체성 연부 조직에 생긴 평활근육종: 1예 보고

체성 연부 조직에 생기는 평활근육종은 매우 드물다. 66세 남자 환자가 방사선 소견상 경계가 좋은 양성 종양이 의심되어 절제술을 시행 받았다. 육안조직소견상 경계가 좋은 둥근 종괴이나, 현미경 소견에서 세포충실도가 증가되고 부분적으로 중증도의 핵이형성을 보였다. 또한 면역조직화학염색상 Smooth muscle actin과 Desmin에 동시에 양성이어 평활근세포 기원으로 생각되었다. 저자들은 괴사가 없고 유사분열은 단 한 개만이 관찰되었으나 중증도의 핵이형성을 보였기에 평활근육종으로 진단한 증례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Leiomyosarcoma of somatic soft tissue is a rare tumor compared with retroperitoneal lesion. We report a case of a leiomyosarcoma of the somatic soft tissue in a 66-year-old man. He presented as an enlarging mass in the left thigh for eight months. Radiologic examinations revealed a well defined round mass, suspicious of benign tumor, such as hemangioma or leiomyoma. He underwent surgical resection. The mass was 3.0 cm in diameter, and it was confined within adductor longus muscle without any connection to adjacent neurovascular bundles. Histologic examination showed moderately cellularity and focal marked atypia with a fascicular growth pattern of spindle cells showing blunt ended nuclei. In addition, the proliferation index was 2~3% by immunohistochemistry using monoclonal antibody MIB-1. But only one definite microscopic mitotic feature was found. Although it showed low mitotic activity without necrosis, this case was diagnosed leiomyosarcoma according to marked cellular atypism.

현대 패션에 나타난 애슬레저(Athleisure)룩 연구

본 연구는 스포츠와 관련된 패션에 대한 연구의 일환으로 현재 글로벌 패션 시장의 핵심키워드로 등장한 애슬레저 룩의 특징을 분석함으로써 오늘날의 유행과 스포츠 사이에 형성된 패션문화를 학술적으로 규명하고 앞으로의 새로운 패션디자인 참고자료로 제시하고자 하였다. 연구의 범위는 세계 4대 컬렉션(파리, 밀라노, 런던, 뉴욕)의 2013년 S/S부터 2016년 S/S까지 보그(Vogue)에서 선정하는 시즌별 가장 영향력 있는 디자이너 컬렉션 작품들 중 애슬레저 룩이 나타난 총 410점을 분석자료로 한정하였다. 선정된 자료는 패선전문가 집단을 통해 디자인 요소에 따라 비교 · 분석하여 패션 이미지 유형별로 분류할 수 있었다. 연구 결과, 현대 패션에 나타난 애슬레저 룩은 럭셔리, 페미닌, 매니쉬, 모던, 레트로 이미지로 나타났으며 종합적인 특징은 편안함을 강조한 아이템으로 레깅스, 조거팬츠, 스니커즈 등 하의를 활용한 스타일이 가장 많이 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 반면에 패션성을 위한 아이템으로 테일러드 재킷 또는 퍼 재킷, 긴 기장의 코트 등 아우터가 전체적인 착장의 이미지를 결정짓는 판단요소로 나타났다. 또한 컬러는 상하의의 컬러를 통일시켜 세퍼레이츠 스타일임에도 슈트의 분위기를 연출하여 일상복으로도 어색하지 않은 신선하면서도 세련된 스타일로 나타났다. 애슬레저 룩은 착 장법과 아이템에 따라 조화를 이루면 다양하고 자유로운 스타일 연출이 가능함을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과가 향후 스포츠 트렌드 관련 패션 연구의 기초자료로 보탬이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to academically investigate the fashion culture formed between today’s trends and sports and provide a basic source for new fashion design ideas by analyzing the characteristics of athleisure look which is a main keyword in the current global fashion market, in terms of researching fashion related to sports. The scope of the study was defined to 410 pieces of athleisure look from collections of influential designers per season selected by Vogue magazine from 2013 S/S to 2016 S/S of the world’s top 4 collections (Paris, Milan, London, New York). The selected data were compared and analyzed in accordance with design factors and athleisure look was categorized by fashion image type in accordance with the formative characteristics by focus interview group. The results of the analysis showed that athleisure look in modern fashion was displayed in images of luxury, mannish, modern, and retro. The overall characteristics of athleisure are as the following. Items emphasizing convenience were mainly for bottoms such as leggings, jogger pants, and sneakers. Meanwhile, items focusing more on fashion were mostly outer clothing such as tailored jackets or fur jackets, and long coats which determined the overall image of the clothes-wearing. Also, as for colors, the colors of both the top and bottom were matched to coordinate a suit-like feeling although being separated styles which displayed an original and stylish look even for an everyday dress. It was shown that athleisure look allowed various free styling by matching the look with different techniques or items. The results of this study are expected to become a basic source for ideas for fashion studies and fashion design related to sports.

고정자세 직업의 중년여성에 대한 압박 스타킹의 착용이 정적 및 동적 안정성에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of wearing compression stockings on static and dynamic stability in middle-aged women who sit and work more than 8 hours a day. The subjects were 12 middle-aged women (59.4±4.5 yrs) by telephone surveyors (average working experience of 7.2 years). As a crossover study, functional movement screen (FMS), Y-balance test, and foot and ankle ability measure (FAAM) were measured with static balance when wearing and without compression stockings, and standing with unilateral and dynamic balance. Independent t-test was performed using SPSS 23.0 for statistical processing. As a result, there was no difference in FMS, but in static balance ability, wearing compression stockings was higher than that of non-wearing. In addition, there was a significant difference between the Y-balance test and FAAM. In conclusion, if a middle-aged woman who sits for a long time and wears compression stockings, it could help the ankle control strategy by stimulating the skin and mechanical receptors of the lower extremities. In addition, in addition to the reduction of sitting time in special occupations, it is thought that effective countermeasures of compression stockings to reduce psychological stress while sitting can be a useful health promotion strategy.

The patient was a 35 year old woman complaining of non tender erythematous nodule on the left nipple for 2 years. Histopathologic findings showed focal acanthosis and extension of epithelium into some of the superficial ductal structures. In the dermis, the tubules were lined by a peripheral layer of cuboidal cells and a inner layer of columnar cells. The papillary projections of the luminal cells into the lumen also were shown. In the upper dermis, we could find the keratin cysta. She was treated with a simple excision of the nipple and subareolar tissue.

위암에서의 중합효소 연쇄반응에 의한 Epstein - Barr 바이러스의 검출과 LMP1 , p53 , CD44 의 발현

N/A Background : Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is associated with various lymphoproliferative disorders and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Recently some of the tumor cells of gastric cancer were observed to contain EBV sequence. We detected EBV using PCR to determine the frequency of EBV associated gastric cancer, which is the most common cancer in Korea. We also performed immunohistochemical staining for the latent membrane protein (LMP1), p53 and CD44 to investigate the possible mechanism in EBV-associated gastric cancer. Methods : Eighty-seven formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded blocks (40 gastric adenocarcinomas, 34 adjacent normal tissues, 13 metastatic lymph nodes) from 40 surgically resected gastric specimens were studied. All patients were diagnosed as having gastric cancer at the Kang-Nam St. Mary's Hospital during the period of April 1995 to April 1997. DNA was extracted from each paraffin block and then we performed PCR and immunohistochemical staining for the LMP1, p53 and CD44. We reviewed the patients' charts for clinical information. Results : EBV was detected in 4 cases (10%) by EBV-PCR among the 40 patients. It was also detected in a metastatic lymph node in 1 patient. The immunohistochemical staining for the LMP1, p53 and CD44 was negative in all the EBV-positive cancer patients. Of the patients having these cancers, 2 had a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with a lymphoepithelioma-like morphology. Conclusion : The frequency of EBV-associated gastric cancer may be about 10% in Korea. Considering the negative result of the immunohistochemical staining for the LMP1, p53 and CD44, EBV-associated gastric cancer seems to have a different mechanism of tumorigenesis from ordinary gastric cancer or other EBV-associated cancers. Nerve sheath myxoma or neurothekeoma, a rare cutaneous neoplasm probably originating from the nerve sheath, is classified into three groups as classical, cellular, and mixed types based on cellularity, mucin content and growth patterns. Only two cases of nerve sheath myxoma have been reported in the Korean literatures. We report a case of nerve sheath myxoma occurring on the scalp of a 29 year-old woman. It was identified as the mixed type by histopathological, immunohistochemical and electronmicroscopic findings. (Korean J Dermatol 1998;36(2): 367-371)

반추수 심장질병의 진단을 위한 혈액화학적 연구

In order to clarify the significance of serum CPK for the diagnosis of the cardiac disease in ruminant, the fluctuation of serum total CPK activities and CPK isoenzyme fractions was examined before and after operation in Korean native goats with artificially induced cardiac injury. In the change of serum total CPK activities, those of experimental group were changed with higher values than those of control group and significant increase was found on 2-week after operation(P<0.05). In the fluctuation of serum CPK isoenzyme fractions, significant increase of both CK1 and CK3 fractions was observed on 2-week after operation in experimental group(P<0.05), but significant difference was not found in CK2 fraction between experimental and control groups. From these findings, it is considered that taking note of increase of not only serum total CPK activities but also CK1 and CK3 fractions is important for the diagnosis of traumatic cardiac disease in ruminant.

An unusual case of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid revealing numerous multinucleated giant cells in the aspiration biopsy cytology is reported. Papillary carcinoma is the most common malignant neoplasm of the thyroid and is frequently diagnosed by aspiration biopsy cytology. Recently, we experienced a case of papillary carcinoma with many multinucleated giant cells in a 55-year-old woman. The cytologic features are described.

Mucious cystic neoplasm of pancreas is a cystic neoplasm composed of columnar, mucin-producing epithelium and is supported by ovarian-type stroma. The key to the cytologic evaluation of pancreatic cystic lesions is to recognize the cytologic components as being diagnostic of a mucin-producing cystic neoplasm, as all of these neoplasms need to be resected. We report the use of fine needle aspiration cytology in the diagnosis of an invasive mucinous cystic carcinoma confirmed by partial pancreatectomy. The cytologic specimen showed a abundant mucin background and sheets or papillae of neoplastic cells. There are mucin-containing columnar cells that show a variable degree of cytologic atypia.
