Apartment wall greening in the metropolitan area is an effective alternative in the green area and landscape aspect. Creepers were main materials for wall greening so far in Korea. But they have a limitation to cover a skyscraper wall. The direction of the sun influences the growth of plants. Attempts to introduce devices like planter take steps to carry out wall greening. But the key to the solution of the successful greening is the selection of plants. The selection of plants for wall greening is under many restrictions like the depth of soil, planter size, wind and the light condition based upon building direction. A study on plants and their growth for wall greening is wholly wanting now.<br/> So in this study we make researches into the development conditions of native herbaceous flowers which are able to be introduced for a high building greening. An experiment station is the 1st and 22nd floor of the planter equiped high-rise apartment in Seoul. Watering was reduced to the minimum. And we attempted to grasp the continuous growth possibility through measuring the plants' conditions after winter.<br/> The stem length in higher story is shorter than that in lower story. The plants to a northern aspect show only their length growth. Particularly the growth of plants in higher story to a northern aspect was bed but wonderful growth was shown in higher and lower story to a southern aspect. Which means light condition has something much to do with plant growth than the influence from height differences. And the wind in upper floors has influence on the stem length and number of leaf.

Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) were harvested from the femurs and tibias of adult female Fischer rat. BMSCs were suspended at 2×106 cell/mL in poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) which was saturated with 0.5 ml methylene chloride. The ability of the PLGA with BMSCs to be integrated and to promote nerve regeneration in the transected rat spinal cord was investigated. Fischer rat received an implant consisting of the BMSCs suspended in the PLGA in a 5 mm gap (at position; T8~T9) created by the spinal cord resection. For histological evaluation, the implanted regions were removed after 4 and 8 weeks. Thin sections were cut from paraffin embedded tissue and histological sections were stained hematoxylin and eosin staining. Motor functional outcome measurements using the Basso-Beattie-Bresnehan (BBB) score performed weekly during 8 weeks of post-injury. It was observed that the effects of the PLGA with BMSCs on neuroinduction (Group III, with scaffold, cell & cytokine) are stronger that PLGA without BMSCs (Group II, with scaffold only) and blank model (Group I). In conclusion, these results suggest that BMSCs and BDNF may have an important role for spinal cord regeneration of tissue engineering.
This study is to draw up a plan of interior landscape design through the analysis of color planing. Color, which is a one of the main factor of visual experience in human environment, has influence on consciousness and subconsciousness of human being and also on thought and behaviors of human being by working on emotions as a simulator that cause various psychological reaction.<br/> First of all, understanding of visual elements of interior landscape is going to be a link between architecture space and interior landscape.<br/> Color environment build through the above approach should fulfill the need of user and provide a Interior Landscape design with high visual preference. Also, it should be recognized that the necessity and value of Interior Landscape design through systematic coloring plan.
An apartment becomes major dwelling type in Korea lately. It is constructed continually as an efficient housing since land value is costly in the city. It will be also unshakable dwelling type for the years to come. The regulation of making a simple flower box on the apartment balcony is legislated and carried into effect since the shortage of greens reaches the limit.<br/> But construction company uses the regulation as a tool for the enlargement of the balcony space.<br/> Dweller's controling a planter at balcony, it is concerned about passive making and diverting a planter into balcony. So we are going to consider systemic problems of a simple flower box and improvement plans and various management methods for apartment wall greening in this study.
Underground space is one of the urban infrastructures which must be actively used because of high land price in urban areas. But bring human negative effects, underground space is not developed actively. And it plays a role just as transportation.<br/> Introduction of Green zone and Object of art can get rid underground space of negative factors. Especially, releases Green zone in underground space negative factors and provides nature to people.<br/> And high-technology like optical fiber make introduction of Green zone in underground space possible. Green zone not only releases negative factors but elevates visual perception and satisfaction.<br/> Active use and development of underground space are to be accomplished through removing negative factors and improving environment in the end.<br/> The Study for introduction Green zone to rise visual satisfaction and perception must be continued on the basis of positive counteraction.<br/>
