Typically, change order happens in construction stage, but often occurs in design stage due to owner's requirement. At once, design additional fee is raised, but design additional fee estimation methods of domestic are not objectively and confidently. Therefore, this study proposed the estimation method that distributes the ratio in detail activity of qualified architect work scope and calculates the design additional cost by multiplying full design cost and the ratio. The estimation method applied to K project and confirmed the estimated design additional fee to be within negotiation of real case. However this study needs the more case study and actual and objective activity ratio. Eventually, this study expects that the owner easily utilizes and applies the estimation method.

The purpose of this study is to examine the function of wall posts in pit-houses in the Bronze Age, in the Kyung-nam Province. Wall posts were found as post-holes, created after wooden posts had decayed. In this research, the role of wall posts is newly defined from the perspective of a construction engineering. While existing studies in archaeology regard wall posts as sub-posts that support the roof of a pit-house, this study views wall posts as piles installed to support the soil wall, not as sub-posts. Based on the existing reports on excavation in prehistoric settlement sites by archaeologists, the study examines the remnants of the wall posts and remains after a fire. The main findings of this study are threefold. First, the wall posts were installed not as posts but as piles, cut sharply and hammered along the building lines of a pit-house. Second, wall piles were used to support the walls during earthwork, such as excavating and banking for low ground, mostly because a large amount of soil is often lost during the process. Third, wall piles were used as post piles of retaining walls that enabled the installation of transverse wall panels, which were used to prevent the soil loss.

Purpose: To investigate the incidence and importance of diagnosis of lacrimal sump syndrome after endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR). Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 837 eyes in 732 patients, (male 196, female 536) who had undergone endonasal DCR between January 2001 and June 2004. Dacryocystography (DCG) was performed in those patients who had recurrent epiphora or symptoms of dacryocystitis without saline regurgitation on syringing. Results: Among the 90 eyes (10.8%) who had recurrent epiphora after endonasal DCR, 8 eyes were diagnosed with lacrimal sump syndrome and this comprised 8.9% of the causes of DCR failure. Conclusions: Lacrimal sump syndrome should be considered in the case of patients with recurrent epiphora. However, normal syringing finding after endonasal DCR, and revision may relieve the patients’s symptom.
