The aim of this paper is to consider the cultural industry and survival process of Broadway within the performing arts. It examines whether it is capable of delivering achievements and attracting peoples to Broadway area. Arts and culture can be economic assets and strategic resources. In recent decades, there have been an increasing emphasis on cultural diversity. I summary about the Broadway production on the basis of artistic, cultural and entertainment content. As a result, Broadway has a high-valued culture assets and made economic growth and prosperity. I conclude with a description of how Broadway industry system might provide self-effort through fierce struggles for existence in all cultural markets through dynamic cultural diversity context.
C57BL/KsJ-db/db 제2형 당뇨병 마우스에서 발아일품벼 추출물의 항당뇨효과

본 연구에서는 제2형 당뇨병 모델인 C57BLKS/J-db/db마우스에서 발아일품벼 추출물의 농도별로 급여한 후 혈당조절에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 조사하였다. C57BLKS/J-db/db 마우스에게 급여한 발아일품벼 추출물의 양에 따라 5군 즉, 정상군(Normal Control: NC), 당뇨대조군(Diabetic Control: DC), 1% 발아벼 추출물 급여군(DM-1% GIRRE), 0.5% 발아벼 추출물 급여군(DM-0.5%GIRRE), 0.25% 발아벼 추출물 급여군(DM-0.25%GIRRE)으로 나누었다. 8주 동안 매일 식이 섭취량과 음료섭취량 및 매주 체중과 공복혈당을 측정하고 마지막 주에 경구포도당 부하검사(OGTT)를 실시하였으며, 부검 시 혈액을 채취하여 혈청인슐린 농도와 당화혈색소를 측정하였다. 그 결과, DM-1% GIRRE군에서 당뇨유발에 의한 체중감소 및 당뇨 증상 중에 다음(poly-dipsia), 다식(polyphasia) 등이 어느 정도 완화되고 있음을 알 수 있다. DM-1%GIRRE군에서 당뇨동물의 공복 혈당, 경구 내당능 검사, 혈중 HbA1c 수준을 유의적으로 낮추었지만, 혈장 인슐린 농도는 당뇨실험군들 간에는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면 발아일품벼 추출물의 급여가 혈당상승을 억제하는 효과가 있는 것으로 생각되며 그 기전에 대해서는 향후 추가 연구가 필요하다고 본다. This study was performed to investigate the effect of germinated Ilpum rough rice extract on blood glucose in C57BL/KsJ-db/db mice. The mice were divided into several groups: normal control (NC), diabetic control (DC), those fed with 0.25% germinated Ilpum rough rice extract (DM-0.25%GIRRE), those fed with 0.5% germinated Ilpum roughrice extract (DM-0.5%GIRRE) and those fed with 1% germinated Ilpum rough rice extract (DM-1%GIRRE). After 8 weeks of treatment, body weight, water intake, and diet intake of the DM-1%GIRRE group were significantly lower than the other DM groups. Blood glucose levels of the DM-1%GIRRE group were significantly lower compared to the DC group. Fasting blood glucose HbA1c level and total glucose tolerance test were significantly lower in the DM-1%GIRRE groups compared to the DC group. There was no significant difference in serum insulin level among each group. Therefore, the results of this study demonstrate that germinated Ilpum rough rice extract alleviates many of the symptoms of diabetes in genetically obese mice and may offer a possibility as a therapeutic supplement for the normalization of blood glucose levels in humans with hyperglycemia. It may also have beneficial effects in patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.

건여주의 다양한 가공식품 개발을 위하여 영양성분 및 생리활성을 분석하였다. 건여주의 영양성분으로 일반성분은 탄수화물 87.20%, 수분 6.10%, 조단백질 3.31%, 조지방 1.08% 및 조회분 2.31%였고 비타민 C 함량은 908.84 mg/100g으로 분석되었다. 무기질 중 칼륨의 함량이 가장 많이 함유되어 있었고 다음으로 Mg, P, Na, Ca, Zn, Cu, Mn 순으로 검출되었다. 가장 많이 함유된 아미노산은 arginine, urea, asparagine, γ-aminobutyric acid, alanine이며, 전체 아미노산에 대한 필수아미노산 함량 비율이 37.86%로 나타났다. 건여주의 생리활성은 70% 에탄올로 추출하여 측정하였다. 총 폴리페놀 및 플라보노이드 함량이 각각 36.08, 15.66 mg GAE/g으로 나타났다. 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl 라디칼 소거능의 IC50은 9.81 mg/mL로 나타났다. This study investigated the nutritional components and antioxidant activity of dry bitter melon(Momordica charantia L.). The moisture, crude protein, crude fat, crude ash, carbohydrate, and ascorbic acid contents of dry bitter melon were 6.10%, 3.31%, 1.08%, 2.31%, 87.20%, and 908.84 mg/100 g, respectively. Potassium was the most abundant mineral, followed by Mg, P, Na, Ca, Zn, Cu, and Mn, which means dry bitter melon was an alkali material. Regarding amino acid contents, dry bitter melon was rich in arginine, urea, asparagine, γ-aminobutyric acid, and alanine. Total polyphenol and total flavonoid contents of dry bitter melon extract were 36.08 mg gallic acid equivalents/extract g and 15.66 mg tannic acid equivalents/extract g, respectively. The IC50 value for 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity was 9.81 mg/mL for dry bitter melon ethanol extracts.
탈식민페미니즘으로 읽는 셰익스피어의 『말괄량이 길들이기』

In recent decades, a number of critics have reflected the critical Elizabethan period in terms of historiography as well as in- depth understanding of Elizabethan culture and patrilineal ideology. In The Taming of the Shrew, Kate, the shrew-figure, were able to establish her vividness in a way impossible for her to resist as a Subaltern over the brutality of early modern powerful patriarchy society. Most of Shakespeare’s society believed that the woman should submit to her husband, and the Elizabethan era was a hard time for woman who has her own voice in which social change. The play leads scholars to believe that it has also been a popular source of various criticism about husband and wife’s access to socio-economic power game. There is a wide spectrum of themes from the highly theoretical to the practical changes in the economy and traditional Elizabethan society revealed in the play. Final speech of Kate on the stage in Act V has been puzzling scholars how to decode Kate’s genuine woman’s place in the Elizabethan patriarchal power structure and culture. I suggest that her attempts is to impose a rhetorical subaltern’s lessons in the reasonableness of gender relations. (Hanbat National University)

The surface roughness of workpiece is reduced during spark-out. The reduction of roughness is a benefit of spark-out, but spark-out lowers productivity. The characteristics of spark-out are different to those of plunge grinding to which feed is applied. This difference is due to overlapping cutting during spark-out. Effect of spark-out is in proportion to volume of grain wear. This phenomenon is due to different overlapping area. Dressing interval can be enlarged by spark-out, when volume of grain wear is large. In this study, the characteristic of spark-out was studied by spark-out obserbation in various grinding conditions. For this purpose thrust force, spark-out time and surface roughness of workpiece were experimentally investigated in various grinding conditions.
