The demand for electric vehicles powered by lithium-ion batteries is continuously increasing. Recovery of valuable metals from waste lithium-ion batteries will be necessary in the future. This research investigated the effect of reaction temperature on the lithium recovery ratio from hydrogen reduction followed by water leaching from lithium-ion battery NCM-based cathode materials. As the reaction temperature increased, the weight loss ratio observed after initiation increased rapidly owing to hydrogen reduction of NiO and CoO; at the same time, the H<sub>2</sub>O amount generated increased. Above 602 ℃, the anode materials Ni and Co were reduced and existed in the metallic phases. As the hydrogen reduction temperature was increased, the Li recovery ratio also increased; at 704 ℃ and above, the Li recovery ratio reached a maximum of approximately 92%. Therefore, it is expected that Li can be selectively recovered by hydrogen reduction as a waste lithium-ion battery pretreatment, and the residue can be reprocessed to efficiently separate and recover valuable metals.

A 1-year-old, male, captive born Burmese Python (Python molurus bivittatus) presented with cloudiness of the left eye after ecdysis. Based on physical examination and history, subspectacular abscess was diagnosed. The causative microorganism was identified as a methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). MRSA is a zoonotic problem of high concern and is a risk in public health and veterinary medicine. To our limited knowledge, this is the first reported case of MRSA infection in snakes.
공과대학생의 그릿-생애목표 군집유형과 성실성 간의 관계

This study examined the relationships among grit, life goal, and conscientiousness of engineering students. In this study, students’ goalswere categorized into either achievement-oriented goals or life-oriented goals for analysis. A cluster analysis was conducted using students’grit and life goals to analyze their psychological characteristics focusing on conscientiousness A sample of 123 engineering collegestudents participated in this study. Results of correlation analysis showed positive correlations among grit, life goals, and conscientiousness. Results of cluster analysis suggested that student could be categorized into three different groups: Low-grit and high-goals (Group 1),high-grit and high-goals (Group 2), and low-grit and low-goals (Group 3). Among those three groups significant group differences werefound in several sub-scales of conscientiousness. Group 1 and 3 showed significant differences in industriousness from Group 2. Group1 showed significant differences in perfectionism from Group 2 and 3. Based on the findings of this study, theoretical and practicalimplications were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to understand the phenomenon of agricultural management transfer and to present a plan to activate Korean management transfer through institutional consideration. To this end, the domestic and overseas agricultural management transfer system was identified, and an appropriate institutional plan for the country was sought. There are six ways to activate the management transfer system proposed in this study. First, establishment of an agricultural management transfer agency, second, training and utilization of management transfer experts, third, establishment of an agricultural succession certification support institution, fourth, operation of specialized training courses for management transfer, fifth, (local government) linked operation of a farming support center, sixth, agricultural management transfer legislation and securing of budgets. The above agricultural management transfer system is expected to contribute to the advancement of management transfer activation.
도시기후변화 재해취약성 분석제도의 폭염분야 지표 개선방향

본 연구는 기존의 폭염재난 취약성 분석 지표가 수립한 문제점을 확인하고 설문조사를 통해 기존 지표를 재정비하여 새로운 지표를 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 공부를 위해. 4가지 범주(기후노출, 도시민감성, 적응성, 일반지표)를 선정하여 설문조사를 통해 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 폭염 일수가 기후노출 항목에서 가장 높은 점수를 받은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 녹지밀도는 도시민감도 항목에서 가장 높은 점수를 받는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역의 국내총생산(GRDP)과 지역의 보건의료시설이 적응성 항목에서 가장 높은 점수를 받은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 그리드가 특히 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 앞선 분석 결과를 바탕으로 보완점은 다음과 같다. 현재 폭염으로 인한 피해를 줄이기 위해서는 스프링클러, 파고라 등 시설을 확충해 적응력을 키워야 한다. 또한 소방대원과 구조대원을 확충하여 열사병과 탈수증 예방에 노력해야 합니다. 또한 각 지방자치단체의 현황을 확인할 수 있는 추가 지표를 반영해야 한다. 한편, 본 연구를 바탕으로 폭염재난 취약성 분석을 강화하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
