        슬러지 폐기물을 활용한 반도체급 균일한 콜로이달 실리카 나노입자의 제조 및 CMP 응용

        This study suggests the effective recycling method of sludge waste from various industrial fields to synthesize uniform colloidal silica nanoparticles. In detail, polymers are removed from the sludge waste to attain sludge-extracted silica (s-SiO<sub>2</sub>) micron-sized particles, and ammonia assisted sonication is applied to s-SiO<sub>2</sub>, which has effectively extracted the silanol precursor. The nano-sized silica (n-SiO<sub>2</sub>) particles are successfully synthesized by a typical sol-gel method using silanol precursor. Also, the yield amounts of n-SiO<sub>2</sub> are determined by the function of s-SiO<sub>2</sub> etching time. Finally, n-SiO<sub>2</sub>-based slurry is synthesized for the practical CMP application. As a result, rough-surfaced semiconductor chip is successfully polished by the n-SiO<sub>2</sub>-based slurry to exhibit the mirror-like clean surface. In this regard, sludge wastes are successfully prepared as valuable semicondutor grade materials.

        Complete genome sequence of Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 isolated from biofilter of wastewater treatment plant

        본 연구에서는 폐수처리장의 바이오필터로부터 Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 균주를 분리하고 유전체서열을 PacBio RS II와 Illumina HiSeqXten 플랫폼을 사용하여 분석하였다. 염색체의 크기는 3,333,437 bp로 G + C 구성 비율은 68.04%, 총 유전자수는 3,197개, rRNA는 9개 및 tRNA는 49개로 구성되었다. 본 유전체는 오염물질분해와 플록형성에 관여하는 황산화 경로 유전자(SoxY, SoxZ, SoxA 및 SoxB)와 플록형성 경로 유전자(EpsG, EpsE, EpsF, EpsG, EpsL 및 glycosyltransferase)를 포함하고 있다. 이러한 Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 균주는 폐수를 정화하는데 활용될 수 있다. Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 was isolated from biofilter of wastewater treatment plant. The whole-genome sequence of Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 was analyzed using the PacBio RS II and Illumina HiSeqXten platform. The genome comprises a 3,333,437 bp chromosome with a G + C content of 68.04%, 3,197 total genes, 9 rRNA genes, and 49 tRNA genes. This genome contained pollutants degradation and floc forming genes such as sulfur oxidization pathway (SoxY, SoxZ, SoxA, and SoxB) and floc forming pathway (EpsG, EpsE, EpsF, EpsG, EpsL, and glycosyltransferase), respectively. The Comamonas sp. NLF-7-7 can be used to the purification of wastewater.

        기상반응법에 의한 질화티타늄 제조

        TiN은 기상반응법으로 티타늄판과 질소가스의 질화반응에 의해 제조되었다. $\delta$-TiN은 약 1100-140$0^{\circ}C$의 온도 범위에서만 형성되는데 반해, 110$0^{\circ}C$이하의 온도에서는 $\varepsilon$-TiN 상도 관찰할 수 있었다. $\delta$-TiN의 미소정도값은 3000$\pm$300kg/m$m^2$였고, 격자상수는 0.4226$\mu\textrm{m}$였다. 가스의 유동속도가 0.7$\ell$/min의 속도이하에서는 확산과정에 의해 지배됨을 알 수 있었다. 활성화에너지가 110$0^{\circ}C$이상에서는 67.6Kcal/mol이었고 110$0^{\circ}C$이상에서는 13.9Kcal/mol이었던 것으로 보아 반응메커니즘이 110$0^{\circ}C$를 기점으로 변한다는 것을 명백히 관찰할 수 있었다. 그리고 증착속도가 확산과정에 의해 지배되는 영역에서 TiN의 증착속도는 전체 유량의 제곱근에 비례하였다.

        김연아 선수의 ``값진 준우승``: 2011세계피겨선수권대회 관련 보도의 서사구조와 이데올로기

        This study looks into the narrative structure of newspaper media on ``precious winning of the second prize`` of Yuna Kim in the World Figure Championships 2011 and analyzes the socio-cultural ideology representation in it. Also, from the way how the media describe the sports celebrity, the study attempted to read the unique cultural pattern of medias to conserve the fame and marketability of sports celebrity, For the analysis, this study selected 82 news articles from 5 different newspapers right before and after the world Figure championships 2011, and derived the conclusion by using narrative analysis method. The narrative structure is divided into four states: ``waiting for return of queen``, ``the figure queen returns``, ``precious winning of the second prize`` and ``retake of crown through figure`` In each state, medias, in accordance with the narration through a reflection of her successful discourse on national identity, through the identification with the nation, through the nationalism sentiment, through her unconditional patriotism, actively gave an effort to maintain the fame and marketability of Yuna Kim. The chief topic of this research, Korean Figure Skater Kim Yuna`s ``precious winning of the second prize``, is resulted from the integration of her unconditional patriotism grounded on nationalism having an inseparable relationship with sports. 이 연구에서는 2011세계피겨선수권대회 김연아 선수의 ``값진 준우승``을 둘러싼 신문기사의 서사구조와 그 안에서 재현되는 사회적 가치체계 분석을 통해 미디어가 스포츠 명사를 묘사하는 방식을 살펴보고, 필요에 따라 스포츠 명사들의 유명세 및 상품성을 보존하고자 하는 미디어의 전개방식과 특징적인 문화적 패턴을 읽어 내고자 하였다. 이를 위해 5개의 신문사 가운데, 2011세계피겨선수권대회 전과 후에 김연아 선수와 관련된 82개의 신문기사를 분석대상으로 사용하였으며, 서사분석법을 이용하여 결론을 도출하였다. 서사구조는 ``여왕의 귀환을 기다림``, ``돌아온 피겨여왕``, ``값진 준우승``, ``피겨를 통한 여왕으로 재등극``의 네 가지 국면으로 분석하였으며, 각 국면에서의 미디어는 서사의 흐름에 따라, 때로는 그녀의 성공적 담론에 국가정체성을 중첩시키려는 시도를 통해, 때로는 국가와의 동일시를 통해, 때로는 민족주의적 정서를 통해, 때로는 그녀의 맹목적 애국심을 통해 그녀의 유명세 및 상품성을 유지하는데 적극적으로 작용하고 있음을 보여준다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 주요논제인 김연아 선수의 ``값진 준우승``은 스포츠와 불가분의 관계를 유지하고 있는 민족주의를 기반으로 한 그녀의 맹목적 애국심이 융합되어 나타난 결과라고 할 수 있다.

        Long-range multiple-input-multiple-output underwater communication in deep water

        Long-range communication in deep waters must overcome the low data rate due to limited bandwidth. This paper presents the performance of Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) system to increase the data rate. In MIMO system, communication performance is degraded by crosstalk between users and an adaptive passive Time Reversal Processing (TRP) is widely used to eliminate this. In October 2018, long-range underwater acoustic communication experiment was conducted in deep water (1,000 m ~) off the east of Pohang, South Korea. During the experiment, a vertical line array was utilized and communication signals modulated by binary phase shift keying and quadrature phase shift keying with a symbol rate of 512 sps were transmitted. To generate MIMO communication signals, received signals from ranges of 26 km and 30 km is synthesized. Compared to the conventional passive TRP, the adaptive passive TRP eliminates the crosstalk between users and achieves error-free performance with an increase of output signal-to-noise ratio. Therefore, two users separated by 4 km in range achieves an aggregate data rate of 1,024 symbols/s.

        간 질환력과 원발성 간암에 관한 환자-대조군 연구

        The relationship between past liver disease history and the risk of primary liver cancer was analyzed in a hospital-based case-control study conducted in Seoul on 165 patients with histologically or serologically confirmed hepatocellular carcinoma and individually age- and sex-matched 165 controls in hospital for ophthalmologic, otologic, or nasopharyngeal problems. Significant association were observed for liver deseases occurring 5 or more years before liver cancer diagnosis [OR,4.9;95% confidence interval (CI), $1.6{\sim}14.0$) and family history of liver disease(OR, 9.0;95% CI, $2.1{\sim}38.8$). These associations were not appreciably modified by allowance for major identified potential confounding factors. From these results, it is possible to speculate that liver cell injuries caused by various factors might be a common pathway to developing primary liver carcinoma. Considering the significant effect of family history of liver diseases on PLCA risk after adjusting past liver disease history, there might be genetic susceptibility in the carcinogenic mechanism of liver cancer. Further investigations are needed to clarify the effect of family history of liver disease on PLCA risk.

        GaAIAs 레이저 조사가 흰쥐 창상부위 상피조직의 EGF 발현에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed. using EGF, to observated the effect of GaAIAs laser on wound model induced designedly in lumbar region. The results of this study were as following: 1. In expression of EGF which used marker of wound healing, laser irradiating group made EGF to more induce significantly than laser non-irradiating group at 3 days. 2. EGF immunoreactivity in epidermis were increased markedly 3 days after wound, and increased gradually from 1 day to 2 days in wound which is laser irradiation. Therefore, EGF immunoreactivity which increased after wound with GaAIAs laser irradiation indicate that GaAIAs laser have wound healing effect. This study also can become a part of scientific evidence on electrotherapy through measuring quantitively effects of GaAIAs laser in wound

        고온 스트레스 영향에 따른 홀스타인종 젖소의 반추위내 미생물 균총 변화

        본 연구는 고온기 여름철 사육환경에서의 홀스타인종 젖소의 반추위내 미생물 균총 변화를 분석하고, 반추위내 미생물과 고온 스트레스간의 연관성을 규명하고자 수행하였다. 국립축산과학원 낙농과에서 사육 중인 홀스타인 젖소 10두의 반추위액을 채취하였으며, 채취한 시료 샘플은 PowerSoil® DNA Isolation Kit (Cat. No. 12888, MO BIO)를 이용하여 DNA를 추출한 후 Illumina HiSeq<sup>TM</sup> platform (Illumina, CA, USA)을 이용하여 미생물 균총 분석을 실시하였다. 반추위액 내 미생물 균총을 분석한 결과, 사육환경 온습도에 따른 미생물 군집 구성에는 큰 차이는 없었으나, 미생물의 상대적 함량에는 차이가 있었다. LEfSe 분석을 통해 적온과 고온 환경에서 특정 미생물들의 상대적 조성이 유의적으로 증가함을 확인하였다. 이들 결과를 볼 때, 반추위내 미생물 균총은 고온과 같은 외부 환경변화에 영향을 받는 것으로 판단되어 젖소의 고온스트레스 반응에 있어 반추위 미생물 변화가 중요한 역할을 담당할 것으로 사료된다. 추후 연구는 이러한 차이를 나타내는 미생물들의 대사 경로나 대사 물질에 분석을 통해 환경변화와 미생물간의 연관성 및 이러한 미생물 균총 조절을 통한 고온기 젖소의 적응성 향상을 위한 미생물학적 전략 연구가가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. This study was performed to investigate the effect of heat-stressed environment on rumen microbial diversity in Holstein cows. Rectal temperature and respiration rate were measured and rumen fluid was collected under normal environment (NE; Temperature humidity index (THI)=64.6) and heat-stressed environment (HE; THI=87.2) from 10 Holstein cows (60±17.7 months, 717±64.4 kg) fed on the basis of dairy feeding management in National Institute of Animal Science. The rumen bacteria diversity was analyzed by using the Illumina HiSeq<sup>TM</sup> 4000 platform. The rectal temperature and respiratory rate were increased by 1.5℃ and 53 breaths/min in HE compared to that in NE, respectively. In this study, HE exposure induced significant changes of ruminal microbe. At phylum level, Fibrobacteres were increased in HE. At genus level, Ruminococcaceae bacterium P7 and YAD3003, Butyrivibrio sp. AE2032, Erysipelotrichaceae bacterium NK3D112, Bifidobacterium pseudolongum, Lachnospiraceae bacterium FE2018, XBB2008, and AC2029, Eubacterium celulosolvens, Clostridium hathewayi, and Butyrivibrio hungatei were decreased in HE, while Choristoneura murinana nucleopolyhedrovirus, Calothrix parasitica, Nostoc sp. KVJ20, Anabaena sp. ATCC 33047, Fibrobacter sp. UWB13 and sp. UWB5, Lachnospiraceae bacterium G41, and Xanthomonas arboricola were increased in HE. In conclusion, HE might have an effect to change the rumen microbial community in Holstein cows.

        하이덴하인 변형 크로이츠펠트-야콥병 1예

        Purpose: To report a case of the Heidenhain variant of sporadic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), predominantly characterized by visual impairment at onset. Case summary: History-taking, ophthalmologic examination, neurologic examination, cerebrospinal fluid examination including 14-3-3 protein analysis, and brain MRI were performed in a 48-year-old man with progressive visual loss and a visual field defect. These symptoms were accompanied by visual illusion and macropsia. Neurologic examination revealed relatively rapidly progressing cognitive impairment, ataxia, aphasia, and myoclonus. The 14-3-3 protein was detectable in otherwise normal CSF samples. The diffusion weighted brain MRI showed increased signal intensity in both occipital lobes, the basal ganglia, the temporal and frontal lobes. He was clinically diagnosed as having a Heidenhain variant of sporadic CJD. Conclusions: In a patient with a rapidly progressive visual loss, visual field defects, visual illusion, and neurologic abnormalities including progressive dementia, ataxia, aphasia, and myoclonus, the Heidenhain variant of CJD should be considered. Because prions, a cause of CJD, exhibit unusual resistance to conventional chemical and physical decontamination methods, it is necessary to have an appropriate management scheme to prevent the spread of infection.
