          A cylindrical post dipping (CPD) method to fabricate the PDMS microlens arrays is presented in this paper. The proposed CPD method is based on the surface tension effect. 2 ㎜ gap and gapless lenses with 2 ㎜ diameter are fabricated and characterized geometically. Both profiles of the fabricated microlens are well-fitted with ideal lens profile. The surface roughness average of the fabricated lens is measured to be 1.953 ㎚. The focal length of 2㎜ gap lenses and the gapless lenses is calculated to be 17.00 ㎜ with 0.65 ㎜ standard deviation and 29.88 ㎜ with 2.58 ㎜ standard deviation, respectively. The proposed CPD method can be applied to wafer level lens fabrication due to its simplicity and versatility.

          터어빈 회전차를 모델로하는 복합 히이트파이프의 전열특성에 관한 연구

          본 연구의 목적은 터어빈 회전차를 모델로한 복합회전형 히이트파이프의 전열특성을 실험과 유한요소의 해석법에 의하여 연구한 것이다. 입열량과 회전수에 따른 Nu, Re, Pr 그리고 무차원 응축액막두께가 변수로 사용되었다. 해석과 실험치는 거의 유사한 경향으로 일치하였으며, 연구결과는 복합히이트파이프 성능예측을 하는데 도움을 주었다. 복합회전형 히이트파이프에서의 열저항은 응축액막두께가 감소함에 따라 응축부의 열전달은 급격히 증가하였고, 응축액막두꼐는 복합회전형 히이트파이프의 전열 특성에 가장 큰 영향을 주었다. 주어진 Pr에서 Re가 변화함에 따라 무차원 응축액막두께가 일정한값으로 나타났고, 무차원 응축액막두꼐는 회전수의 역수의 제곱근에 비례하였다. 본 연구의 해석적 방법에 의해서 Nu=A (δ(ω/ν)^-1/2 Re^B)라는 식을 구했고, 이때 A=0.963, B=0.5025의 값을 얻었다. The purpose of this research is to study the characteristics of heat transfer in composite rotary heat pipe as modeled turbine rotating by a finite element analysis and experiment. Nu number, Re number, Pr number and dimensionless condensate layer thickness by thermal input and revolutions per minute were given as analysis factors. The comparison between calculated and experimental data showed similar tendency. Therefore the analysis method may be useful to predict the performance of composite heat pipe. The resistance on heat pipe showed the best effect of heat transfer by film condensation, by decreasing film condensation, the heat transfer rate from condenser was increased rapidly. The dimensionless condensate layer thickness according to Re number at given Pr number showed constant values, the dimensionless condensate layer thickness is proportionate to the square root of inverse of revolution number per minute. In this study Nu=A (δ(ω/ν)^-1/2 Re^B) is used to the convection heat transfer coefficient and A=0.963, B= 0.5025 were obtained as analysis predicts.

          The purpose of this study was to assume suitable cultivation areas by items and expectably suitable cultivation areas through coefficient of specialization and spatial concentration analysis, and suggested regional specialized items discovered by this research and regional specialized business management plans & development directions. This study has monitored changing aspects of spatial distribution of suitable cultivation areas in stockbreeding items from 2000 to 2010 by applying methods of location quotient(LQ), a multiple model, and etc, and predicted changing aspects of suitable cultivation areas from 2015 to 2020. As the result of analysis, I found that there were specialized items which were spatially concentrated and that there were hot-spots which were focused on some areas by items. Additionally, there were suitable cultivation areas which remained stable or changed by them. To discover specialized items and to develop businesses, I have suggested that it is necessary to ensure business project's feasibility including the present conditions, circumstances & potential of specialized items, and etc., and to secure business competitiveness including technology exchange, production cost curtailment, business management based on consumer's needs and building systematic data about achievement and etc..

        • Design and Fabrication of Self-aligned Parallel-plate Type Micromirror Array

          We present an one-axis parallel-plate type of bulk micromachined torsional micromirror array with single crystalline silicon (SCS) fabricated on the glass substrate. Structurally, bottom electrodes (amophous silicon) in this mirror are DRIEed along the aluminum mirror patterns on SCS, which are self-aligned with mirror plates. Tracing the history of the micromirror study, we found that few papers have been published on research for uniform driving voltages based upon the tilting direction. If there is a slight misalignment during anodic bonding between top (mirror plate) and bottom electrodes, the non-uniformity of driving voltage will be led depending on two different tilting direction. This paper discusses how much the pull-in voltages can be different due to misalignment between two electrodes. Moreover, We achieve uniform pull-in voltage regardless of misalignments in photolithography and anodic-bonding between two individual layers.

          비타민 D와 만성 질환과의 관련성

          Background: Vitamin D deficiency is prevalent worldwide, not only in patients with osteoporosis but also in normal adults. Because the situation is especially severe in Korea. So, we take a look at the degree of vitamin D deficiency in Korea and the relationship between chronic diseases which are common in primary care and vitamin D level. Methods: 200 patients above the age of 20, who were admitted to the Department of Family Medicine at Soonchunhyang University from June of 2009 to May of 2010 were chosen. Questionnaires regarding the patients' drug history and afflicted disease and the average serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D levels were obtained and we looked into their relationships to the diagnosed chronic disease or possessed chronic disease such as like diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, hyperlipidemia. Results: In our study a serum 25(OH)D level lower than 80 nmol/dL (32 ng/mL) was considered vit D deficient. 127 patients (63.5%) were deficient in vit D and 126 patients (73%) were beyond adequacy. The serum 25(OH)D showed a significant positive relationship with total cholesterol (P=0.01), triglyceride (P=0.049), High density lipoprotein-cholesterol (P=0.001), and Low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (P=0.007). The serum 1,25(OH)₂D₃ showed a significant negative relationship with Triglyceride (0.018). The serum 25(OH)D level was not shown any significant effect by Fasting plasma glucose, HbA1c, Total cholesterol, Triglyceride, High density lipoprotein, Low density lipoprotein. The serum 25(OH)D showed no significant relationship with the presence of existing diseases as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, osteoporosis or newly diagnosed as same above at admitted. also, the serum 1,25 (OH)₂D₃ showed a significant negative relationship with the presence of existing diseases as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, osteoporosis or newly diagnosed as same above at admitted. Preexisting treatment history or newly diagnosed at admission of diabetes (P=0.003) and hypertension (P=0.009) showed a significant inversely proportional correlation to the serum 1,25 (OH)₂D₃ level and of hyperlipidemia showed a significant directly proportional relationship to the serum 1,25 (OH)₂D₃ level (P=0.008). Conclusion: About a two-thirds of those surveyed is found to have vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D, in addition to its role in bone metabolism, seems to have an effect on the genesis of hypertension and diabetes. So, it is considered that a further prospective study on the clinical usefulness of vitamin D will be needed for chronic diseases increases due to the increase of the elderly population. 연구배경: 본 연구는 전 세계적으로 비타민 D 영양 상태가 골다공증 환자뿐만 아니라 정상 성인에서도 불충분하고, 우리나라의 비타민 D 불충분은 특히 심하다고 알려져 있다. 이 연구는 우리나라의 비타민 D 불충분의 정도와 일차의료 현장에서 접할 수 있는 만성 질환과 비타민 D 혈중 수준과의 연관성을 밝히고자 하였다. 방법: 2009년 6월부터 2010년 5월까지 순천향대학교병원 가정의학과에 입원한 20세 이상의 200명의 환자들을 대상으로 연구를 시행하였다. 입원 환자들에게 설문지를 통해 과거 병력 및 약물복용력 등을 조사하였고, 혈청 25-hydroxyvitamin D, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D 등을 측정하여 평균을 구하였으며 과거 병력 중 당뇨병, 고혈압, 골다공증, 고지혈증의 만성 질환이 있거나 만성 질환을 진단받은 경우와 비타민 D의 관련성을 알아보았다. 결과: 본 연구에서 혈청 25(OH)D 농도가 80 nmol/dL (32 ng/mL) 이하일 때 비타민 D 불충분으로 봤을 경우 200명의 입원 환자 중 63.5%인 127명이 비타민 D 불충분으로 나타났고, 적정도(Adequacy)에 미치지 못하는 경우는 126명(73%)인 것으로 나타났다. 혈청25(OH)D의 경우 총콜레스테롤(P=0.01), 중성지방(P=0.049), 고밀도콜레스테롤(P=0.001), 저밀도콜레스테로(P=0.007)와 유의미한 양의 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 1,25(OH)₂D₃와 중성지방은 유의미한 음의 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났음을 알 수 있다(P=0.018). 공복 혈당(Fasting plasma glucose), 당화혈색소(HbA1c), 총 콜레스테롤(Total cholesterol), 중성지방(Triglyceride), 고밀도 콜레스테롤(High density lipoprotein cholesterol), 저밀도 콜레스테롤(Low density lipoprotein cholesterol)은 혈청 25(OH)D 농도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 혈청 25(OH)D의 경우 만성 질환인 당뇨병, 고혈압, 고지혈증, 골다공증의 과거 병력이 있거나 입원 시 진단 받은 경우에 있어서 유의미한 상관관계를 보이지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 1,25(OH)₂D₃의 경우 당뇨병, 고혈압의 과거력이 있거나 입원 시 진단 받은 경우와 유의미한 음의 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났음을 알 수 있다. 당뇨병, 고혈압, 고지혈증, 골다공증은 혈청 25(OH)D에 의미있는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 당뇨병(P=0.003), 고혈압(P=0.009)으로 치료를 받았거나 새로 진단 받은 경우 1,25(OH)₂D₃ 농도에 반비례의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 고지혈증(P=0.008)의 경우에서는 1,25(OH)₂D₃ 농도에 비례하게 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났음을 알 수 있다. 결론: 조사대상자의 약 2/3에서 비타민 D 부족이 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 비타민 D는 골대사와 관련된 역할 이외에 고혈압과 당뇨 발생에 있어서도 영향을 미치는 것으로 보이며, 향후 노인 인구증가에 따른 만성 질환의 증가와 함께 비타민 D 사용의 임상적인 유용성에 대한 전향적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

        • Wafer-Level Fabrication of a Two-Axis Micromirror Driven by the Vertical Comb Drive

          We present the design and fabrication precess of a two-axis tilting micromirror device driven by the electrostatic vertical comb actuator. A high aspect-ratio comb actuator is fabricated by multiple DRIE process in order to achieve large scan angle. The proposed fabrication process enables a mirror to be fabricated on the wafer-scale. By bonding a double-side polished (DSP) wafer and a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafer together, all actuators on the wafer are completely hidden under the reflectors. Nickel lines are embedded on a Pyrex wafer for the electrical access to numerous electrodes of mirrors. An anodic bonding step is implemented to contact electrical lines with all electrodes on the wafer at a time. The mechanical angle of a fabricated mirror has been measured to be 1.9 degree and 1.6 degree, respectively, in the two orthogonal axes under driving voltages of 100 V. Also, a 8 × 8 array of micromirrors with high fill-factor of 70 % is fabricated by the same fabrication process.

        • Fabrication method of through wafer nickel interconnects for wafer level packaging

          In this paper, we present the fabrication process and results of through wafer nickel interconnects using high aspect ratio deep silicon etching, nickel electroplating and glass thermal reflowing techniques. Low resistivity silicon wafer and borosilicate glass wafer are used as substrate and isolation layer material, respectively. Diameter of silicon pole after deep silicon etching is designed to be 30 and 40 ㎛. Isolation gap is set to be 20, 30 and 40 ㎛. Average thickness of electroplated nickel and expected resistance of nickel interconnects will be presented. This fabrication method can be applicable to hermetic wafer level packaging of devices with through wafer interconnections because of its wafer level fabrication and rigid structure.
