          Beauveria bassiana 대량배양을 위한 탄소원, 질소원 및 고체 기질 선발

          For mass production of entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana 149, isolated from moth larva, by two-phase fermentation, we performed selection of carbon and nitrogen sources for liquid culture and examined solid fermentation on carrier, ingredient, temperature, and water content. Spore production with rice powder, corn powder, and starch from sweet potato was higher than that of sucrose and dissolvable starch for liquid fermentation as first-phase fermentation. As a nitrogen source, addition of peptone and yeast powder showed higher spore production than NaNO3, fish powder, and soybean powder. The isolate produced more conidia in sawdust + wheat bran + corn powder, sawdust + wheat bran and rice shell + wheat bran as carrier and ingredient than vermiculite as carrier. Conidia production of B. bassiana 149 in solid-phase fermentation was twice higher at 30 than 20. Conidia yield was higher at 60% and 70% water content (26.9×108 and 38.6×108 conidia/g) than 40% and 50% (13.9×108 and 11.6×108 conidia/g), respectively.

          단보 : 살균제가 곤충병원성곰팡이 Beauveria bassiana GHA 포 자발아 및 균사생장에 미치는 영향

          This study was conducted to test effect of fungicides on the spore germination and mycelial growth of BotaniGard(R)(Beauveria bassiana GHA). Eight fungicides, which are using for plant disease control in cucumber cultivation, with different concentration were mixed with conidia of GHA isolate for 0.5, 2, and 4 hours. The fungicides trifluminazol, fenarimol, ethaboxam, copper hydroxide and tetraconazol did significantly not inhibit on spore germination and mycelial growth. The trifluminazol, propineb and tetraconazol on high concentrations inhibited the mycelial growth of GHA. However, mixing time of fungicide with conidia of GHA did not affect in spore germination and mycelial growth. These results suggest that fungicide effect needed be checked before mycopesticide is applied in the field.

          Bacillus thuringiensis 제품의 농도 및 혼합 조건에 따른 나방류 방제 효과

          담배거세미나방, 파밤나방, 배추좀나방은 중요 경제 작물의 재배, 수확 시에 해를 입히는 해충들이다. 이들 해충의 방제를 위해 Bacillus thuringiensis를 이용한 Bt제는 여러 해 동안 화학 살충제의 대체 방제 수단으로 이용되고 있다. 국내에 시판 중인 미생물 살충제의 방제 효율 증진을 위해 Bt제의 추천 농도 이상과 제품 간 혼합에 따른 효과 평가를 실내 생물검정을 통해 수행하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 5 제품 모두 추천농도에서 배추좀나방 2령 유충에 높은 방제 효과를 보였으나, 파밤나방과 담배거세미나방에는 낮은 살충율을 보였다. 추천농도의 2배액과 4배액 처리 및 Bt 제품들의 혼합 처리에서도 파밤나방과 담배거세미나방에서는 방제 상승 효과는 없었다. Beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua), diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella) and tobacco cutworm (S. litura) are insect pests causing damage in many economically important vegetables in Korea. Bacillus thuringiensis, commonly known as Bt, has been available as an alternative insecticide for many years. Five commercial Bt products and the mixtures evaluate the control efficacy against three kinds of moths. These commercial Bt products had high control efficacy against 2<sup>nd</sup> instar of diamondback moth, but didn"t show high mortality against beet armyworm and tobacco cutworm. Mixtures of Bt products didn"t have synergistic effects to the tested moths. Also application of twice and four times the recommended concentration didn"t improve the control effects against the tested three species of moths.

          관광동기와 관여도에 따른 관광목적지 매력성 연구

          This study aimed at exploring the relationships of tourist`s motivation and involvement on a destination`s attractiveness by examining the five hypotheses derived from the related literature review. The results showed that tourist`s motivation had a positive influence on the level of involvement and the attractiveness of tourist destination, whereas physical motivation was found to have a negative influence on tour conditions. The level of involvement had a positive relationship with the attractiveness of tourism destination and tourist`s motivation, however, the level of importance was found to have a negative influence on tour conditions. The attractiveness of tourism destination was found to have a positive influence on satisfaction and intention to revisit while the satisfaction had a positive impact on intention to revisit. One limitation of this study to be addressed was that the study did not target the more specific and segmented markets. Second, this study sampled both domestic and overseas tourists for the purpose of convenience of sampling and market analysis. Therefore, in the future research further efforts should be made to develop more systematic framework by sampling specific targets at a specific destination for generalization of findings.

          단보 : 곤충병원성 곰팡이 Beauveria bassiana 포자 발아촉진제가 복숭아혹진딧물 살충효과에 미치는 영향

          This study was conducted to investigate agents inducing conidial germination of an entomopathogenic fungus, Beauveria bassiana KK5. Different chemicals including carbohydrates were mixed with conidia of B. bassiana and incubated on water agar for 12 hours. Fructose, mannose and skim milk were useful for spore germination compared to other chemicals. Bioassays against green peach aphids were conducted with the fungal conidia suspended in 1% fructose, mannose and skim milk. Of them, a mixture of skim milk plus conidia of B. bassiana KK5 showed the highest mortalities against 3 rd instar of green peach aphid.

          수혈 시 실시하는 교차시험 및 불규칙 항체선별 검사에서 환자가 불규칙 항체를 가지고 있는 경우 항체의 종류를 정확히 동정하여 환자에게 가장 적합한 혈액을 공급하는 것은 중요한 일이다. 이러한 목적으로 국민건강보험공단 일산병원 혈액은행에서 개원 후 지난 1년간 검출된 불규칙 항체에 대해 각 항체의 종류 및 빈도 등에 대해 분석하여 보았다. Gel card를 이용한 항체선별 검사에서 항-E 항체가 6건, 항- E 항체 및 항-c항체까지 검출된 경우가 4건, 항-Ce 항체가 2건, 항체선별 검사에서 양성이나 특이 항체로 검출이 되지 않은 복합 항체의 경우가 4건 등이었다. 불규칙 항체의 빈도(prevalence)는 0.64%이 었으며 대부분이 Rh-Hr 계열의 항체이며. 특히 Rh-Hr 표현형이 DCe인 경우의 환자에서 항-E항체 및 항-c 항체가 동시에 검출된 경우가 전체의 40%로써 국내에서 보고된 항체 검출률 보다 높은 수치였다. 본원에서 사용하는 불규칙 항체 검사법은 gel card를 이용 37도에서 시행하고 동정검사도 동일하여 이제까지 보고들과는 달리 Lewis 계열의 항체나 한냉항체는 드물었는데 이러한 항체는 그 임상적인 의미를 무시할 수 있는 항체이므로 본원과 같이 gel card를 사용 시 항체선별검사 및 동정검사에 효율적인 업무수행을 할 수 있으리라 생각된다. Irregular antibodies is all kind of antibodies except regular antibodies like anti-A or anti-B. The detection of irregular antibodies is very important to the patients with this antibodies for transfusion. Especially, Rh-Hr antibodies(anti-E, anti-c, anti-C, anti-e etc) have clinical significance in developing a delayed hemolytic transfusion reaction and hemolytic disease of the newborn especially. We reviewed identified irregular antibody in National Health Insurance Corporation Ilsan Hospital for one year(2000. 3-2001. 2). Antibody screening test using gel card identified irregular antibodies in 16 of 2482 cases. The frequency of irregular antibodies : anti-E, 0.24% anti-E+c, 0.16%, anti-Ce 2, 0.08%, specificity not determined, 0.16% in our study. Cold antibodies was not detected in gel card but identified in cross matching of saline phase. We use enzyme technique to detect some antibody like anti-c, anti-e, which could be missed in LISS Coombs phase. We detected 4 cases of anti-E+c and 6 cases of anti-E. The R1R1 patients(DCe) with anti-E were transfused by E+c antigen negative blood to prevent presentation of anti-c.

          효율적인 움직임 추정을 위한 고속 블록 정합 알고리듬의 적응적 선택

          본 논문에서는 기존의 고속 움직임 추정 방법과 새롭게 제안하는 고속 움직임 추정 방법들을 적응적으로 사용하는 기법을 제공한다. 이 알고리듬의 이름은 AUDC이며, 새롭게 제안하는 고속 움직임 추정 방법은 다이아몬드탐색와 3단계 탐색 기법을 기초로 한다. 비록 많은 고속 움직임 추정 방법들이 각각 많은 장점을 가지고 있지만 단점도 가지고 있다. 그러므로 한가지의 고속 움직임 추정 방법을 사용하는 것보다는 적응적으로 고속 움직임 추정 기법을 선택하여 사용하는 것이 더욱 효율적이라 할 수 있다. 그래서 제안하는 움직임 추정 기법은 현재 블록에 이웃하는 블록의 Motion Vector의 길이, 탐색점의 수, SAD를 이용하여 다이아몬드 탐색 기법, 십자 3단계 탐색 기법 그리고 개량된 십자 다이아몬드 기법을 적응적으로 사용한다. 실험결과 AUDC는 많이 알려진 다른 고속 움직임 추정 방법보다 화질을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 탐색점의 수 또한 향상됨을 알 수 있다. A method that is adaptively selecting among previous fast motion estimation algorithms and a newly proposed fast motion estimation algorithm(UCDS) is presented in this paper. The algorithm named AUDC and a newly proposed fast motion estimation algorithms are based on the Diamond Search(DS) algorithm and Three Step Search(TSS). Although many previous fast motion estimation algorithms have lots of advantages, those have lots of disadvantages. So we thought better adaptive selection of fast motion estimation algorithms than only using one fast motion estimation algorithm. Therefore, we propose AUDC that is using length of the MV, Search Point, SAD of the neighboring block and adaptively selecting among Cross Three Step Search(CTSS), Diamond Search(DS) and Ungraded Cross Diamond Search(UCDS). Experimental results show that the AUDC is much more robust, provides a faster searching speed, and smaller distortions than other popular fast block-matching algorithms.

          This study was designed to investigate the effect of soybean leaf extract on the development of hepatic steatosis in high fat diet-fed mice. Soybean plants were treated with ethephon to enhance the production of isoflavones in the leaves. The mice were fed with normal chow diet(ND), high fat diet(HFD) or HFD+Soybean leaf extract for 9 weeks. HFD feeding significantly increased the body weight gain and visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissue weights compared to ND group in the mice, but these increases were attenuated by Soybean leaf treatment. Soybean leaf also attenuated the increases in hepatic lipid droplet and hepatocellular triglyceride level at 64 days of HFD feeding. Finally, soybean leaf markedly increased the phosphorylation of AMPK and ACC and their protein expression in the liver at 64 days of HFD feeding, while inhibited the increase in fatty acid synthase protein expression. Our results indicate that soybean leaf extract has beneficial effects against hepatic steatosis in HFD-fed mice.
