        STAD 모형과 소집단 편성방법이 대학생들의 읽기능력에 미치는 영향

        This study was designed to demonstrate the effects of using STAD and small group organizing way on English reading comprehension of university students. The research was implemented for 16 weeks with 108 university students. They were divided into two experimental groups: one was taught reading by the STAD small-group cooperative learning, and the other was by the traditional instructional method. The experimental group was again divided into two groups. One group consisted of students whose levels were similar and other group was randomly chosen students. Members of the experimental group collaborated together on their group work and individual work. Students participated in their group work actively and cooperatively. In contrast, the control group was provided with the same text book as the experimental group, but they were guided using the traditional instructional method. The results are as follows: STAD cooperative learning and small group organizing way carried out in small groups has remarkably illustrated good effects in reading skills and positive attitudes of the university students, which are much more than traditional grammar translation instruction. In addition, this study shows that the benefits of using STAD small-group cooperative learning are various, from increasing students' 'four skills', to enhancing their world views and motivation to study.

        대학생들의 시간관리행동과 여가태도, 생활만족도 그리고 자아실현과의 관계

        This study examined the relationships from time management behavior of university students to leisure attitude and life satisfaction, from leisure attitude and life satisfaction to self-actualization, and from life satisfaction to self-actualization. This study used survey research drawing upon the population who were P university students in Busan city by random sampling. A total of 283 surveys were collected out of which 277 were used for analysis in 10 general education classes. Values for Cronbach`s α were calculated through exploratory analysis and used to confirm validity and reliability of the questionnaire by using SPSS version 15.0. In addition, confirmatory analysis was applied to assess the valid relation between latent variables and observed variable. And a structural equation modeling was applied to determine the relationship among the factors by using LISREL version 8.30. The results of the analysis were as follows. First, time management behavior of university students had a positive influence on leisure attitude and life satisfaction, also, time management behavior had a positive indirect influence on life satisfaction through leisure attitude. Second, leisure attitude of university students had a positive influence on life satisfaction and self-actualization, also leisure attitude had a positive indirect influence on self-actualization through life satisfaction. Third, life satisfaction of university students had a positive influence on self-actualization.

        과업중심의 소집단 협동학습을 통한 대학생들의 영어독해력 향상 방안

        This study was designed to demonstrate the effect of using TBI in small cooperative groups of university students. For the study, the research was implemented for 16 weeks with 80 university students. The subjects were engaged in small cooperative group activities during their English reading classes. The groups met on a regular basis for one semester. For these study two groups, at the same level of English ability, were observed and tested. The first group, the experimental class, was guided in performing small group reading activities to complete their task. The group activity was student-centered. Students participated in their group work actively and cooperatively. The second group, the controlled class, was teacher-centered. In this class the same information was taught but students were not separated into small groups. The results of this study are as follows: First, the students in the experimental class significantly improved their reading ability by using TBI in small cooperative groups. Second, these students showed increasing ability in self-directed learning more than that of the controlled class. This study showed that implementing TBI in small cooperative groups would benefit Korean university students’ in improving their reading proficiency.

        중등학교 체육특기자들의 중도탈락 영향 요인 분석

        This research was performed for understanding various factors affecting the dropout of athletes in junior and senor high school and searching research model which explain the process of the dropout and for examining individual and operating school factors which affected the dropout of school athletes. For this purpose, questions were posed to 48 junior and 51 senior high school dropouts and to 58 junior and 57 senor high school athletes who were still working on athletics. As statistical methods, the frequency analysis for population background analysis, t-test for comparing the average of each factor, the path analysis for inspecting the casual sequences were used. The conclusions are as follows; 1. The effects that the individual factors had on the operating school factors in junior high schools are as follows. (1) It was showed that the social structure factor in the individual factors had an positive effects on the social integration factor in the operating school factors in junior high schools. It was showed that the self consciousness factor in the individual factors had an positive effect on the satisfaction at the sports program, the social integration factor, and the athletic environment factor in junior high schools. The individual environment factor in the individual factors had an positive effect on the satisfaction at the sports program, the social integration factor, and athletic environment factor in junior high schools. (2) In junior high schools, the self consciousness factor in the individual factors had direct and indirect, and negative effects on the dropout. And the social structure factor and the individual environment factor had no direct effects on the dropout and had indirect and negative effects on the dropout. (3) In junior high schools, the operating school factors had no effects on the dropout. 2. The effects that the individual factors had on the operating school factors in senior high schools are as follows. (1) The social structure factor in the individual factors had an negative effect on the satisfaction at the athletic program and the athletic environment factor in the operating school factors in senior high schools. The self consciousness factor in the individual factors had an positive effect on the satisfaction at the athletic program in the operating school factors in senior high schools. The individual environment factor in the individual factors had an positive effect on the satisfaction at the athletic program, the social integration factor, the athletic environment factor in the operating factors in senior high schools. (2) In senior high schools, the self consciousness factor in the individual factors had direct and indirect, and negative effects to the dropout. And the social structure factor and the individual environment factor had no direct effects on the dropout and the individual environment factor had negative and indirect effects on the dropout. (3) In senior high schools, the social integration factor had negative, direct effects on the dropout.

        초등학생의 방과후 스포츠 참여에 따른 사회성과 참여 실태에 관한 연구

        This study is to find the sociality difference between the group of which high-class students participate in after-school sports class and the group of which high-class students don`t participate in after-school sports class and the sociality difference in after-school sports groups like team sports, individual sports and man to man sports. This study has a purpose to analyze the realities of after-school sports participation and students` satisfaction. The subject of this study is the six and five grade students as a population in primary schools of B city. This study uses `stratified cluster random sampling method` and researched 440 questionnairs. The collecting questionnairs are analyzed with x 2 analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA in SPSS 11.0 program. The results are ; First, the group to participate in after-school sports class shows the high level of lawabiding spirit and independence compared to the group not to participate in after-school sports class. Second, the analysis indicates that male students is higher than female students in percentage of participation and participation career. Among students who join after-school sports class, the male students take an active part in team sports and the female students take an active part in individual sports. Third, in the group taking after-school sports class, the sports satisfaction between male and female students has no difference and high level. Students in man to man sports are much satisfied compared to students in individual sports and team sports. Fourth, there is no sociality difference in groups of team sports, individual sports and man to man sports.
