The period between 1945 and 1954 in the history of Italian cinema is dominated by the impact of neorealism, which is properly defined as a moment or a trend in Italian film. Its impact nevertheless has been enormous, not only on Italian film but also on French New Wave cinema, Brazilian Cinema Novo, and films all over the world. Italian neorealism is a style of film characterized by stories set amongst the poor and working class, filmed on location, frequently using nonprofessional actors. Italian neorealist films mostly contend with the difficult economical and moral conditions of post-World War II Italy, reflecting the changes in the Italian psyche and the conditions of everyday life. Identity is whatever makes an entity definable and recognizable, in terms of possessing a set of qualities or characteristics that distinguish it from entities of a different type. From the perspective of Cultural Studies, cinema identity does not exist in text itself. It is constructed in contextual circumstances such as political, social, and cultural conditions. Thus, identity is various and variable within changing circumstances. In order to understand Italian neorealism cinema identity, it is crucial to understand those films within political, social, and cultural circumstances. This research seeks to the contextual reasons why Italian neorelist films began and ended. Italian neorealist films could not begin without ideological freedom, educated film makers, and realistic motivation in Comitato di Liberazione Era. When new conservative government planned to reconstruct Italian film industry, neorealist films faced obstacles. National Association for the Cinema and Similar Industries brought policies hostile toward them. After Guilio Andreotti was appointed the chief director, neorealist films became excluded from financial supports for production and export. Censorship system and Catholic church also push for end to Italian neorealism.

Keypal 활동이 영어편지 쓰기 능력에 미치는 영향

This study examines the effects of the Keypal learning-module on children's English writing ability. The subjects in this study were two classes of fifth-grade students in "S" elementary school in Busan; one class was the experimental group, and the other, the control. The experimental group used the Keypal program in the computer classroom and the control group watched an English video once a week. After fifteen weeks of using the Keypal learning-module, the results of the pre- and post-test evaluations were analyzed for learning effects. The qualitative data was also analyzed to observe the change in the process of the Keypal learning-module. The analysis of the data suggests the following: the English writing training through the use of E-mail showed a significant improvement in writing ability. The analysis of the qualitative data gives the following results: Firstly, the more Keypal pre-activity that the subjects received, the better their performance in letter writing. Secondly, in the letter writing assignment, of the error patterns in the intermediate group, spelling errors were the most common, then sentence errors, and then punctuation. Thirdly, when reviewing the letter writing assignment, the children's reponses were indicative of having sufficient confidence to write an English letter, make foreign friends, and improve their English ability.

전자우편을 통한 쓰기 활동이 영어 어휘력과 쓰기 능력 향상에 미치는 영향

  This study examines the effects of the Keypal learning-module on children"s writing ability. The subjects were two classes of fifth-grade students in "Y" elementary school in Busan: one class was experimental and the other, the control group. The experimental group had the Keypal learning program in the computer classroom and the control group watched English movies once a week for fifteen weeks. For the Keypal learning program, three steps of learning modules were provided: copying a letter with underlined sentences, completing a letter by inserting words into the blanks, and writing a letter with given topics. After the experiment, the results showed that the experimental group made a significant improvement in vocabulary and letter writing ability compared to the control group. Moreover, it is analyzed that students in the experimental group acquired confidence in writing a letter and making foreign friends.

영아의 사회정서 발달과 모-영아 간 상호작용이 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 영아의 사회정서 발달과 모-영아 간 상호작용이 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것이다. 연구대상은 서울, 경기, 충남에 소재한 어린이집에 재원하고 있는 영아와 그들의 어머니 각각 403명이다. 측정도구는 사회정서 발달 척도, 모-영아 간 상호작용 척도, 어린이집적응 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째 영아의 어린이집 적응 수준은 영아의 연령, 성별, 어머니 학력, 취업여부에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 영아의 어린이집 적응은 영아의 사회정서 발달 모든 하위요인과, 모-영아간 상호작용 중 어머니의 언어적 모델링 요인과 정적인 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 영아의 어린이집 적응은 영아의 사회정서 발달과 모-영아간 상호작용이 유의한 영향을 미치며 특히 영아의 사회정서 발달 중 사회적 관계 능력이 가장 결정적인 요인임을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 영아의 어린이집 적응을 돕기 위해 사회정서 발달 능력의 중요성과 이를 지원할 수 있는 부모교육 프로그램 실시의 중요성을 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of infants social emotional development and mother-infant interaction on daycare adaptation. The subjects of this study were 403 infants and their mothers each residing in daycare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungnam. The measurement tools used were the social-emotional development scale, the mother-infant interaction scale, and the daycare adaptation scale. The collected data was statistically analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program. The summary of the research results is as follows. First, the level of adaptation of infants to daycare centers differed according to the infant s age, gender, mother s education, and employment status. Second, the infant s adjustment to the daycare center was positively correlated with all the sub-factors of infant s social emotional development and the mother s verbal modeling factor among the mother-infant interaction. Third, it was confirmed that the infant s adaptation to the daycare center was significantly influenced by the infant s social emotional development and the mother-to-infant interaction, and the social relationship ability during the infant s social emotional development was a decisive factor. Through these research results, the importance of social emotional development ability and the importance of implementing parental education programs to support this were suggested to help infants adapt to daycare.

우리나라에서는 세계 어느 나라보다 다양한 영화 정책이 시행되어 왔다. 정부의 영화 정책이 영화계에 실질적으로 영향을 끼쳐온 역사도 길다. 영화 정책의 기조는 통제와 규제서보호와 진흥으로 전환되어 왔는데, 상영 부문 보다는 제작 부문 중심으로 시행되어온 경향이 있다. 본 연구는 시기별 영화 정책의 영화관에 대한 공적(公的) 인식의 흐름을 관련 법령 분석을 통해 추적했다. 일제강점기 ‘조선총독부령’, 미군정기 ‘미군정청령’, 이후 ‘영화법’, ‘공연법’, ‘영화진흥법’, "영화 및 비디오물의 진흥에 관한 법률" 등에 의해 각종 허가와 규제, 입장세 부과, 스크린쿼터 등의 정책을 시행하며, 영화관을 감시의 대상, 통제의 대상, 고세율 부과 대상, 한국영화 진흥의 공간, 보호의 대상 등으로 인식해 왔음을 확인할 수 있었다. 영화관은 제작 혹은 수입된 영화의 주 매출 창구이면서, 대중의 대표적인 문화 향유 공간으로, 산업적, 문화적 차원에서 중요한 공간이다. 다양한 영화가 생산되는 것 못지않게 다양한 영화가 수용될 수 있는 장을 마련하는 영화관 관련 정책이 좀 더 통합적이고 일관적으로 지속될 필요가 있다. South Korea has one of the most diverse movie policies in the world. The government"s movie policies had actual impact on korean moive industry. This study only focuses on official aspect on film policies related to movie theaters. It"s because the current polices are heavily concentrated only on the production side of the movie. The movie polices need to be strengthened. Though this study we will evaluate the current movie policies and as well as the future policy guideline with in terms of fairness and diversity. With weak movie related policies, the need for community screening and efforts from private sectors has been called out. If we strengthen our policies on diversity and publicness, we might open up the opportunity for developing our genuine culture with the involvement from the private sector. In order to improve Korean movie industry, there is a need for policies that provide adequate channel. Steady and integrated movie policies need to be implemented consistently, as well.

한국영화의 해외진출 방안 연구

The purpose of this study was to explore some specific ways to help Korean films advance into the foreign markets especially into U,S,A,. Korean films should be vigorously exported to the overseas markets, together with their human resources. Such value added markets as DVD markets are on the brink of being withered, while the domestic box office revenues are limited. Lately, exports of the Korean films have been decreasing, although diversified efforts have been made to promote exports of the Korean films. The examples of such efforts are export of remake copyrights, export of human resources, international joint productions, production of foreign scenarios, etc. In order to increase the revenues from the films and create job opportunities and thereby, distribute the Korean films throughout the world, it is essential to promote the overseas advance of the Korean films positively. If we should review the history of the Korean films advancing into American film market, we would be able to make a cool judgement about their current status and find a way to develop them. 〈Dragon War〉, 〈Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring〉 and 〈The Host〉 earned highest profit among 35 Korean films which have been released in U.S.A. However, accurate analysis on those films's theatrical statistics has been done yet. Research and analysis are required for further study. In addition, this study examined the cultural spread effects of the Korean film advancing into U.S.A. film markets. Whenever overseas advancement of the Korean films is discussed, the industrial effects only tend to be emphasized too much. However, as discussed above, overseas advancement of the Korean films will have such spread effects as world-wide publication of our national identity.

멀티미디어 시대의 국내 영상제작 시스템 연구

The ultimate goal of this study was to suggest an efficient fihn and drama production system potentially useful to the field of film and drama production by merging manpower as well media. For this purpose, the researcher theoretically reviewed the past and present conditions of the film and drama production systems in Korea, and thereupon, listened to producers and relevant people and analyzed their opinions. In addition, this study examined the processes of film and drama productions. While the media environment has changed, films and dramas have developed with their production system changed, and now, it is frequently attempted to merge film production with drama production, and in this process, advantages and disadvantages of the two different production systems are being identified to be offset by each other. The starting point for this study was to review past and current conditions of the two different film and drama production systems and thereby, find the differences between them as well as their common points. This study focused on efficient uses of manpower. To this end, the researcher interviewed with past and current film or drama producers, directors, photography and lighting engineers to confirm the differences of video image production system between yesterday and today, while surveying the staff who had experienced both film and drama productions to examine their field experiences of the differences between two genres, the problems perceived by them, and their opinions about the needs for future changes, and thereupon, find the ways to enhance efficiency of film and drama productions. The background for the changes of film and drama production systems in Korea and abroad is the media environment rapidly changing. As new media have emerged to form new technologies and industries, the film and drama making works as contents have had to change into new systems befitting their changed environment. Lastly, it is hoped that this study will conduce to development of more efficient film and drama production systems based on the theoretical researches into changes of video image media.

일반논문 : 최근 한국 영화인력의 해외 진출 연구: 지속적 진출을 위한 제언

Overseas expansion of films is classified into two sections; one is exportation of completion, sales of remake rights, and co-production etc. and the other is film professionals participation of overseas film etc. By our researchers, earlier study has already been found the local box-office results and the assessment with the Korean films that were especially exported to the U.S. in 2009 and 2010, and the remade films. In this study, there is the overseas expansion of film professionals that haven`t been studied yet in earlier study. The overseas expansion of film professionals categorizes as film director, actor, and staff etc. Both local film and joint production film are included. To overcome narrow domestic market, the overseas expansion of Korean film professionals is needed. That is, it is necessary to develop the wider market. Also, on the basis of being verified ability through the work of Korean movie, they were able to get through abroad. In domestic market, however, it has the problems; it is not easy to display their ability and accumulate know-how. Although it seems that they tried to make their own efforts, unfair and unreasonable film production system, which is undergone by staff and latter business, should be corrected as soon as possible. Recently, there is the enforcement of policies such as overseas co-production of media included in film, exportation and overseas expansion of technical strength etc. in Ministry of Science, KT and Future Planning, Content Agency under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korean Film Commission and each local public entities etc. But, in reality, there is merely support on short-term work. They who have experience of overseas expansion make a good evaluation on the system which is reasonable from the beginning of contract stage and is able to maintain the partnership. While this has demerits, this is contrast with domestic production system. In order to maintain the overseas expansion, this is time to ensure the internal stability.
