Percutaneous/intrathecal chemical neurolysis of sacral nerve with 12% phenol was per- formed on 13 cases of hyperreflexic bladder to augment bladder capacity and to reduce bladder pressure. Urodynamic evaluations were done before and after chemical neurolysis. Mean bladder capacity increased significantly after chemical neurolysis (from l71.4ml to 3l5 ml). No significant changes in bowel or injection sites were noted. The result suggests that the chemolysis of sacral nerve was available modality for hyperreflexic bladder pa- tients, who did not respond to anticholinergic medication, before decide the more aggres- sive alternatives such as augmentation cystoplasty or urinary diversion.

The ECR (Electron Cyclotron Resonance) Ar ion milling was manufactured to fabricate the device of thin film. The ECR ion milling system applied to the device etching operated by a power of 600W, a frequency of 2.45 GHz, and a wavelength of 12.24 cm and transferred by a designed waveguide. In order to match one resonant frequency, a magnetic field of 908 G was applied to a cavity inside of ECR. The Ar gas intruded into a cavity and created the discharged ion beam. The surface of target material was etched by the ion beam having an acceleration voltage of 1000 V. The formed devices with a width of 1 μm~9 μm on the GMR-SV (Giant magnetoresistance-spin valve) multilayer after three major processes such as photo lithography, ion milling, and electrode fabrication were observed by the optical microscope.
백서에서 제 5 , 6 번 요추신경의 결찰에 의하여 유발된 작열통성 통증에 대한 Ketamine의 치료효과

N/A We produced the causalgiform pain by the tight ligation of L5 and L6 spinal nerves in the adult rats. To evalute the effect of ketamine noncompetitive NMDA(N-methyl-D aspartate) antagoinst on the causalgiform pain, we tested the changes of; withdrawal sensitivity to the innocuous mechanical stimulation of Von Frey hair 2.35 g(mechanical allodyniag withdrawal frequency to the cold stimulation of acetone(cold allodynia); and total withdrawal time(second) to the cold(4 ℃) plate stimulation(cold hyperalgesia) after the administration of I mg, 3 mg, 10 mg/kg ketamine. The results were as follows.' 1) Cold hyperalgesia was significantly reduced(p<0.05) by 1 mg, 3 mg, 10 mg/kg ketamine. 2) Cold allodynia and mechanical allodynia was significantly reduced(p<0.05) by l0mg/kg keiamine. Above results suggest a therapeutic utility of ketamine in treatment of causalgia especial- ly, cold hyperalgesia.
