the poetic systems of Korean language are quite different from those of English, most of Korean Shakespeare translations and stage productions have used simple prose translations without such poetic and dramatic qualities so far. However, some Shakespearean scholars including Choi Jong-cheol and myself have tried to do poetic translations. Especially some Shakespearean productions such as Oh Tae-suk’s Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and The Tempest, Park Sung-hwan’s Changgeuk Romeo and Juliet, Park Sun-hee’s Pansori Hamlet Project have used Korean poetic language, and shown how Korean poetic rhythms can alternate Shakespearean poetic language.

        실내 건축자재 및 생활 가공제품 중 천연방사성핵종(<sup>238</sup>U, <sup>232</sup>Th)의 농도 평가를 위한 분석법 연구

        국내에서는 많은 수의 친환경 및 건강 증진을 목적으로 하는 기능성 생활제품이 생산되고 있으며 이러한 제품 제조 시 원료물질에 존재하는 모나자이트, 토르말린 등 방사능 농도가 높은 물질이 가공제품 내에 함께 유입 될 수 있어 원료물질과 함께 국민 생활과 밀접한 가공제품의 관리가 필수적이다. 이를 위해서 정확한 방사능 농도 분석 자료 및 유효성이 검증된 분석방법의 이용 및 개발이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 천연방사성 물질의 신속 스크리닝을 위한 ED-XRF 분석법과 정밀분석의 목적으로 ICP-MS를 이용하여 실내 건축자재 및 생활제품 내의 천연방사성핵종($^{238}U$, $^{232}Th$)의 농도를 정량분석하고 비교 및 평가하였다. 타일, 시멘트, 페인트, 벽지, 석고보드 등 총 47 종의 실내 건축자재와 건강제품, 섬유제품, 광물질 등 총 47 종의 생활 가공제품의 실제시료를 분석한 결과, ED-XRF 및 ICP-MS의 결과값은 전체적으로 1:1의 선형성을 보였으며 ED-XRF를 이용한 신속 스크리닝의 적용성과 ICP-MS를 이용한 정량분석법의 유효성을 확인하였다. 한편, 가공제품 중의 $^{238}U$, $^{232}Th$ 방사능 농도는 생활제품에 비해서 건축자재에서 상대적으로 매우 낮은 수준이었으며 특히 생활제품은 47 개 중 6 개의 제품이 원료물질의 관리기준치($1.0Bq{\cdot}g^{-1}$)를 초과(최대 $8.2Bq{\cdot}g^{-1}$)하는 것으로 평가되었다. A large number of functional living products are being produced for eco-friendly or health-promoting purposes. In the manufacturing process, such products could be adulterated with raw materials with high radioactivity, such as monazite and tourmaline. Thus, it is essential to manage raw materials and products closely related to the public living. For proper management, an accurate radioactivity data of the processed products are needed. Therefore, it is essential to develop a rapid and validated analytical method. In this study, the concentration of the radioactive $^{238}U$ and $^{232}Th$ in building materials (e.g., tile, cement, paint, wall paper, and gypsum board) and living products (e.g., health products, textiles, and minerals) were determined and compared by ED-XRF and ICP-MS. By comparing the results of both methods, we confirmed the applicability of the rapid screening and precise analysis of ED-XRF and ICP-MS. In addition, $^{238}U$ and $^{232}Th$ levels were relatively lower in building materials than in living products. Particularly, $^{232}Th$ content in 6 of 47 living products exceeded (maximum $8.2Bq{\cdot}g^{-1}$) the standard limit of $^{232}Th$ content in raw material ($1.0Bq{\cdot}g^{-1}$).

        가미대황고(加味大黃膏)의 멜라닌세포 활성억제가 자외선 조사로 인한 피부 손상 완화에 미치는 영향

        Objective : As a result of increasing amount of ultraviolet ray, skin problems including sunburn, rapid skin aging, melanoma, and even skin cancer continue to rise. In the present study, the effect of oriental herbal extract, Daehwanggo(大黃膏,DH) and Daehwanggogasnagbakpi(大黃膏加桑白皮,DS), as external application, on the skin damage, was investigated. Methods : 30 mice were equally distributed into 3 groups : control, UVB-control and UVB-irradiated and DS-treated group. Also mouse melanoma cell lines were cultured. Tyrosinase inhibition was measured to analyze the UN-protection effect. Melanogenesis in the UV-irradiated melanoma cell lines was compared in DS-treated cell line and control cell line. Sample skin from the ear tissue of the 3 groups were analyzed to observe the inflammatory response, T cell differentiation, apoptosis of keratinocytes. Results : The tyrosinase was more significantly inhibited in the DS group compared to DH group. Antioxidative effects was more prominent in DS group when superoxide dismutase was measured. Both the DS- and DH-treated cell lines showed significantly reduced melanogenesis. The reduction of external skin damage including erythematous papule, eczema, keratinocyte, pyopoiesis was observed in the DS- and DH-treated sample cells. In terms of the effect on the skin damage, sunburn cell, activated skin mast cells, secretion of IL-12, manifestation of HSP70, hyperplasia of epithelial cells, MMP-9 and destruction of the collagen were all significantly improved in the DS-treated sample cells. Melanin cells and the apoptosis in the melanoma cell line were decreased. Conclusion : DH and DS were traditionally applied externally for the scald in the oriental medicine. The present study elucidated the possibility of herbal extracts to be used as ultraviolet protectives. Further investigations are needed to assure the clinical application.

      • 초점 - 국내 전 원전 스트레스 테스트 추진 의의와 방향 및 기본 계획

        원자력안전위원회는 9월 24일 제45차 회의에서 월성 원전 1호기와 고리 원전 1호기를 대상으로 추진해온 스트레스 테스트를 마무리하고 국내 가동 중인 전체 원전으로 확대하여 극한 자연 재해에 대한 원전의 안전성을 확인하기 위한 "가동 원전 스트레스 테스트 추진 계획"을 확정하였다. 최근 7월 24일 상업 운전을 시작한 신월성 원전 2호기까지 포함하여 원자로 기준으로 총 22개 원전이 내년부터 시작될 스트레스 테스트의 대상이 된다.

        고강도 알루미늄에서의 균열닫힘이 미소 피로균열의 전파거동에 미치는 영향

        The fatigue crack growth behavior of physically-short cracks(0.2<a<2mm) and long cracks (2<a<25mm) under constant amplitude loading was investigated with SEN type specimens using aluminum 7075-T6 material with stress ratio, R, of 0.05, -1 and 0.5 at room temperature. The crack closure effect on fatigue crack growth was also investigated. It was found that the physically-short cracks grew much faster than long cracks based on applied ${\Delta}K$ with $da/dN<1{\times}10^{-7}m/cycle$. The transition crack lengths where similtude with ${\Delta}K$ existed was between 1 and 2mm. The effective stress intensity factor range based on COD measurements gave better correlation between the physically-short and long cracks. Thus it can be considered that the crack closure effect is one of the main factors which causes the differences between these two cracks.

        When performing the inferior alveolar nerve block anesthesia, surgeon often faced a difficulty of the surgical operation due to the incomplete anesthesia. One of the reason is the variety of mandibular canal anatomy. Up to now, there are some reports of index cases about bifid mandibular canal among mandibular canal anatomic variation, and some classification is applied according to anatomical location and configuration. When surgical operation is performed involving mandible such as dantal implant treatment, extraction of an impacted third molar, sagittal split ramus osteotomy, etc, the position of mandibular canal should be considered. Bifid mandibular canal clinically causes troublesome cases of anesthesia when inferior alvelor nerve block, especially is performed extraction of an impacted third molar. Therefore, It is important for clinicians to recognize the presence of bifid canals on radiographys. Nowadays, the position of mandibular canal can be measured precisely by using Dental CT. It is not found by panorama image but is found by Dental CT sometimes. Among the patients, which take panorama and Dental CT simultaneously, for tooth extraction of lower impacted third molar in our department, we report the case that did not identifying in panorama but identifying it in Dental CT.

        生血潤膚飮加味方이 아토피 피부염을 유발한 동물모델의 각질층 기능회복에 미치는 영향

        Introduction and Objectives : Applying the saingheylyunbooemgami(SY) extract on to the atopic dermatitis(AD) is to study change of external dermal formation, change of leukocytes in vasculature, change of lipid formation in stratum corneum and distribution of ceramide and this study is done through forcing injury to rat's back skin which are lipid protect formation in stratum corneum. Materials and Methods : The AD which caused intentionally using the external application on the rat's back skin was used the SY. The change of leukocytes in vasculature has been identified through optima 5.2 and student t-test and the results were made into dermal foramtion graph. Results : After dispensing SY extract into the AD, the dermal injury was decreased, Especially, recover of lipid protection formation which include lipid and ceramide in stratum corneum is suppressing acute inflammation that some factors are PKC, TNF-${\alpha}$, lL-12B which controled the secretion of relating inflammatory cytokine, also went onto decrease of angiogenesis, and the decrese of degranulated mast cell. In addition, the decrease of epithelial injury also caused the growth of cell to decrease in stratum basale and cytoclasis. In the vasculature. the leukocytes were also decreased and it could relate to decrease AD. Conclusions : Thus. SY has effect on AD suppressing the dermal injury through recovering of lipid protection formation in stratum corneum.

        고속 공중 무선랜 시스템을 위한 효율적인 연결 요청 제어방법의 성능분석

        본 논문은 무선랜 기술을 활용한 초고속 무선인터넷 서비스에서 사용자 단말의 최대 성능을 얻기 위해 효과적으로 AP를 선택하고 연결을 설정하는 방식에 관한 것이다. IEEE 802.11에 기반한 공중 무선랜 환경에서 AP의 탐색과정을 수동형과 능동형으로 분류하고, 본 논문에서는 수동형 AP탐색 과정은 무선랜 접속장치(AP:Access Points) MAC계층에서 단말에 미디어 접근정보를 방송으로 알려주는 비콘(Beacon)프레임을 이용하고, 능동형 AP 탐색과정에서는 AP의 조사응답(Probe Response) 메시지 프레임을 이용하여 무선랜 단말에게 현재 AP에 연결(association)되어 있는 단말 갯수와 처리중인 트래픽량을 알려주는 방식을 제안한다. 단말에서는 RSSI, AP에 연결된 단말의 갯수와 처리하는 트래픽량의 정보를 종합적으로 검토하여 효율면에서 가장 유리한 AP를 선택하여 연결을 설정하면 다수의 사용자가 동시에 사용하는 핫스팟 환경에서도 최대성능을 얻을 수 있으며, 사업자입장에서는 사용자의 분산으로 자원과 망 관리 효율 면에서 상당한 효과가 있음을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다. This paper generally relates to the field of wireless local area networks(WLANs), and more particularly, to AP selection and association methods for the performance of a station. In these days, IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN network is widely deployed and used as an emerging service to connect high-speed Internet in the public wireless environment. But, if there are many users in hot spot area, they suffer a severe decrease of performance. Thus it needs an association and access control mechanism especially when it is used in the public environment. In this paper, we suggest a selection and association method using Beacon or Probe Response frames based IEEE 802.11. Station selects AP using the information of the capacity area in a Beacon or a Probe Response frame. According to the present paper, an association method for a public WLAN service, which includes a WLAN user terminal and an AP for relaying WLAN communications to and from the user terminal, includes the steps of the user terminal asking the AP's states for access to a radio channel; and the station selects and associates with the AP According to the above-described selection in a high speed wireless Internet service based on public WLAN technologies that are currently in operations. Further, it is possible to improve the efficiency of network management.
