        강원도 화천군 수달(Lutra lutra) 서식지의 식생 구조

        In order to determine whether vegetation would be one of the factors for the selection of otter home range, vegetation structure and other potential factors were studied in Hwacheon, Korea. Thirteen sites, otter’s activity found and not found, were investigated in North Han River and connected tributary streams of Hwacheon-gun. Three types of vegetation were classified by cluster analysis, which is short grass, tall grass and shrub type. Vegetation zone of each channel is composed of either one type, or mosaic of tall grass and shrub type. Short grass type is common in Lake Paro and upper North Han-river where water level is highly variable throughout a year. Therefore, annual species such as Persicaria nodosa, Fimbristylis dichotomam and Chenopodium ficifolium are the most dominant. Shrub type is common at the downstream sites of Jichon stream and along mainstream of North Han River down Lake Paro. A shrub species, Salix koreensis, is the most common. Tall grass type is dominant occupying the most vegetation zone of the tributary channels. Phragmites japonica is absolutely dominant. Due to its dense cover, a few plant species are co-existed. Otter activity was found in all three vegetation types and no marked activity was found at some sites of tall grass type. There is no difference in species composition and physiognomy between tall grass sites with and without otter activity, while it shows significant difference in fish availability between two groups. Overall we found that home range of otters in the region is along the mainstream and downstream of tributary streams with high fish availability in all vegetation types and in various human activity levels.

        The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

        저장기간에 따른 3개 수종의 종자 및 발아 특성 변화

        This study was conducted to examine the changes in the seed physical characters and germinative properties of three tree species at three different storage times in order to determine the most suitable storage time and condition. Seed physical characters and germinative properties were examined from seeds of Fraxinus rhynchophylla, Zanthoxylum schinifolium and Staphylea bumalda that were stored at -18C for 1, 3 and 10 years, and the growth performance and physiological characters of their seedlings were analyzed. Seed physical characters and germinative properties showed significant differences between three storage times as well as three tree species. Seed moisture content of F. rhynchophylla and S. bumalda and seed fresh weight of Z. schinifolium decreased with increase of storage time. Storage time represented negative correlation with moisture content and fresh weight (r = -0.822, p < 0.01). Seed percent germination of Z. schinifolium and S. bumalda stored for 3 and 10 years decreased less than 15% and 10.7% respectively. Mean germination times for seed of F. rhynchophylla, Z. schinifolium and S. bumalda were delayed 11.9, 5.7 and 9.7 days after a storage time of 10 years, respectively. However the growth and viability of seedlings didn't show a special pattern for storage time and tree species.

        The present study was conducted to know the salinity tolerance of the bloody clam, Tegillarca granosa (Linnaeus) caught in Gang-jin Bay from May to June in 2000. In the experimental groups of sandy-mud, the survival and infiltration rate were not bad at 20~40ppt, but all the bloody clam, Tegillarca granosa died at more than 50ppt and less than 10ppt before the experiment finish. In the experimental groups of muddy, the survival and infiltration rate wrer not bad at 20~35ppt and then 40ppt, 45ppt. All the bloody clam, Tegillarca granosa died at more than 50ppt and less than 10ppt. The infiltration rate was high at 25~35ppt in the both of two experimental groups. In the sandy-mud, the bloody clam, Tegillarca granosa infiltrated less than half of their shells at 25ppt, 30ppt but in the muddy, they infiltrated more than half of their shells at 25ppt, 30ppt, 35ppt.

        슬러지 전처리와 고농도 MBR을 이용한 슬러지 감량화 공정연구

        From this research, the performances of a sludge reduction in the sewage sludge aerobic digestion was experimented by using a sludge pretreatment and membrane bioreactor. The submerged plate membrane was used as the solid-liquid separation membrane . After drawing small amounts of sludge in a bioreactor and then doing the alkaline treatment and ozone treatment, the sludge was sent to back to the reactor. The HRT in the reactor was set as 5 days and the operation in the reactor was carried out at the DO of 1㎎/L on average. After 100 days of operation in the reactor, it was shown that the reduction efficiency of total solids was more than 83%. Most of volatile solids were removed through mineralization, and the considerable portion of the nonvolatile solids was dissolved and then flowed out with the effluent. Only about 16.3% of total solids in the sludge was accmulated in the reactor even without the loss of volatile fraction. Also, by deriving nitrification and denitrification in one reactor simultaneously, more than 90% of nitrogen removal effect was realized and the experiment was run smoothly without fouling of membrane, even in the high concentration of MLSS. Based on this experiment. sludge can be reduced considerably at a low HRT by these two newly suggested approach.

        조직확장기 사용의 임상적 고찰

        Recently, soft tissue expansion technique using tissue expanders has become a popular method for reconstruction of soft tissue defect because it provides high quality tissue with similar color, texture and hair bearing characteristics without significant donor site problems. During the period September, 1983 to December, 1988, we used tissue expanders to treat 36 patients with soft tissue defect, 3 scalp, 10 face, 6 neck, 4 trunk, 10 upper extremity, 3 lower extremity and evaluated the operative techniques, results and complications as follows. 1. We achieved favorable results in 31 cases(86.1%), especially in scalp, face and upper extremity, but poor results in lower extremity, especially below knee in location. 2. We experienced major complications in 2 cases(5.6%) such as implant exposure and minor complications in 7 cases(19.4%) such as hematoma, partial necrosis, infection, underlying bony depression etc. 3. Capsular excision is not desirable, but capsular release may permitted to acquire maximal length of the advancing flap. 4. In case of microtia, expanded tissue which was obtained from expanders is defficient for elevation of framework without skin graft. 5. Accurate and meticulous preoperative evaluation is the most important factor in achieving good and results.

        양수 다발성 수지 재접합수의 치험례 : 4 cases report

        Since the first successful replantation operation, several reports have been recorded replantated finger survival with high success rates. But ten and nine digits amputations are not common. It is even more unusual to have all digits suitable for replantation. 4 cases are presented where replantation of ten and nine digits were done at the department of PRS. Guro Hospital, Korea University from March 1987 to Jun 1988. In these cases, the patients were young and healthy, all of ten and nine digits were sharply amputed near the proximal phalanx, so a replantation team of 8 surgeons in alternating fashion replanted all ten and nine digits over 30 hours and each patient received 28 pints of whole blood during the procedure. Under general anesthesia, replantatin of both started simultaneously. All digits survived completely except partial necosis of right little finger in case 1. The ischemic time of each digit ranged from 4 hours and 45 minutes to 31 hours as shown in table 5. The long ischemic time did not criticaly affected the survival of amputated digit. Follow-up was from 12 months to 20 months postoperatively. The functional evaluation revealed as follows: 1. The grasping power ranged 13 lb to 65 lb(average;39.7lb) 2. The pinching power with index finger ranged 5 lb to 15 lb(average:10.2 lb) 3. The palm to pulp distance ranged 0 cm to 6 cm.(average;2.2cm) 4. The two point discrimination ranged 2.5mm to 22mm.(average;7.8mm) 5. The shape of digits were acceptable aesthetically. 6. All 4 patients were able to use both hands well in all activities of daily living.

      • 대퇴골 경부 골절 불유합의 압박 동종 해면골이식술 및 대퇴방형근육경 골이식술

        목적 : 대퇴골 경부 골절 불유합의 치료로서, 골흡수 부위의 압박 동종골 이식술 및 대퇴방형근육경골이식술을 시행하여 임상적 치료의 경험을 보고하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : 1998년 3월부터 1999년 4월 까지 대퇴경부의 골절 환자 중, 비관혈적 도수정복 및 다발성 핀 삽입술을 시행 받은 후 발생한 불유합으로 인하여 본원에 내원한 5예의 환자를 대상으로 골흡수 부위의 압박 동종골 이식술 및 대퇴방형근육경 골이식술을 시행하였다. 주시기간은 36개월에서 48개월이었으며 평균 추시 기간은 40개월 이었다. 추시 결과의 분석은 Lunceford 등의 평가와 방사선학적 검사를 3개월 간격으로 시행하여 골유합 여부를 확인하였다. 결과 : 36개월에서 48개월동안 관찰결과 모든 예에서 성공적인 골유합을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 술후 4예에서 모두 14주에, 나머지 1예에서 6개월에 방사선상 골유합의 진행소견을 보여주고 있으며 수술 18개월후 방사선상 추시에서 완전한 골유합을 보이고 있었으며 임상적결과 또한 모두 우수 한 결과를 보여주고 있었다. 결론 : 대퇴경부골절 불유합의 치료로서 골흡수 부위의 압박 동종골 이식술 및 대퇴방형근육경 골이식술을 시행하는 술식은 골다공증이 상대적으로 심하지 않은 연령대에서, 대퇴골두를 보존하는 장점이 있어 대퇴골 경부골절 불유합을 치료하는 수술중 하나가 될 수 있을 것이다. Purpose : The aim of this study was attempted to evaluate the effects of impacted cancellous allograft and quadratus femoris pedicle bone graft in the management of nonunion of femur neck fracture. Materials and Methods : Between March 1998 and April 1999, 5 patients, rating from 36 to 45 years of age, were treated with impacted cancellous allograft and quadratus femoris pedicle bone graft and all cases were nonunion with closed reduction and multiple pinning. The duration of follow-up was from 36 months to 48 months and the mean follow-up period was 40 months. Clinical evalution was done according to Lunceford functional results and radiologically bone union was evaluated by 3 monthly X-ray check. Results : After follow-up from 36 months to 48 months, all cases resulted in the bone union. Four cases, radiologically bone union was progressed during 14 weeks, and the other, obtained at 6 months. All cases, at 18 months, radiologically complaints pain and instability. Conclusion : For patients with nonunion of femoral neck ftacture, impacted cancellous allograft and quadratus femoris pedicle bone graft was provide a good result of union.

      • 고분자 특성분석에 의한 케이블 사고분석

        The characterization and AC breakdown test for identifying a cause of premature failure of 7 URD power cables which failed during service are presented in this paper. The failed cables used for more than 10 years showed that the main cause of failure was water tree growth due to the water penetration. Almost trees grown from interface between insulation shield and insulation layer. Especially, there was a close relation between water tree length and content of ionic impurities. On the other hand, the failed cable used for less than 1 year has protrusion and void at the same position. From this, it can be concluded that the main cause of premature failure was the defects from manufacturing processes. In order to prevent the premature failure of URD cable, it is needed to improve the service environment, raw materials and manufacturing process.

      • 한글대장경 웹 검색 시스템의 구현

        본 연구는 한글대장경 전산화 6차 사업으로 한글대장경 30책 분량을 전산화하여 검색 시스템을 구축하는데 목적이 있다. 고려대장경의 우리말 번역본인 한글대장경을 전산화하기 위해 개역된 고문헌을 입력하여 데이터베이스로 구축하고, 인터넷을 통해 그 내용을 검색할 수 있도록 한다. 한글대장경 고문헌은 확장한자, 누락문자, 특수문자 등을 포함하고 있어서, 본 연구에서는 효과적인 입력과 저장을 위해 유니코드(Unicode)를 사용하며, 유니코드로 표현하지 못하는 문자들은 이미지 폰트를 생성하여 표현한다. 데이터베이스를 구축하기 위해서 DBMS로는 MS-SQL 7.0을 사용하고, 운영체제로는 윈도우 2000 서버를, 웹 서버로는 IIS(Internet Information Server)를 사용하여 검색 시스템을 구축하였다. 또한 다양한 검색 방법을 제공하는 검색 엔진을 개발하여, 유니코드로 저장된 한글대장경 고문헌의 내용을 웹(http://ebtc.dongguk.ac.kr/)을 통해 보다 쉽게 전 세계에서 접근할 수 있도록 한다. This research aims for constructing retrieval system by digitizing thirty books quantities of Hangul Tripitaka in the 6th Hangul Tripitaka Digitization Project. For digitizing Hangul Tripitaka which is a Korean version of the Tripitaka Korean, we can input, store the retranslated archaic documents in database, and search their contents through the Internet. Because the archaic documents of Hangul Tripitaka includes extension characters of Chinese origin, missing characters and special characters, we input and store documents use Unicode and make image fonts that cannot be represented by Unicode. Also, for developing retrieval system in this research, we use MS-SQL 7.0 and IIS(Internet Information Server) on Windows 2000 Server. By developing search engine which provides variety of retrieval methods, people who concern the archaic documents in the whole world can access Hangul Tripitaka saved as Unicode using the Web.
