Electric vehicles have reached a new level of development with introductions by Chrysler, Ford, Honda and Toyota. Today's charging technology includes conductive and inductive charging systems. There are three standardized charging levels: Level 1: charging can be done from a standard, grounded AC 120V, 3-prong outlet available in all homes Level 2: charging is at AC 240V, 40 amp charging station with special consumer features to make it easy and convenient to plug in and charge EVs at home or at an EV charging station Level 3: a high-powered charging "fast charge" technology currently under development that will provide a charge in less than 15 minutes. The incoming AC power is converted to DC and stored in the vehicle's batteries. In this paper, we investigated the application of urban railway DC electric power for electric car charging system.
저탄소 녹색성장이라는 정부의 강력한 지원정책 중 하나인 전기자동차 활성화 방안 발표 이후 서울시에서는 2010년 4월부터 전기자동차의 시내주행을 허용하고 2011년으로 예정된 완성차 업계의 전기자동차 양산예정에 맞춰 전기자동차 충전인프라 구축이 절실히 필요한 실정이다. 이에 도시철도에서는 전기차의 급속충전에 사용예정인 DC전력이 이미 구축되어 전력인프라를 쉽게 활용할 수 있고, 서울시 및 수도권에서 운영중인 많은 역사를 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 유리한 점이 있어 전기차 충전시스템 개발이 용이하다. 본 논문에서는 전기차를 충전하는 과정을 시연 및 홍보하고자 도시철도 전력망을 이용하여 연구개발하고 있는 전기차 충전장치중 교류용 전기차 충전장치를 수서역 공영주차장에 현장설치되는 시스템에 대하여 기술하였다.
Typically, in a partial discharge detecting device for a molded transformer with tap terminals of a no-load switching type on the high voltage winding, the output signal of a partial discharge detecting sensor connected between the tap terminals is applied through an amplifier circuit to an indicator. The sensor is arranged on the high potential side whose potential corresponds to the potential to ground of the tap terminals. The simulation results show the proposed approach may achieve a quite satisfactory recognition of partial discharge patterns.
Considering the increasing importance of the metropolitan railway as citizen's transportation any glitches bring about heavy economic and social losses. Regarding metropolitan railway as electricity-railway obstacle on electricity facility can result in all facility and train operation disorder. Therefore the periodical inspection about eccentricity facility is very important task to operate the train safely. As using this maintenance inspection manual about the periodical inspections systematically the worker can enhance operation efficiency and get the stability on suppling electric power. This paper treats the inspection process, the safe measures and advance preparations about Seoul Metro electric facility to manage more efficiently.
Because of the environmental matters the importance of the city railroad is as time goes by increasing. The case of obstacle of the power equipment which supplies electric power to city railroad will occur social and economical enormous loss. Thus, I studied on the preventing method in advance which makes it possible for us to maintain facilities efficiently. The main check points of the power facilities are voltage, current, humidity, partial discharge, move current. These points are gathered by sensor and transmitting to data acquisition device. These data are used to check equipment status in real time. In this paper I described in brief test process and results of the detection system.
Metropolitan rapid transit has been used by one of a main transport service for several decades, but there are no monitoring system for electrical equipment condition which can cause enormous economic loss and social problem if fault occurs. Recently, necessity of condition monitoring system for electrical equipment fault came to the fore, we became carrying out a research project for a design of electrical equipment lifetime estimation system for metropolitan rapid transit. In this paper, basic design result of condition monitoring system and specification of transformer partial discharge detection system are presented, which are part of entire lifetime estimation system. Definition of target apparatus and monitoring method determined by analysis of user requirement from each railway company and, each railway company's opinions and requests were collected sufficiently by surveys and discussion.
