FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) support insulators for DC(direct current) were developed and their electrical and mechanical characteristics were investigated. Electrical tests were carried out to measure flashover voltages under common use frequency condition. Tensile and bending tests were performed for the mechanical characteristics. The test results showed that FRP support insulators have superior voltage resistances and strengths to porcelain insulators. Field test also is carried out to measure adaptation and to compensate the defect. The test result showed that a new product has no defect in electrical and mechanical.
The LED illuminator has merits that it has low power consumption, long life and emits low Co2 gas. As it has many merits in comparison with existing illuminator it is a realistic alternative. but its possession in illuminator market shows slow increasement unexpectedly. Because its price is very high only low power consumption can not keep pace with economical efficiency. Electric vehicles have reached a new level of development with introductions by Chrysler, Ford, Honda and Toyota. Today's charging technology includes conductive and inductive charging systems. There are three standardized charging levels: Level 1: charging can be done from a standard, grounded AC 120V, 3-prong outlet available in all homes Level 2: charging is at AC 240V, 40 amp charging station with special consumer features to make it easy and convenient to plug in and charge EVs at home or at an EV charging station Level 3: a high-powered charging "fast charge" technology currently under development that will provide a charge in less than 15 minutes. The incoming AC power is converted to DC and stored in the vehicle's batteries. In this paper, we investigated the application of urban railway DC electric power for electric car charging system.
The use of polymer insulator has increased all over the world. As of 2000's KEPCO has used it fully since they introduced it in early 1990's. In Korea it is very widely used by KORAIL which uses AC 25 kV system in the ground electric car line. And It is also used in tunnel electric car line to support AT feeder line. But it has not been used in the section of DC 1500 V. In case of DC 1500 V electric railway system It is has been developed by research institutes by means of R&D projects since 2008. The user cleans porcelain insulators regularly by water because of dusts and pollution. In case of polymer insulators It is very easy to be made dirty by pollution because of the material properties and hard to be cleaned by cleansing. In accordance with these reasons It is worried about deterioration. This paper deals with anticipating problems when we apply it to DC electric railway system and the procedure for testing polymer support insulator.

저탄소 녹색성장이라는 정부의 강력한 지원정책 중 하나인 전기자동차 활성화 방안 발표 이후 서울시에서는 2010년 4월부터 전기자동차의 시내주행을 허용하고 2011년으로 예정된 완성차 업계의 전기자동차 양산예정에 맞춰 전기자동차 충전인프라 구축이 절실히 필요한 실정이다. 이에 도시철도에서는 전기차의 급속충전에 사용예정인 DC전력이 이미 구축되어 전력인프라를 쉽게 활용할 수 있고, 서울시 및 수도권에서 운영중인 많은 역사를 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 유리한 점이 있어 전기차 충전시스템 개발이 용이하다. 본 논문에서는 전기차를 충전하는 과정을 시연 및 홍보하고자 도시철도 전력망을 이용하여 연구개발하고 있는 전기차 충전장치중 교류용 전기차 충전장치를 수서역 공영주차장에 현장설치되는 시스템에 대하여 기술하였다.

In this study, the effect of complex hot water extracts of Cirsium jaonicum, Artemisia annua and Curcuma longa (CAC) on the improvement of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was investigated. CAC inhibited fatty acid synthesis and lipid accumulation in HepG2 cells cultured with free fatty acid (FFA). In the NAFLD animal model, CAC extract suppressed the increase in body weight, liver, and epididymis fat weight, and suppressed the increase in hepatocyte fat and blood triglyceride. In addition, by blocking the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway, cells were protected from oxidative stress in hepatocytes. Moreover, CAC inhibited the expression of COX-2, iNOS, TNF-α and IL-17 in hepatocytes. These results suggest the possibility that CAC extract can be applied in the field of health functional foods and pharmaceuticals for improvement and prevention of NAFLD.
The study on using electric power-restoration is actively going on in the inside and outside of the country and domestic train's operators introduce this facility increasingly. Seoul Metro organizes 1944 trains into 199 groups and of these, 188 trains are capable of restoring electric power except 11 groups, so the trains affording to restore are charged of 95%. In the case of line No.2 Seoul Metro, train group is great deal of weight on VVVF and line No.3ㆍ4 train group is being changed into VVVF from the chopper control trains before. Therefore the interest of the electric power restoration is growing. To introduce power-restoration facility economic analysis of measuring restoration energy should be done. Until now the measurement about the amount of electric power restoration was done by other train operators which operate train in the long interval. So, we have measured restoration energy by using the railway faculties in line No.2 Seoul Metro which operates train in the shortest interval. This paper treats measurement method and the analysis of the result.
