사회적 재교육으로서 도예교육의 전개 양상에 관한 연구 - 고령 사회에서 도예교육의 방향과 역할에 관하여 -

산업화 사회의 급속한 발전은 생활의 편리함을 가져다주었지만, 그 이면에 인간소외와 자존감 상실 등의 제반문제들도 야기해왔다. 사회적 재교육 프로그램이 이러한 문제들을 해결해 나가는데 큰 역할을 하였고, 특히 도예평생교육은 사회 구성원들에게 정서적 치유를 통한 마음의 안정을 주고 잃어버린 자신감을 회복하는데 도움을 주는 매개체로서 그 역할을 담당하였다. 본 연구는 이런 도예 평생교육 과정이 우리사회에서 보다 효과적인 성장을 할 수 있도록 가장 체계화 된 외국의 현황을 살펴 그 차이점과 발전방향을 모색하고, 더불어 실버계층이 중심이 되는 다가올 미래의 공동체에서 도예교육이 담당해야 할 역할에 관해 제언하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존의 연구와 문헌에 근거하여 평생교육의 개념과 역사를 살피고, 평생교육으로서의 도예교육의 역할을 밝히기 위하여 정서적인 치료의 기능을 고찰하였다. 또 국내보다 먼저 평생교육 과정을 운영해 온 미국, 캐나다, 뉴질랜드, 일본의 대학들을 조사하여 평생교육의 역사와 도예평생교육의 현황에 대해 살펴보고 국내의 교육환경과 비교하였다. 비교 결과를 보면 우리나라의 재교육도 외형적으로 드러나는 물리적인 환경에 있어서는 앞선 다른 나라들에 뒤지지 않을 정도의 성장을 이루었다는 것을 알 수 있다. 하지만 구성원들과의 긴밀한 소통과 협력 등 내적인 성장은 아직 외국의 경우에 비해 부족함을 보이는 것 또한 사실이다. 사회는 급격히 변화하고 있고, 그 변화는 우리사회도 예외일 수 없다. 이런 사회적 변화 속에서 우리나라 도예교육이 그 목적을 상실하지 않고 사회교육의 한 분야로서 훌륭하게 역할을 소화해 나가기 위해서는 특수화된 도예치료프로그램등과 같은 타 분야와의 체계적인 협업을 통한 구성원들과의 적극적인 소통이 필요하다. 그리고 국가와 지역사회의 지속적인 관심과 지원을 통한 안정적인 교육체계로서의 성장과 전문인으로 연계되어지는 교육의 전환이 절실히 필요하다고 하겠다. The rapid development of the industrialized society did not only bring a convenience of life, but also caused various problems such as human alienation and a loss of self-esteem. At this time, the social reeducation program played a large role in solving these problems. In particular, the ceramic lifelong education played a role as a mediator for restoring lost self - confidence through emotional healing. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of the most systematic foreign countries in order to enable more effective growth of the ceramics lifelong education curriculum in our society. In addition, the purpose of this study is to suggest the role of the lifelong education. For this reason, I described the concept and history of lifelong education and the function of emotional therapy through literary study to emphasize the necessity of pottery education as lifelong education. Also, looking into the development of lifelong education in the precedent countries, we can understand and utilize ways in which to develop our education system for the better. In keeping with the development of society, Korean ceramic education needs to communicate actively through systematic collaboration with other fields such as therapeutic programs in order to digest it’s role as a part of social education without losing it’s purpose. It is necessary to grow as a stable education system through continuous interest and support of the national and local community and to transform the education linked to professional life.

현대도자 작품에 나타난 색채대비와 조형적 특징 연구 - 색면추상표현을 중심으로 -

본 연구에서는 추상표현주의 도예적 관점에서 20세기 현대미술, 특히 추상표현주의의 범주에 속하는 색면추상의 형식과 내용에 기반을 두고, 색면추상의 거장인 마크 로스코(Mark Rothko)와 하태임에 관한 선행연구를 통하여 색면추상의 조형요소인 점, 선 면과 순수한 색채를 이용하여 다양한 형태로의 조형적 특징을 추구하는 현대도자 작가들의 작품에 나타난 색채표현의 확장에 주목하고, 도자조형에서 색면을 사용하는 작가의 작품 분석을 탐구하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로는 추상표현주의 영향으로 현대도예에서 색채 위주의 조형작업을 하는 도자조형 작가들과 색채표현에서의 연관성을 고찰하고 현대도자작품에서 보여지는 색면추상의 특징을 내면적 탐구의 색면추상과 조형적 탐구의 색면추상으로 구분하였다. 분석 결과, 내면적 탐구와 조형적 탐구에 있어서 색면추상은 표현대상 뿐만 아니라 심상의 세계까지 표현해 봄으로써 표현영역을 확장시켜 단순하고 초월적이며 강렬한 색채표현을 추구함과 동시에 무의식적인 세계를 자각할 수 있고 내용이나 행위에 대한 주제의 해석에 중점을 둔 정신적인 숭고의 미가 나타나고 있다. 또한 공예나 조각 등의 입체작품은 형태를 구성하고 있는 내부공간과 형태를 둘러싸고 있는 외부공간에서 나타내는 조형성과 내부공간을 구성하고 있는 표현적 요소들의 융합에서 작품의 조형성을 분석하고 있는데 특히, 형태를 둘러싸고 있는 기면은 도자표현의 중요한 바탕이 되었다. 따라서 색의 사용은 예술과 공예를 구분하여 왔던 전통적 방식에서 벗어나 자유롭게 조형언어를 표출해 냄으로써 색의 물리학적 화학적 바탕과 생리학적, 심리학적 심미적 관전에 바탕을 두는 등 작가 개개인마다 표현의 형식과 내용에 따라 다양하게 표현되어졌다. This study will unfold from the perspective of formative abstract expressionism, especially based on color-field abstract, 20th century's modern art which belong to the boundary of abstract expressionism. Through the existing studies of Mark Rothko and Ha Taeim, the masters of color-field abstract, this study aims to investigate artists who adopted the theory of color-field in ceramics and brings attention to modern ceramic pieces which expanded the usage of colors and pursued formative characters using formative elements of color-field abstract, point-lineplane and colors. As a study method, the relationship between artists of modern ceramics using theory of color-field due to influences from abstract expressionism and their actual color usage in artworks has been deeply contemplated and characteristics of color-field shown in modern ceramic pieces are classified into two different categories: color-field abstracts that show internal investigations and formative investigations. After analysis, color-field abstracts in internal investigations expanded and formative investigations surpassing the mere representation of the object, it expresses the mind of the object and thus expanded areas of expression to pursue simple, transcendental and strong color expressions and simultaneously realize the world of unconsciousness and the outcome shows the beauty of spiritual sublime beauty that lay emphasis on interpretation on thematic contents and action. Also, structural and sculptural pieces analyze the artworks' formatives based on amalgamation of expressive elements which form internal space that shapes interior from within and those that form external space that shapes around the external form. Especially what shapes around the form became the important basis of expression in area of ceramics. Thus the usage of color again aided modern ceramics to deviate from old, traditional style to freely express the formative language; each individual artists showed their unique form and contents of expression based on physical, chemical backgrounds or psychological and mental perspectives.
