Magnesium alloy sheets are increasingly used due to light-weight characteristics. However, magnesium ally sheets are usually formed at elevated temperature because of their poor formability at room temperature. In this study the warm forming process of AZ31B sheet for mobile phone case is studied numerically by non-isothermal simulation. The temperature, forming speed, blank shape and die comer radius were investigated. And finite element analysis is applied to evaluate process parameters of cooling channel which has an influence on cooling rate.
