주제어기반 분류의 분류론적 개념 정립 및 발전 방안 - 발전과정 및 기능 분석을 통하여 -

본 연구는 주제어기반 분류의 발전 과정 및 현황을 종합적으로 분석하고 그 기능과 유형을 명확히 함으로써 주제어기반 분류의 분류론적 개념을 정립하고, 향후 분류체계로써의 정착 및 발전을 위한 제안을 하고자 하는 목적을 가지고 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 1937년부터 현재에 이르기까지 발표된 주제어기반 분류의 필요성에 대한 논의를 수집하여 분석하고, 주제어기반 분류에 해당하는 다양한 사례를 수집하여 그 명칭과 유형을 분석하였다. 또한 분류로써의 주요 기능 수행력을 기존의 문헌분류와 비교하고, 분류와 주제명표목과의 비교 분석을 통해 지식조직체계로써의 기능과 특성을 밝히고자 하였다. 이러한 분석의 결과, 주제어기반 분류는 구체적인 기능 정의, 유형, 사용되는 정보환경, 지식조직체계간의 관계성 등을 면밀히 고려함으로써 그 분류론적 개념과 기능을 명확히 정의할 수 있음을 밝혔고, 향후 분류체계로써의 정착과 발전을 위한 발전방안을 제시하였다. The aim of this study is 1) to analyse the historical development and current condition of the subject based classification(SBC), 2) to clarify the function and to categorize the specific kind of SBC, for its conceptualization and the development plan. For this purpose, almost 30 cases, for the period 1937 through now, were analyzed concerning their terms used in the names and the specific kinds as SBC. In addition, the analysis was made regarding how the SBC fulfill the selected main functions as a classificatory scheme and how SBC is inter-related with the other knowledge organization systems(KOS) such as classification and subject heading. Based on the above analysis, the conclusion addressed that SBC could be defined in consideration of the detailed function, type, information environment, and interconnection among the KOS, and suggested the future development plan of SBC as a classification scheme.

공공도서관 어린이 전자책 서비스 개선방안에 관한 연구

본 연구는 공공도서관에서 제공하는 전자책 서비스의 현황을 파악하고 전자책 이용을 위한 접근에서 열람에 이르기까지의 전 과정을 분석함으로써 현행 공공도서관 전자책 서비스의 문제점을 파악하고 그에 대한 개선 방안을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 분석 대상으로 선정된 4개 도서관을 비롯한 국내 외의 전자책 서비스 사례를 다양하게 수집하여, 현재 제공되는 공공도서관 전자책 서비스를 구축 및 운영 주체, 이용자 인증 방식, 대출 및 열람 방식을 기준으로 유형화하였다. 전자책 이용 분석은 분석 대상인 4개 공공도서관을 대상으로 PC 기반과 모바일 기기 기반의 전자책 서비스로 나누어 수행하였다. 분석은 이용 경로 및 방법, 검색 방법, 콘텐츠 유형 및 뷰어, 대출 및 반납, 이용안내 등의 항목으로 이루어졌다. 파악된 문제점은 전자책 사이트 접근의 어려움, 복잡한 초기 설정과정과 포맷별로 상이한 이용 방식, 불충분한 도움말과 이용 안내, 상업적 서비스에 비해 느린 속도와 이용편의성 부족, 전자책 특성에 맞는 검색 기능 부족 등이었으며, 이러한 사항들에 대해 특히 어린이 이용자의 특성을 고려하여 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 향후 공공도서관의 전자책 서비스 활성화 및 이용 증진을 위한 고려 사항으로 전자책에 대한 사서의 인식 및 태도 개선, 도서관 주도적인 전자책 서비스 운영, 단말기 대여 및 공간 확보 등을 통한 이용자 관심 촉진, 이용자와 이용자 요구에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한 서비스 개발의 필요성 등을 제시하였다. This study aims to analyse the actual condition of the ebook services and propose the improvements of ebook services for children in the Korean public library. For this purpose, the current condition of the ebook services in the public libraries were analyzed and categorized by three criteria. Secondly, the ebook use analysis was conducted using PCs and mobile devices in terms of access to ebook library site, searching method, contents type and viewer, lending process, and user help. As a result of the analysis, several issues such as the difficulty in access to ebook site, the complexity of setting and usage depending on the file format, the insufficient user guide, the relatively lower quality service than the commercial's, and the lack of retrieval functions specialized for the ebook were presented. The improvement plan for the ebook services, especially for children in the public library was suggested.

유리체망막 경계면 질환의 자발호전

Purpose: To review the mechanisms and clinical patterns of spontaneous resolution of vitreoretinal interface disorders by analyzing cases and available literature on macular hole (MH), vitreoretinal traction (VMT), and epiretinal membrane (ERM). Methods: Medical records and optical coherence tomography (OCT) images of patients with spontaneous resolution of MH, VMT, and ERM were reviewed. Results: Two eyes with VMT, 3 eyes with idiopathic MH, 3 eyes of traumatic MH (including 1 eye with electrical burn), and 2 eyes with ERM showed spontaneous resolution. All eyes except traumatic MH reached a visual acuity better than 0.5 after resolution. All idiopathic MHs achieved anatomic closure in 6 months, and traumatic MHs in 1 month except for the electrical burn case. Seven out of 10 eyes experienced complete posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) during resolution. Conclusions: Some cases of vitreoretinal interface disorders can resolve spontaneously with complete PVD or other mechanisms. Indicators predicting spontaneous resolution should be considered in patients with vitreoretinal interface disorder.

학습자를 위한 웹듀이의 사용성 증진 방안 연구

This study was carried out with the aim of analyzing the development and functional changes of Webdewey, which has become a basic tool of classification learning, analyzing it in terms of usability for learners, and suggesting specific ways to improve WebDewey's usability. In order to achieve this research objective, the concepts and principles of UI and usability were first laid out, and Webdewey's structure and key functions were analyzed. Since then, Webdewey's media changes and periodical feature changes have been analyzed. In addition, an opinion survey was conducted on the usability of WebDewey among learners who used WebDewey in the learning process, and proposed ways to improve WebDewey's usability based on the implications and direction of improvement derived from it. In terms of UI, proposals have been made to introduce display methods, visualization devices, the advantages of printed versions, and the development of Korean versions. In terms of the 'Create built number' function, suggestions have been made to improve usability in terms of basic number selection, composite route guidance and error message provision, new reference and route construction, screen and button design, and built-number component guidance.

눈물언덕을 침범한 결막 점액종 1예

Purpose: To report a rare case of conjunctival myxoma invading the caruncle. Case summary: A 46-year-old man presented with a medical canthal conjunctival mass in his left eye. The mass was a semi-transparent, yellowish, movable mass 10 mm × 6 mm in size in the subconjunctival space. There was no pain and no tenderness. Excisional biopsy of the mass was performed. Histopathologic examination revealed findings suggestive of myxoma. Conclusions: Relatively transparent, movable, yellowish to pinkish conjunctival masses at medial canthal area without pain or tenderness can be diagnosed as myxoma on biopsy and myxoma can be seen at caruncle.

웹듀이를 활용한 분류 교육에 대한 연구 - DDC 매체 유형별 학습성과와 학습자 만족도 조사를 바탕으로 -

The study was carried out for the purpose of identifying implications that should be considered in educating DDC through online within Library and Information Science curriculum. Followed by operating a NCS-based educational course utilizing printed matter and web version of DDC, two tests and survey were conducted to analyze learning outcomes, satisfaction, and preferences by learning tools. The result showed that differences in educational medium do not correlate to educational performance significantly. However, during the learning process, the mainly used medium affects the usefulness, preference and future utilization of the medium. Based on the research results, when designing DDC education using WebDewey in the future, compared to the printed version, relative understanding for utilizing the structure and its items of DDC classification, built numbers and education for understanding Web Dewey interface and function are required. 본 연구는 문헌정보학 전공 분류 수업에서 향후 온라인 매체로만 제공되는 DDC와 관련된 교육을 준비함에 있어 적용할 수 있는 시사점을 파악하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 DDC의 인쇄본과 웹 버전을 활용한 NCS 기반의 교육과정을 운영한 후, 2차에 걸친 직무능력평가를 통해 매체별 학습성과를 분석하였으며, 매체별 활용 기능, 만족도와 선호도를 분석하기 위한 설문조사를 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 교육 매체의 차이는 학습성과에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학습 시 주로 사용한 매체는 매체에 대한 유용성과 선호도, 그리고 향후 매체 활용도에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과에 기초하여 향후 웹듀이를 활용한 DDC 교육 설계 시, DDC 인쇄본과 비교하여 DDC의 구조와 분류 항목에 대한 이해와 활용을 위한 교육, 웹듀이 인터페이스와 기능에 대한 교육, 전조합 번호에 대한 상대적인 이해와 학습이 필요하다는 점 등을 제안하였다.

RDA 교육훈련 동향 분석 및 국내 적용 모형 개발에 관한 연구

This study aims to 1) analyse the current RDA application and training and 2) develop an on-the-job training model for Korean library and information professionals. For this purpose, this study collected and analysed comprehensively RDA on-the-job training programs in the major foreign national libraries, consortium, college libraries, etc. Then, this study presented application methodology of the devised training model to the National library of Korea depending on the RDA application process. Also, the significant consideration for the RDA implementation by type of libraries was suggested. 본 연구는 세계서지제어의 기반이 되는 목록규칙으로 작용하게 될 RDA가 외국의 대표적인 도서관들에서 본격적으로 적용되기 시작함에 따라, 국내에서도 이에 대한 대응이 필요한 시점임을 밝히고, 특히 교육훈련 및 향후 적용과 관련된 주요 논의사항 및 방안을 제시하고자 하는 목적을 가지고 있다. 이에 RDA 도입의 현황 및 RDA에 대해 진행되고 있는 외국의 교육훈련의 내용과 방식을 포괄적으로 분석하였다. 이러한 사례 분석에서 도출한 부문별 시사점을 바탕으로 RDA 교육훈련의 모형을 개발하고, 이를 국내 환경에 맞게 적용하는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 향후 RDA 적용에 따른 다양한 관점의 고려사항을 기관 유형별로 나누어 제시하였다.

공여편 삽입 방법에 따른 데스메막박리 각막내피층판 이식술의 임상결과 비교

Purpose: To compare clinical outcomes of Descemet’s stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK) between different graft insertion methods Methods: The clinical records of 32 eyes of 30 DSAEK patients were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were divided into 2 groups according to graft insertion method. Group A: Taco-folding, group B: Tan-endoglide. The best corrected visual acuities (BCVA), intraocular pressures, astigmatism, endothelial cell count, central corneal thickness and complications were evaluated pre and post-operatively. Results: The average follow-up period was 19 months (range 1-67). Postoperative log MAR visual acuity had significantly improved both from 1.63 (log MAR) to 0.69 and 0.53 at 12 months in each group (p = 0.035, p = 0.000). Mean endothelial cell survival of each group at 1 month postoperative were 75.8% (range 62.7-88.6) and 87.7% (range 70.2-97.9), respectively (p = 0.012). The differences of BCVA improvement and endothelial cell survival between the groups at 12 months were not significant (p = 0.393, p = 0.544). Conclusions: Both methods showed fast visual recovery. Using Tan-endoglide insertion resulted less endothelial cell loss at early post-operative period and showed less post-operative complication and graft failure. 지식조직체계의 용어관계 유형에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze and systematize the semantic relationships in knowledge organization systems(KOS) . For this purpose, Classification systems, thesaurus, subject headings, semantic networks, ontology, databases were analyzed in terms of the semantic relationships between terms. Also, various kinds of the terminological relationships not only in the current KOS but in the theoretical researches were collected and analyzed. In addition, six proposals were suggested for the organized system of the terminological relationships for the future uses. 본 연구는 현행의 용어관계가 가진 문제점을 파악하기 위하여 용어관계의 다양한 사례를 조사 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 용어관계를 체계화하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 용어관계가 기반이 되는 분류, 시소러스, 주제명표목을 비롯하여 의미망, 온톨로지, 데이터베이스 등 기존의 여러 지식조직체계를 용어관계의 측면에서 재조명하여 그 특성 및 상호관계를 파악하였다. 또한 이들 지식조직체계에 실질적으로 나타나는 각종 용어관계의 사례와 용어관계에 대한 연구들을 광범위하게 수집하여 다양한 용어관계의 유형을 파악하였다. 이렇게 수집된 다양한 용어관계를 분석하여 실재하는 용어관계의 체계화 방안을 모색하였다.

도서관 목록과 사회적 목록에 대한 비교 연구 - 목록규칙 분석을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 목록규칙 분석을 바탕으로 도서관 목록과 사회적 목록을 비교 분석함으로써 두 영역의 본질적인 특성과 상호관계를 파악하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 두 영역을 대표하는 목록규칙을 선정하고, 도서관 목록규칙과 사회적 목록규칙의 상대적 비교를 통해 각각의 본질적 특성, 목적, 기반 원칙, 전개 발전 방향, 목록규칙 작성의 주체, 존재와 작성 방식 등을 분석하였다. 또한 목록규칙을 분량과 구성, 총칙의 내용, 개인과 저작을 중심으로 한 개체의 속성과 관계, 주제 목록의 측면에서 상호 비교하여 두 영역 목록규칙간의 유사성과 차별성을 파악하고, 이를 통해 사회적 목록규칙의 목록 작성 단계별 적용 특성을 도출하였다. 이러한 연구를 통해 향후 정보조직 생태계를 전망하고 정보조직의 전개 및 발전 방향을 파악하는 근거로 삼을 수 있다는 점에 본 연구의 의의를 둘 수 있다. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the current and overall situation of cataloging ecosystem focusing on the interrelationship between traditional library and social cataloging site cataloging. For this, an extensive research and analysis was conducted concerning comparative analysis on cataloging rules of the library and social cataloging. As a result, not only the similarity and difference but also interrelationship between library and social cataloging was analyzed in detail. In addition, the characteristics of the cataloging rules were analyzed by the stage of cataloging in the library and the social cataloging environment. This study provides implications for mutual understanding and cooperation between library and social cataloging. The result may have significant meaning in prospecting cataloging ecosystem and planning further study on facilitating interaction and leading knowledge organization development.
