Incontinence is the urination disorder as the leakage of urine without her own volition and the woman"s representative disease which reduces the quality of life. The urine incontinence has a problem that is hard to diagnosis and treatment because of a shame. The physiotherapy and behavioral therapy are the general method to treat the incontinence. But these methods have some week points such as dependence of individual volition and the troublesome for exam every visit to hospital. For these reasons, incontinence diagnosis system with pelvic floor muscle and EMG are suggested in this study. And the delivery system to therapeutic system and patient maintenance database base on the home network is also proposed. The proposed system is designed to minimized the other"s help with the self monitoring and treatment system by oneself. With the results of this study, urine incontinence patient can monitor and evaluate their state by oneself anywhere. And proposed system can lead the active participation to incontinence treatment.

As many people are westernizing their life style and food consumption habits, a number of patients who have malignant tumors which grow very rapidly and hazardously destroy the human body are increasing. Ultrasonic hyperthermia is not only one of the tumor treatment methods which employs the non-radioactive ultrasonic waves to increase the temperature at the tumor region up to $40\sim45^{\circ}C$ to destroy and suppress tumor cells but also has been proved by many studies. Due to the rapid development of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound(HIFU), the ultrasound hyperthemia extensively boosts its applications in clinical field. For those reasons, Computed simulation factor should be needed before inspection to patients. To prove efficiency of ultrasonic hyperthermia, precise acoustic field measurement considering tissue characteristics and a heating experiment with tissue mimicking material phantom were conducted for effectiveness of simulation program. Finally, in this study, the computer simulation program verified the anticipated temperature effects induced by ultrasound hyperthermia. In the near future, it is hoped that this simulation program could be utilized to improve the efficiency of ultrasound hyperthermia.

The acoustic field analysis method is the superior calibration method for rectifying the ultrasonic probe sensitivity. This method also can be applied to evaluate the probe performance in clinical fields without numerical analysis and precise measurements. In this paper, we propose the method of acoustic field pattern analysis with probe channel division for the evaluation of diagnostic ultrasound probe characterization. In order to verify our purpose, we performed a set of experiments. We measured the acoustic-field pattern of the three inferiority probes by channel division to evaluate an acoustic field distribution and impulse response characteristics. By comparing the results of acoustic field measurement method with that of conventional method such as impulse response and live image test for linear array probes, it is demonstrated that the ultrasound field measurement method is more effective then conventional method in detection of defective elements.

The ultrasonic image devices are very important device in making a diagnosis. In this system, the maintenance of the probe which have a direct effect to the image quality should perform thoroughly. For this reason, the periodical performance evaluation of probe should be achieve. Although the method for analysing an acoustic pressure distribution of acoustic field has good usefulness among the method for performance evaluation of probe, it has disadvantage that needs long time to get data. In this study, the automatic acoustic field scanning system was suggested for easy and fast scanning. It is controled the motor by 3 axis, and transmitted the PC data through the GPIB communication, and saved the peak to peak value by the signal processing in Pc. The scanning mode is consist of operate mode and measurement mode which is divided from 3D acoustic field scan mode and impulse measurement mode. Ultrasonic probe's scan time is measured by using the developed system and compared with hand-operate system. This system is abel to confirm that decreased of acoustic field scan time. it is conclude that auto scan system contribute to spread of performance evaluation of medical ultrasonic probe using acoustic field analysis.
근전도 기반 HCI 기술을 이용한 자발 참여 재활 치료 게임 시스템 구현

In this study, we developed a game interface using EMG signal. The developed system could be chosen between single channel mode and four-channel mode. A single channel system can control one of the keys on the keyboard using amplitude EMG signal. The system for acquiring EMG signals consists of four channel. The motions were defined up, right, down and left state. The user"s intent was recognized through thresholding and comparing signals of each channel. The result of direction classification could be controled the arrow keys on the keyboard. An occurred keyboard event could be substituted for the game interface. A developed system can be expected on effective treatment to an interesting rehabilitation.
근전도 신호의 고차함수분석법을 이용한 정량적 재활정도 평가에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 재활정도를 정량적으로 표현하기 위하여 정상 보행과 모의 비정상 보행 시 보행주기에 따른 근전도 패턴에 고차 곡선 맞춤을 적용하여 분석하였다. 보행 근전도 패턴에 적합한 다항식을 생성하였으며, 그 변수를 군집분석 하여 5개의 그룹으로 분류하였다. 정상패턴을 포함한 그룹을 기준으로 거리가 가까운 그룹을 나열하여 각 변수의 분포를 확인하였다. 진폭감소 패턴, 불규칙 패턴, 역상 패턴 순으로 정상 패턴에 유사하였으며, 분류된 그룹의 분포는 중첩되는 범위가 작아 변수 값을 이용한 그룹 분류가 가능하였다. 분류된 재활정도를 정량적으로 나타내기 위하여 각 계수항의 표준편차를 패턴별로 비교하였고, 정상에 가까울수록 큰 값을 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 역상 패턴의 경우는 편차 값은 크지만 부호가 음의 값을 가지므로 가장 작았다. 본 연구의 결과인 정량적인 재활정도의 표현은 보다 효율적인 재활방법 연구에 기여할 것으로 예상된다. In this study, in order to quantitatively confirm walking rehabilitation degree, we analyzed EMG pattern simulated abnormal gait and normal gait by applying a curve fitting. We calculated the suitable high-order function for EMG signal, and classified them into 5 groups by using cluster analysis. Depending on the distance from normal pattern group, we listed the pattern group and then the distribution of each variables were confirmed. The amplitude-decreased pattern was the most similar to the normal pattern, but the reversed pattern showed the lowest similarity. Due to the smaller overlapping range, the distribution of the groups were possible to classify using the value of variable. The standard deviation of each term coefficient was compared to indicate the quantitative rehabilitation extent, and the higher value was confirmed as the pattern is close to the normal pattern. Consequently, the representation of quantitative rehabilitation extent is expected to contribute to the more effective rehabilitation method study.
