For the effective analysis of two dimensional plane problems with geometrical discontinuities, singular finite element has been proposed. The element matrix equation was formulated on the basis of hybrid variational principle and Trefftz function sets derived consistently from the complex theory of plane elasticity by introducing a conformal mapping function. In order to suggest the accuracy characteristics of the proposed singular finite element, typical plane problems were analyzed and these results were compared with exact solutions. The singular finite element gives the comparatively exact values of stress concentration factors or stress intensity factors and can be effectively used for the analysis of mechanical structures containing various geometrical discontinuities.

BGA test sockets failed earlier than the expected life-time due to abnormal signal delay, shown especially at the low temperature ($-50^{\circ}C$). Analysis of failed sockets was conducted by EDX, AES, and XRD. A SnO layer contaminated with C was found to form on the surface of socket pins. The formation of SnO layer was attributed to the repeated Sn transfer from BGA balls to pin surface and instant oxidation of fresh Sn. As a result, contact resistance increased, inducing signal delay. Abnormal signal delay at the low temperature was attributed to the increasing resistivity of Sn oxide with decreasing temperature, as manifested by the resistance measurement of $SnO_2$.

Electroless Ni-P coating is widely used for chemical, electronic, and semiconductor equipment parts because of its corrosion resistance. The incorporation of chemically-inert PTFE particles into the Ni-P films improves properties such as, non-stick, anti-adhesive and better corrosion resistance. However, soft PTFE particles degrade the hardness, wear and abrasion resistance. In this study, effects of PTFE and W addition to the Ni-P-coatings were compared by the XRD, SEM, sheet resistance, contact angle, and microhardness measurements. The change in sheet resistance was negligible, but contact angle was doubled by the addition of PTFE and W. The microhardness was lower for Ni-P-PTFE, but higher for Ni-P-PTFE-W coatings, compared to that of Ni-P coatings.

Oil pump is necessary that the transmission and engine system to improve the performance. This paper is a preliminary study about trochoid oil pump (inlet and outlet) chamber for the optimization of the shape. Changes in a volume of cavity is induced by considering leakage, modeling a working plan the hydraulic circuit recognizes the operating characteristics of the oil pump. Under this paper for increasing efficiency and reducing the pressure in pumping to conduct research.
매입형 히트파이프의 재질 및 규격변화에 따른 수화열 분산 효과

The cracking due to hydration heat in mass concrete must be resolved to improve the stability and durability of concrete structures. In this study, the economic efficiency was improved by replacing a copper pipe with a steel one for the heat pipe, and the heat pipe was standardized to significantly improve the operation efficiency, such as the processing, transport, assembly, and construction time. As a result of the experiment, the peak temperature of the ICSHP, ISSHP, and ISUHP specimens decreased by about 7.2~10.9℃ compared to the OPC specimen and the probability of a thermal crack being generated in the ICSHP, ISSHP, and ISUHP specimens decreased by up to 84~88%.
매입형 히트파이프를 이용한 매스콘크리트 수화열 분산 효과

Although most of existing hydration heat control methods show a certain degree of hydration heat control, generally, there are many problems as mentioned above. Therefore, our laboratory previously developed a hydration heat control method using an exposed heat pipe, which solves most of these problems and simultaneously displays excellent hydration heat control. Unfortunately, even this method had some problems such as the processing, transport, and assembly of heat pipes, and the surface treatment of a cut plane after pouring, and hardening concrete. Therefore, in this study, a hydration heat control method using an embedded pipe has been developed with the expectation that this method solves those problems in hydration heat control using an exposed heat pipe. As a result of the experiment, the peak temperature of ECHP and ICHP specimen about 4.5~6.5℃ than the OPC specimen and the probability of thermal cracked generated in ECHP and ICHP specimen decreased up to 13~20%. Finally, it was confirmed in this study that the hydration heat control method using an embedded heat pipe is significantly more superior and cost effective than the existing method of an exposed one.
CORE-Dedup: 내용보존 접근 지역성 활용한 IO 크기 분할 기반 중복제거

고성능 내장형 기기의 대중화 및 광대역 통신기술의 발달로 생성-관리되는 데이터가 증가하고 있다. 중복제거 기법은 중복된 저장 요청을 판별하여 유일한 데이터만을 저장함으로써 저장 공간을 절약하는 방법으로 폭증하는 데이터의 저장과 처리 시스템을 경제적으로 구축 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 입출력 크기 (IO Extent) 단위 기반 분할 방법을 사용한 CORE-Dedup을 제안한다. CORE-Dedup의 Extent 단위 분할은 접근한 Content가 보존하는 접근 단위의 속성을 활용 한다. 가상머신에서 IO 경향을 수집하고 고정 크기 분할과 새로운 Extent 분할 방법에 대해 중복제거 성능을 비교 평가하였다. 동일 크기 워크로드 경우 4 KB 고정 분할 대비 적은 색인 버퍼를 가지고 유사한 수준의 중복 비교를 성능을 얻을 수 있다. 특히 다수 유저의 유사 IO 중복 접근을 가정한 워크로드 경우에는 CORE-Dedup이 Extent 단위 분할의 넓은 워크로드 Coverage에 의해 고정 크기 분할을 사용한 동일 조건의 Inline-Dedup에 비해 1/10 수준 버퍼를 가지고도 유사 중복제거 성능을 얻었다. 10명 사용자의 동일 compile 입출력을 가정한 병합 워크로드에서 4 KB 고정 크기 분할에서는 14,500개 분할 색인에서 최대 60.4%의 중복 발견율을 얻었으나 Extent 분할에서는 1,700개 색인만으로 57.6%를 얻었다. Recent wide spread of embedded devices and technology growth of broadband communication has led to rapid increase in the volume of created and managed data. As a result, data centers have to increase the storage capacity cost-effectively to store the created data. Data deduplication is one way to save the storage space by removing redundant data. This work propose IO extent based deduplication schemes called CORE-Dedup that exploits content-preserving access locality. We acquire IO traces from block device layer in virtual machine host, and compare the deduplication performance of chunking method between the fixed size and IO extent based. At multiple workload of 10 user’s compile in virtual machine environment, the result shows that 4 KB fixed size chunking and IO extent based chunking use chunk index 14500 and 1700, respectively. The deduplication rate account for 60.4% and 57.6% on fixed size and IO extent chunking, respectively.

세계화 시대 코로나는 새로운 문제를 제기하고 이에 따라 윤리와 도덕도 바뀔 필요가 있다. 필자는 세계화 시대 코로나는 공동체의 범위에 대한 변화를 요구하며, 공동체의 공익을 실현하기 위한 방법에도 변화를 요구한다고 주장할 것이다. 이러한 주장을 위해 첫째, 코로나 위기의 원인과 해법에 대한 논의를 살펴보고, 지금까지 우리사회의 통념이었던 자국중심주의와 인간중심주의의 한계를 지적할 것이다. 둘째, 자국중심주의와 인간중심주의의 한계를 극복하기 위해 공동체의 범위가 바뀔 필요가 있음을 주장할 것이다. 이와 관련해 싱어(Peter Singer)와 캘리코트(J. B. Callicitt)의 논의를 소개하고 평가할 것이다. 셋째, 공동체의 공익 실현을 위한 방법도 바뀔 필요가 있으며, 이를 위해 스미스(Adam Smith)의 정의론적 접근을 살펴볼 것이다. A new era sometimes requires a change in ethics and morals. Corona in the era of globalization raises new problems, and I think ethics and morals need to be changeed. This article will argue that the Corona in the globalization era requires a change in the scope of the community, and also the method to realize the common good of the community. To make this argument, first, we will examine the causes and the solutions of the Corona crisis, and point out the limitations of nationalism and anthropocentrism, which have been conventional views in our society. Second, it will be argued that the scope of the community needs to be changed in order to overcome the limitations of nationalism and anthropocentrism. In this regard, the discussion of Peter Singer and J. B. Callicitt will be introduced and evaluated. Third, it is necessary to change the method for realizing the interests of the community, and we will look at Adam Smith's approach to justice.
