선모(仙茅) 열수(熱水) 추출물의 Collagen 유발 관절염에 대한 약리 효능 연구

Objectives:In Korean medicine, Curculiginis Rhizoma was treated for arthritis in remedy. But efficacy of Curculiginis Rhizoma on collagen induced arthritis was not revealed. Methods:Anti inflammatory effect of Curculiginis Rhizoma was researched in vitro with RAW264.7 cell and cell toxicity, levels of proinflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-12) and PGE2 were analyzed by ELISA assay. Inflammatory protein were analyzed by western blotting assay (JNK, ERK, COX-2, TNF-α and IL-1β). In vivo, collagen induced arthritis mice model was used to evaluate anti-inflammation effect through arthritis index, immune cell number and cytokine levels (TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β) in serum. Results:ECR(Extract of Curculiginis Rhizoma) has not shown cell toxicity in 200 ㎍/㎖ on RAW264.7 cell. ECR suppressed releases of NO, TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-12 and PGE2 on RAW264.7 cell treated with lipopolysacharide (1 ㎍/㎖). And ECR inhibited regulation of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 mRNA, reduced protein release of JNK, ERK, iNOS, COX-2, IL-1β and TNF-α. AI of group treated with ECR 200 ㎎/㎏ and 100 ㎎/㎏ were significantly decreased compared to vihicle arthritis mice, the number of immune cell in foot joint was increased on control mice but those of group treated with ECR 200 ㎎/㎏ and 100 ㎎/㎏ were significantly reduced. This results correspond with contens of cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6) in serum. Conclusions:Curculiginis Rhizoma has anti-inflammation effect on RAW264.7 cell in vitro and collagen induced arthritis in vivo . So it is necessary to research more mechanism for cascade imfact.

N/A Objectives : This study was performed to observe the effect of water extracts from Fugu rubripes rubripes with several herbs(FRR) on hyperlipiderma and liver damage induced by alcohol. Methods: Except for the normal group, we fed rat on 25% alcohol for 56 days. And FRR extract was administrated for the same pried. We measured the serum component in rat s blood, body weight and weight of liver. Results : 1. At first, we observed effects of FRR on hyperlipiderma induced by alcohol. FRR group didn t show significant increase of total cholesterol in comparison with those of the control group. FRR group showed significant increase of HDL(high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol in comparison with those of the control group. FRR group showed significant decrease of triglyceride in comparison with those of the control group. FRR group showed significant increase of body weight in comparison with those of the control group in 4weeks and 8weeks. FRR group showed significant increase of liver weight in comparison with those of the control DUP. 2. At second, we observed effects of FRR on liver damage induced by alcohol. FRR group showed significant decrease of ALP, GOT and GPT in comparison with those of the control group. FRR group didn`t show significant decrease of LDH in comparison with those of the control group. Conclusions : Reviewing these experimental results, it appears that water extracts from Fugu rubripes rubripes with several herbs have pharmaceutical efficacy on hyperlipiderma and liver damage induced by alcohol. Therefore further additional study should be conducted to elucidate in depth the pharmaceutical efficacy of these.

웅황(雄黃)의 독성과 부작용에 관한 문헌적 고찰

The Korean medical doctors use Realgar for eliminating toxin(解毒), dehydrating dampness(燥濕), removing the phlegm(祛痰), and expelling parasites in the intestines(殺蟲), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, side effects, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Realgar. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The main ingredients of poisoning are As2S2, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Realgar mainly cause stimulating symptoms on nervous system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, blood-forming system, urinary system, integumentary system, etc. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in the western medicine are washing out the stomach, promotion of vomiting, causing diarrhea, administering toxicide, supplies of grape sugar and symptomatic treatment, etc. 3. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in the Korean medicine take advantage of herbs, such as Alumen(白礬), Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix(防己), Phaseoli Radiati Semen (綠豆), etc. And Korean medical doctors should meet symptoms as patients call for attention. 4. In order to prevent against poisoning of Realgar, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes.

The Korean medical doctors use Arecae Semen for destroying intestinal worms(殺蟲), removing stagnation of food(消積), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Arecae Semen. The results were summarized as follows: 1.The main ingredients of poisoning are arecoline, arecaidine, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Arecae Semen mainly can cause stimulating symptoms on digestive system, nervous system, respiratory system, circulatory system and urinary system, etc and those can cause the production of cancer. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment are washing out the stomach, supplies of grape sugar and symptomatic treatment, etc. 3.In order to prevent against poisoning of Arecae Semen, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes.

The the Korean medical doctors use Aristolochiae Fructus for remedying cough(止咳), relieving asthma(平喘), removing heat from the blood to stop bleeding(凉血止血), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, side effects, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Aristolochiae Fructus. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The main ingredients of poisoning are magnoflorine, aristolochic acid, aristolochinic acid, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Aristolochiae Fructus mainly can cause stimulating symptoms on digestive system, nervous system, urinary system, respiratory system, circulatory system, etc. And this Aristolochiae Fructus can cause hypersensitive reaction. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in the western medicine are promotion of vomiting, washing out the stomach, causing diarrhea, supplies of grape sugar, and symptomatic treatment, etc. 3. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in the Korean medicine take advantage of herbs, such as Glycyrrhizae Radix(甘草), etc. And the Korean medical doctors should meet symptoms as patients call for attention. 4. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The main ingredients of poisoning are histamine, hemolytic protein, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Scolopendra mainly can cause stimulating symptoms on digestive system, cardiovascular system, circulatory system, urinary system, nervous system, blood-forming system, etc and can cause hypersensitive reaction. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in the western medicine are washing out the stomach, causing diarrhea, supplies of grape sugar, and symptomatic treatment, etc. 3. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in the Korean medicine take advantage of herbs, such as Glycyrrhizae Radix(甘草), Lonicerae Flos(金銀花), Strychni Semen(馬錢子), Lumbricus(蚯蚓), etc. And Korean medical doctors should meet symptoms as patients call for attention. 4. 비파엽(枇杷葉)의 독성(毒性)과 부작용에 관한 문헌적 고찰

Eriobotryae Folium is in use in Korean medicine. The Korean medical doctors use Eriobotryae Folium for 淸熱化痰(removing heat-phlegm), remedying cough(止咳), etc. I investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, side effects, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Eriobotryae Folium. The results were summarized as follows: 1.Eriobotryae Folium has amygdalin, etc, but toxicity of Eriobotryae Folium was low. Although, side effects can be happened in the case of internal using Eriobotryae Folium with hairs. The side effects are severe cough, laryngeal dropsy, convulsion, etc. 2.In order to prevent against poisoning and side effects of Eriobotryae Folium, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes. And Korean medical doctors should use Eriobotryae Folium after removing hairs of Eriobotryae Folium.

Objectives & Method: We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of herbal medicines used to activate blood flow and remove blood stasis(活血祛瘀藥) in order to use herbal medicines accurately. Result: Cnidii Rhizoma(川芎), Olibanum(乳香), Myrrha(沒藥), Corydalis Tuber(玄胡索), Zedoariae Rhizoma(莪朮), Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix(丹參), Polygoni Cuspidati Radix(虎杖根), Leonuri Herba(益母草), Persicae Semen(桃仁), Carthami Flos(紅花), Manitis Squama(穿山甲), Eupolyphaga(雌蟲), Hirudo(水蛭), Vaccariae Semen(王不留行), Sappan Lignum(蘇木), Lacca Sinica Exsiccata(乾漆), Draconis Resina(血竭) and Leonuri Semen(衷蔚子) may give rise to some side effects or toxic symptoms in herbal medicines used to activate blood flow and remove blood stasis(活血祛瘀藥). The representative methods of poisoning treatment in western medicines are washing out the stomach, promotion of vomiting, causing diarrhea, supplies of grape sugar and symptomatic treatment, etc. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in oriental medicine take advantage of herbs. And Oriental medical doctor should meet symptoms as patients call for attention. In order to prevent against poisoning of herbal medicines used to activate blood flow and remove blood stasis(活血祛瘀藥), the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes and oriental medical doctors should do processing drugs. Conclusion: We should pay attention to clinical using of Cnidii Rhizoma(川芎), Olibanum(乳香), Myrrha(沒藥), Corydalis Tuber(玄胡索), Zedoariae Rhizoma(莪朮), Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix(丹參), Polygoni Cuspidati Radix(虎杖根), Leonuri Herba(益母草), Persicae Semen(桃仁), Carthami Flos(紅花), Manitis Squama(穿山甲), Eupolyphaga(雌蟲), Hirudo(水蛭), Vaccariae Semen(王不留行), Sappan Lignum(蘇木), Lacca Sinica Exsiccata(乾漆), Draconis Resina(血竭) and Leonuri Semen(衷蔚子) in herbal medicines used to activate blood flow and remove blood stasis(活血祛瘀藥).
