This paper was designed to estimate the adhesion strength of galvannealed coatings on steel sheets. The adhesion strength were evaluated using single lap - shear tests where the lap joint was bonded by structural adhesive. Tests were performed for overlap length of 5㎜, 10㎜ and 15 ㎜ and three directions (0, 45, 90) of steel sheets used as the adherend of the overlap joint. After the tests, FE simulations of the single lap - shear test were also carried out to observe the stress distribution in the interface between the adhesive and the coated sheet. The results showed that the joint failure loads obtained from the tensile tests of bonded single lap-joints were the same, regardless of overlap lengths and directions of steel sheets. Also, the failure of galvannealed coatings greatly depended on shear stress distribution in the interface and the value was about 30㎫.

AUTOSAR(AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) is established an open standard for automotive electric/electronic architecture. It will serve as a basic infrastructure for the management of functions within both future applications and standard software modules. The software based on AUTOSAR standard has flexibility, scalability and improved quality. In this paper, we analyze the specifications of AUTOSAR authoring tools and present a development method for the tools.
국내도로 환경을 고려한 ACC 시험평가 방법에 관한 연구

With automobiles sharply increasing worldwide, we are faced with serious social problems such as traffic accidents, traffic jams, environmental pollution, and economic inefficiency. In response, research on ITS is promoted mainly by regions with advanced automotive industry such as the US, Europe, and Japan. While Korea is working to get ahead to take global market through developing and turning into global standards systems related to ASV(Advanced Safety Vehicle), the country is not excellently prepared for such projects. The purpose of ACC is to control the vehicle's longitudinal speed and distance and minimize driver workload. Such a system should be useful in preventing accidents, as it reduces driver workload in the 21st-century world of telematics created by the development of automobile culture industry. In this light, the thesis presents a method to test and evaluate ACC system and a mathematical method to assess distance. Furthermore, for the proposed test and evaluation, theoretical values are tested with vehicle test and a database is acquired, by using vehicles equipped with an ACC system. We proposed the scenarios suitable for the domestic environment and conducted the actual road test. Theoretical evaluation criteria for developing ACC system may be employed and scenario-specific evaluation methods may find their useful application through testing the formula proposed by comparing the database and the mathematical method. and, many companies are expected to utilize the scenario in the developing stage of ACC, and be able to employ as a verification method by harnessing theoretical formula before a road test.

Currently, sharp increase of car is on the rise as a serious social problem due to loss of lives from car accident and environmental pollution. There is a study on ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) to seek coping measures. As for the commercialization of ITS, we aim for occupancy of world market through ASV (Advanced Safety Vehicle) related system development and international standardization. However, the domestic environment is very insufficient. Core factor technologies of ITS are Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, Forward Collision Warning System, AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) system etc. These technologies are applied to cars to support driving of a driver. AEB system is stop the car automatically based on the result decided by the relative speed and distance with obstacle detected through sensor attached on car rather than depending on the driver. The purpose of AEB system is to measure the distance and speed of car and to prevent accident. Thus, AEB will be a system useful for prevention of accident by decreasing car accident along with the development of automobile technology. This study suggests a scenario to suggest a test evaluation method that accords with domestic environment and active response of international standard regarding the test evaluation method of AEB. Also, by setting the goal with function for distance, it suggests theoretic model according to the result. And the study aims to verify the theoretic evaluation standard per proposed scenario using car which is installed with AEB device through field car driving test on test road. It will be useful to utilize the suggested scenario and theoretical model when conducting AEB test evaluation.

The potential damage factor of the vehicle exhaust muffler are thermal shock, thermal stress due to exhaust gas and repetition of complex load from engine and road. Therefore, it should ensure high reliability of the product to meet the growing environmental regulations and the needs for consumers. In this paper, the potential failure of the muffler cause and failure modes were studied. Acceleration model at the level of the scale parameter using maximum likelihood estimation was obtained. The acceleration model was applied to the Inverse Power model to determine the suitability.

This paper is aimed to understand the effect of different galvannealing temperatures on the frictional properties and Fe-Zn intermetallic phases of the galvannealed (GA) coatings on steel sheets. Their galvannealing treatments were conducted at 465, 505, 515 and 540℃ for about 10s in the additional heating furnace of an industrial continuous hot-dip galvanizing line. The mechanical and the frictional properties of the coatings were estimated using nanoindentation, nanoscratch, micro vickers hardness tests and flat friction tests, which were performed at contact pressures of 4, 20 and 80㎫. Also, the correlation between the microstructure and the frictional properties of the GA coatings were investigated by SEM observation for the cross-section of the GA coating after and before flat friction tests. The results showed that the mechanical and the frictional properties of the coatings are strongly dependent on their phase distributions and microstructure. Especially, in low contact pressure of 4㎫ the frictional properties of the coatings were dependent on the surface phases and morphology, while in high contact pressure of 80㎫ it was influenced by their mechanical properties based on the dominant phase distributions.

This paper describes the high response and high precision position control of ETC module using BLDC motor without the hall sensor for detecting a rotor position. The proposed ETC control system, which is mainly consisted of a BLDC motor, a throttle plate, a return spring and reduction gear, has a position sensor with an analogue voltage output on the throttle valve instead of BLDC motor for detecting the rotor position. So the additional commutation information is necessarily needed to control the ETC module. For this, the estimation method is applied. In order to improve and obtain the high resolution for the position control, it is generally needed to change the gear ratio of the module or the electrical switching method etc. In this paper, the 3-phase switching between successive commutations is adapted instead of the 2-phase switching that is conventionally used. In addition, the position control with a variable PI gain is applied to improve a dynamic response during a transient period and reduce vibration at a stop in case of matching position reference. The mentioned method can be used to estimate the commutation state and operate the high-precision position control for the ETC module and the high response characteristics. The validity of the proposed method is examined through the experimental results.
