        탄소나노튜브 전극으로부터 전자방출에 의한 진공도 측정

        Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been well known as electron emitters for field emission applications like FEDs. In this work, we propose as new application a vacuum sensor using CNTs and discuss its current-voltage characteristics as a function of vacuum pressure. The proposed sensor, based on electrical discharge theories in air gap well-known as Townsend theory and as Paschen's law, works by figuring out the variation of the dark current and the initial breakdown voltage depending on the vacuum pressure of air which can ionize through collisions with the electrons accelerated by high electric field.

        본 논문에서는 모바일핸드셋을 이용하여 차량의 상태를 정검/감시할 수 있는 자동차 자가진단 시스템에 대하여 연구경과와 구현결과를 기술한다. 우리나라에서는 2005년도부터 자동차진단 시스템 표준인 OBD(On Board Diagnostics)-Ⅱ 시스템 장착이 의무화 됨에따라, 개인도 OBD 스캐너만 있으면 차량의 상태를 진단할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 고가의 전문정비용 스캐너 이외에는 아직까지 개인이 간편하게 사용할만한 저가의 스캐너는 전무한 실정이다. 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 OBD-Ⅱ 표준을 기반으로 한 프로토콜 변환기와 개인소지 휴대폰만으로 자동차의 진단이 가능한 자동차 자기진단시스템을 개발하게 되었으며, 여기에 필요한 사용자 인터페이스는 한국의 모바일 표준 플랫폼인 WIPI에서 구현하였다.

        농산물 수송 트레일러의 현가장치 진동 분석

        본 연구에서는 현제 농가에서 사용하고 있는 진동흡수장치가 전혀 없는 트레일러(E)와 트레일러의 적재규격에 적합하게 평판스프링과 쇽업쇼바를 동시에 설계제작한 트레일러(I)를 사용하였다. 트레일러에 360㎏의 배를 4층으로 적재한 상태로 아스팔트 도로 위를 2㎧로 정속 주행하면서 발생된 평균 진동 주파수의 크기를 상호 비교하여 개발된 트레일러의 진동흡수 효과를 비교 분석하였다. 개발한 현가장치를 장착한 개량된 트레일러는 60㎐ 이하와 80㎐ 이하의 주파수에서 기존 트레일러에 비해 진동 가속도의 감소 효과가 매우 크게 나타났다. 기존 트레일러에 비하여 개량된 트레일러에서 평균 진동가속도의 크기는 주파수 영역에 따라서 다르긴 하지만 3분의 1까지 대폭 감소시킬 수 있었다. 후방의 상층에 적재된 농산물일수록 진동가속도의 크기가 높아 부패가 빨리 진행 된다고 보고된 논문과 일치하지 않는 이유는 전 연구자는 적재함의 길이가 14,000㎜이었고 본 시험에서 사용한 적재함은 1,820㎜로 비교적 짧은 것에서 얻어진 결과로 일정한 경향을 찾기가 어려웠던 것으로 판단된다. 모든 주파수의 영역에서 개량된 트레일러가 기존의 트레일러에 비하여는 진동가속도의 크기가 현저히 낮게 나타났다. 특히 40㎐에서 80㎐까지의 주파수대에서 3분의 1로 진동가속도의 크기를 줄일 수 있어서 농산물의 수송 손실을 대폭 감소시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study was aimed to minimized the impact force and vibration transmitted to transporting agricultural product from the power tiller trailer by installing vibration absorption device. The vibration absorbable trailer (I) mounted with leaf spring suspension and shock absorber was developed and compared on vibration absorption performance with the existing trailer (E) equipped no vibration absorption device. In order to identify the vibration absorption effect of the trailer developed in this study, the vibration accelerations, occurred during driving on paved road with loading 360 ㎏ of pear, were measured and analyzed using FFT analyzer. The magnitude of average vibration acceleration was decreased highly for the improved trailer mounted with vibration absorption device in comparing with existing trailer in the frequency range under 60 ㎐ and under 80 ㎐. And similar vibration absorption effect was represented for the improved trailer in all frequency range. Especially, in the frequency range between 40 ㎐ and 80 ㎐, the magnitude of vibration acceleration for the improved trailer was decreased with 1/3 times in comparing with existing trailer. So, the transporting loss including damage of agricultural product could be decreased highly by using the improved vibration absorbable trailer mounted with leaf spring suspension and shock absorber simultaneously, designed in this study.

        근층내 자궁근종이 체외수정시술의 결과에 미치는 영향

        목적 : 본 연구는 정상자궁내강을 가진 근층내 근종이 체외수정시술의 결과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 또한 이들 결과를 통하여 체외수정시술 전 내과적 보존적 치료나 근종절제술이 선행되어야 하는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 방법 : 경북대학교병원 산부인과 불임클리닉에서 1999년 1월부터 2002년 12월까지 체외수정시술을 받은 불임환자 300명을 대상으로 근층내 자궁근종이 있는 군 (97명)과 근종이 없는 군 (203명)으로 나누어 연구하였다. 대상군의 설정에 있어 7 cm 이상의 거대 근종이나 근층내에 근종이 있더라도 자궁내강의 변형을 동반하는 경우는 대상에서 제외시켰다. 결과 : 근층내 자궁근종의 유무에 따른 체외수정시술의 결과를 비교할 때 임신율과 착상율은 두 군 사이에서 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다 (p>0.05). 또한 근층내 자궁근종이 있는 군에서 근종의 개수 및 해부학적 위치에 따른 임신율 비교에 있어 통계학적 유의성은 없었다 (p>0.05). 결론 : 자궁내강의 변형을 동반하지 않는 위치에 따른 차이도 임신율에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 생각된다. 그러므로 정상 자궁내강을 가진 근층내 자궁근종이 있는 불임환자의 경우 체외수정시술 전에 내과적 치료나 근종절제술이 필요하지 않다는 결론에 도달할 수 있다. Objective : The aim of this study was to assess the effect of intramural uterine myoma in patients with a normal endometrial cavity on IVF-ET cycle outcome. This study was also investigated to find out whether medical supression or myomectomy needs to precede to IVF-ET. Methods : The subjects were 300 infertile patients who got IVF-ET from January 1999 to December 2002 at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Kyungpook National University Hospital, and they were divided into myoma group if 97 patients and non-myoma group of 203 ones. This study group did not include patients found to have large myoma (≥7 cm), or myoma distorting the uterine cavity. Results : Compared with the results of IVF-EF according to the presence of intramural uterine myoma, pregnancy rate and implantation rate between two groups had no statistically significant differences (p>0.05). Further comparisons within the myoma group showed no difference in pregnancy rate by number of myomas or site of myomas (p>0.05). Conclusion : Intramural uterine myoma not distorting the uterine cavity is considered to have no effect on the outcome of IVF-ET and no difference in the pregnancy rate according to the number of myomas or site of myomas. Therefore, these findings suggest that medical treatments or myomectomy before IVF-ET is not necessary to those infertile patients with intramural uterine myomas not distorting the uterine cavity.

        Bacteriological and etiological investigation of bovine brucellosis in South Korea with importance on control strategies

        In Korea livestock farms breeding cattle have been suffering from re-emerging problems of Brucella (B.) abortus infection while steady decline of bovine brucellosis. Therefore, this study underscored the identification and association of etiological agent of brucellosis in cattle in South Korea. The incidence of brucellosis in cattle was analyzed by bacteriological and molecular methods in 187 brucellosis-suspicious farms of 11 regions between 2018 and 2020. Brucella isolates from various specimens were identified by Brucella-specific multiplex PCR. Epidemiological data were collected by local official veterinarians through history taking from farmers and animal data systems. In 230 of 560 cattle (40.9%) and 94 of 187 farms (50.3%), a total of 313 B. abortus were isolated from various specimens, the majority of isolates were from supramammary lymph node (41%). In epidemiological findings, the majority of positive cases were mainly caused by resurgence (43.7%) and unknown (37.2%). Of 94 positive cases isolated B. abortus, abortion in cattle infected by B. abortus occurred in 51 farms (54.3%) where led to resurgence in 30 farms and environmental survival of B. abortus in 9 farms. Consequently, these findings revealed the existence of etiological agent of bovine brucellosis in Korea, which still occurred at low levels in distinct regions where are allowed to call for persistent biosecurity. Thus, we highlight that brucellosis in Korea needs to take more effective control strategies with potential evidence. Moreover it is ultimately important to maintain a constant monitoring for eradication of brucellosis.

      • 진동감쇠 장치를 부착한 트레일러의 수직진동

        This study was aimed to find out the basic information for reducing damage of agricultural products during transportation. The vibration absorption system, consisted of suspension at wheel mounting and coil spring & rubber at hitch part, was developed and tested for the vibration characteristics. The vertical acceleration level was measured at 6 positions, i.e. engine, hitch, seat, and three parts of trailer(front, middle, and rear) according to the low(500rpm), medium(1000rpm), and high(1200rpm) engine speed. The results of this research could be summarized as follows; (1) For low engine speed of 500rpm, the average vertical accelerations were in the range of 0.11~0.27 m/s² by the sensing positions. The higher vertical accelerations were occurred at seat and front position of trailer in order. The vertical accelerations were distributed up to 100Hz at engine, hitch and trailer position, but were equally distributed up to 400Hz at seat position. At three positions of trailer, the peak accelerations of 0.3~1.0 m/s² was occurred one or two times. (2) For medium speed of 1000rpm, the average vertical accelerations were higher in low frequency range, but decreased in higher frequency range up to 300Hz at engine and hitch positions. The vertical accelerations were equally distributed up to 379Hz at seat position, but distributed up to 170Hz at trailer, and the peak accelerations of 0.8, 0.4, 0.2 m/s² were occurred one or two times at front, middle, and rear side of trailer, respectively. (3) For high speed of 1200rpm, the average vertical accelerations were equally distributed up to 400Hz at engine, hitch and seat positions, but up to 500Hz at trailer. The peak acceleration of 0.3m m/s² was occurred two or three times at trailer position. (4) For driving power tiller at speed of 0.35m/s on the controlled road, the peak vertical acceleration were occurred in the range of 80~150Hz at engine, hitch, and rear side of trailer position. The vertical accelerations were very low level for higher frequency range over 200Hz.

Those of trailer part were 0.0162 m/s², 0.013 m/s². and 0.0l06 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction respectively. And the peak accelerations of trailer part were 0.19 m/s², 0.34 m/s², and 0.18 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively at 80Hz of frequency. (2) For medium engine speed of 1,000rpm, the average accelerations of trailer part were 0.0164 m/s², 0.011 m/s². and 0.0104 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. And the peak accelerations were 0.31 m/s² at 100Hz, 0.29 m/s² at 70Hz, and 0.28 m/s² at 100Hz for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. (3) For high engine speed of 1,200rpm, the average accelerations of trailer part were 0.0293 m/s², 0.0194 m/s². and 0.022 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. And the peak accelerations were 1.2 m/s², 1.1 m/s², and 1.9 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively at 60Hz of frequency. (4) For the driving of power tiller at speed of 0.35m/s on the controlled road, the average accelerations of trailer part were 0.018 m/s², 0.031 m/s². and 0.027 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively. And the peak accelerations were 0.13 m/s², 0.24 m/s², and 0.29 m/s² for X-, Y-, Z-direction, respectively.

      • 바닥재 처리로 인한 수송 트레일러의 3차원진동 감쇠 효과

        This study was aimed to prevent the quality loss of agricultural products, which could be occurred by the vibrations of transporting trailer. The vibration absorption effect was measured and analyzed by mounting the polystyrene material on the bottom of trailer. The transporting trailer was tested with being mounted by the pear boxes up to fourth floor. The results of this study could be summarized as follows: 1. At low engine speed of 500rpm, average 3-dimensional accelerations of the polystyrene mounting system were showed similar results by the 3-directions as 0.0005 ~ 0.0006㎨, but those were reduced to 1/2 ~ 1/20 level of the non-mounting system. 2. At standard engine speed of 1,000rpm, the average 3-dimensional accelerations of the polystyrene mounting system were showed similar results by the 3-directions as 0.0005 ~ 0.0006㎨, and also showed similar results as 0.0006 ~ 0.0008㎨ for the non-mounting system. 3. For the accumulated vibration levels, the more low-frequency accelerations were occurred at the non-mounting system, which would make severe effect on the transporting loss.
