앱인벤터 오픈소스 수정·구현

오픈소스는 소스 코드를 볼 수 있고 수정할 수 있다는 점에서 기존 코드의 버그 수정이나 새로운 아이디어의 추가가 가능하다. 오픈소스는 이를 이용한 상업용 소프트웨어 개발은 물론 교육용으로도 그 활용 범위가 매우 넓다. 교육용 블록 프로그래밍 환경의 하나인 앱인벤터는 앱인벤터 오픈소스를 통해 자체 로컬 서버의 구축은 물론 플랫폼 자체도 수정할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 앱인벤터 오픈소스를 로컬 서버에 구현한다. 특히 교육기관의 특성을 반영한 로컬 서버 구축을 위해 앱인벤터 오픈소스 플랫폼을 수정하고 그 과정에 대하여 기술한다. 이를 통해 학생들에게 보다 친숙한 교육 환경을 제공할 수 있고 나아가 학생들의 요구를 반영한 나만의 프로그래밍 블록 추가와 같은 능동적인 대처를 통해 교육 만족도도 높일 수 있다. Open source software allows revising and adding a new idea on them as well as debugging themselves. The open source software can be utilized as various educational programs as well as development of a commercial software products using them. MIT App Inventor, one of the block-based visual programming environments for education, supports building a local server and even revision of the platform itself by providing its own source codes. In this paper we implement App Inventor open sources on the local server. Especially we present how to revise and implement a new App Inventor platform reflecting their own requirements in schools or educational institutes and how to build a local server operating the revised App Inventor platform. They can provide more interactive educational environments to students and improve educational satisfaction through the active customizing of the platform itself such as adding new programming block components requested by students.

안드로이드 앱 인벤터를 활용한 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 교육

Many people are showing interest on computing and computer programming ever as much as the smartphone become more popular. Computer programming languages, however, like Java or C++ being used to teach freshmen in computer science-related majors as the first programming language they will study are so difficult to understand. In this paper, we proposed a short-term curriculum for teaching computer programming using App Inventor for Android to freshmen students major in computer science as the first programming language they will study, which can encourage their interest in computer programming. According to survey from students participated in actual teaching, we found that the proposed curriculum can contribute to increase their interest on computer programming and even self-confidence on development of applications for smarphone. 스마트폰의 대중화로 이전 어느 때보다 컴퓨터와 컴퓨터 프로그래밍에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 반면 대부분의 컴퓨터 관련 학과에서 첫 프로그래밍 언어로 가르치고 있는 C++나 자바 언어는 학생들이 이해하기에 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 관련전공 학생들의 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 분야에 대한 관심을 높이기 위한 첫 프로그래밍 언어로써 안드로이드 앱 인벤터를 활용하는 방안과 교육과정을 제시하였다. 교육 분석 결과를 통해 본 교육과정이 컴퓨터 프로그래밍에 대한 관심을 높이고 스마트폰 앱 개발에 대한 자신감을 향상시키는데 기여할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

온라인 매뉴얼 시스템의 설계 및 구현

본 논문에서는 재난재해 또는 보안의 이유로 외부와의 통신이 어려운 상황에서도 운용할 수 있도록 외부 데이터 통신 없이 장비와 스마트폰 간의 무선통신만으로 장비 인식과 매뉴얼 데이터 전송을 수행할 수 있는 온라인 매뉴얼 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 매뉴얼 데이터가 내장된 매뉴얼 관리 모듈을 대상 장비에 내장한 후 스마트폰에서 수행되는 매뉴얼 앱은 관리 모듈에 부착된 QR 코드 스캔 또는 NFC 접촉으로 장비를 인식하고, 장비가 인식되면 블루투스 통신을 통해 관리 모듈에 내장된 매뉴얼 데이터를 수신하여 웹 템플릿을 이용하여 화면에 표시한다. 구현된 시스템을 실제 산업용 발전기에 설치하여 정전 발생 시 기존의 3단계 처리 과정을 2단계로 줄일 수 있음을 보였다. This paper proposes and implements an on-line instruction manual system which can generate the instruction manual page for the target device at the smartphone on the spot. The instruction manual app. on smartphone scans a QR code or reads NFC tag attached in the instruction manual management module embedded in the target device, and receives instruction manual data from the instruction manual management module through the Bluetooth communications and finally shows the refined instruction manual pages on the smartphone display using a Web-based templates. For the evaluation we embedded the instruction manual management module for an industrial generator with its instruction manual data. Assuming a circumstance of blackout we show that the proposed system can reduce the repair work within two steps compared to three steps in the existing one without the proposed system.

접근 지향 프로그래밍(Access-Oriented Programming)은 자료에 대한 접근을 동적으로 감지하여 연관된 연산을 자동적으로 수행시키는 프로그래밍 환경이다. 활성치의 부착은 접근 지향 프로그래밍 환경을 구성하는 대표적인 기법으로서 변수에 부착되어 그 변수의 변화에 동적으로 반응함으로써 프로그램의 상태를 관찰할 수 있는 기능을 제공하고 이를 통하여 서로 독립적으로 개발된 두 프로그램을 연결시켜주는 기반이 된다. 본 논문에서는 Smalltalk 가상 머신을 확장하여 Smalltalk에서 활성치를 이용한 접근 지향 프로그래밍 환경을 제안한다.

모바일 증강현실을 위한 온톨로지 기반 POI 데이터 모델

Mobile Augmented Reality (mobile AR), as one of the most prospective mobile applications, intends to provide richer experiences by annotating tags or virtual objects over the scene observed through camera embedded in a handheld device like smartphone or pad. In this paper, we analyzed the current status of the art of mobile AR and proposed a novel Points of Interest (POIs) data model based on ontology to provide context-aware information retrievals on lots of POIs data. Proposed ontology was expanded from the standard POIs data model of W3C POIs Working Group and established using OWL (Web Ontology Language) and Protege. We also proposed a context-aware mobile AR platform which can resolve three distinguished issues in current platforms : interoperability problem of POI tags, POIs data retrieval issue, and context-aware service issue.

RISC 마이크로 프로세서의 개발에서는 프로세서 및 그 프로세서를 중심으로 이루어지는 시스템이 최적의 성능을 나타낼 수 있도록 명령어 집합의 설계 단계로부터 최종적인 칩이 완성되기까지 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 작업이 서로 유기적인 관계를 가져야 한다. GISC(Graphics Instruction Set Computer) 프로세서는 효율적인 그래픽 응용 분야를 지원하기 위하여 개발중인 RISC 형태의 프로세서이다. 본 연구에서는 GISC개발을 위한 소프트웨어 작업으로 이미 명령어 집합의 선정과 검증을 위해 명령어 집합 시뮬레이터를 개발하였고 완성된 프로세서를 이용한 시스템을 위하여 그래픽 응용 프로그램 개발 환경을 설계하고 구현하였다. 개발 환경은 보드 시뮬레이터와 GISC 그래픽 라이브러를 중심으로 구성된다.
