문화 산업 간 상호 유기성이 주목받고 있는 가운데 명품 브랜드가 상업적인 목적을 넘어서 미술관이라는 장소성과 결합한 것은 문화 예술 산업의 확장과 예술의 대중화와 밀접한 관련이 있다. 이에 대해 본 연구는 미술관 전시분야에서 트렌드로 등장하고 있는 브랜드-미술관 전시에 대해 살펴보고 명품 패션 브랜드 전시를 중심으로 유형을 분류하여 사례와 함께 분석하였다. 디올(Dior)과 에르메스(Hermes), 루이비통(Louis Vuitton) 전시 사례를 전시주제에 따라 대분류한 후, 그 안에서 전시목적과 전시내용으로 소분류하여 전시가 어떻게 구현되었는지 비교분석하였으며 이를 바탕으로 각 유형별 특징과 향후 명품 패션 브랜드-미술관이 나아가야할 지향점에 대해 논의하였다. 기존 문헌 고찰과 사례분석을 통해 이 같은 전시는 단순한 마케팅 전략으로서 타산적인 시장 경제에 편승하는 현상이 아닌 문화적인 흐름에 조우하는 현상으로서 하나의 콘텐츠를 생산하는 과정으로 볼 수 있었다. 또한 브랜드-미술관 전시가 어떤 식의 형태로 구현되었든 전시 유형에 따라 제품의 미적 가치를 중시하거나, 상황을 재현하여 경험의 기회를 확대했다는 점에서 그 나름대로의 의의를 발견할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 브랜드-미술관 전시는 오늘날 융·복합이 강조되는 시대에 브랜드와 미술관의 부가가치 상승과 함께 대중과의 소통을 시도하며 새로운 문화와 가치, 의미를 만들어가고 있다고 볼 수 있다. While mutually organic characteristic of culture is being highlighted, luxury brands which is trying to combine with placeness of museum bound up with the expansion and democratization of the arts and cultural industry. This study analyzed the characteristics of luxury brand exhibitions at museums, types and cases. First, exhibitions were categorized into retrospect and themes exhibitions and classified into exhibition"s purpose and content through the case study of Dior, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton. Base on these classification, this study discussed the features by types and future direction of luxury fashion brand exhibitions at museums. Through the literature review and cases analysis, brand exhibitions at museums should be seen as joining a cultural flow to create contents rather than simply pursuing their economic outcome. Also, such exhibitions were meaningful in different ways regardless of any forms that brand exhibitions at museums focused on highlighting its products or reproduced its products by using various visual effects. In conclusion, brands exhibitions at museums can be seen as making new culture, values and meanings in days of convergence by communicating with the public also with creating additional value to brands and museums.
Analysis of Soil Total Nitrogen and Inorganic Nitrogen Content for Evaluating Nitrogen Dynamics

Various methods for assessing soil total nitrogen (TN) and inorganic N content have been developed to manage nutrient and to understand N cycle in soil. This paper address the technical procedures in arable soil samples to conduct soil sampling, sample preparation, and measuring total N and inorganic N. Among various methods for measuring soil total nitrogen contents, Kjeldahl distillation and Indophenol blue method have widely used due to reliability and economic advances. Also, two methods can analyze more samples at the same time compared with other nitrogen measuring methods. For evaluating inorganic N content, mainly in forms of nitrate-N (NO₃<SUP>-</SUP>-N) and ammonium-N (NH₄<SUP>+</SUP>-N), extraction with a single reagent such as 2M KCl has been employed, followed by Kjeldahl distillation or indophenol blue methods.

Korea and Japan with Highest Agricultural Nutrient Balances Among OECD Countries

Excessive nutrient balance is a very crucial issue for environmental hazards. The constant addition of high-amounts of nutrient sources in agricultural production generates negative environmental conditions in Korea and Japan yet to be resolved. Therefore, it is obligatory to comprehend the nutrient (nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P)) balance that is assessed by the difference between nutrient input and output in the soil surface in Korea and Japan. Among 34 Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries, Korea and Japan had the highest N and P balances and thus both countries are primarily responsible for severe environmental pollution via nutrient release. The cultivable land area in both countries has constantly decreased during 1990 to 2017 at approximately 20 and 15% in Korea and Japan, respectively. Even N and P use efficiency sharply decreased with increasing N and P balance in both targeted countries. Japanese P balance, Korean N and P balances were decreased after the mid-1990s whereas, Japanese N balance almost unchanged for the last 28 years. Unlike chemical fertilizer input, Korean manure input level significantly increased from 78 kg N ha<SUP>-1</SUP> in 1990 to 157 kg N ha<SUP>-1</SUP> in 2017. Japanese manure input level was higher than that of chemical fertilizer without any big change for the last 28 years. The lion share of high N and P balance in both countries could generate from manure inputs, therefore, the number of livestock and their produced debris need to be used with more cautious for the reduction of national N and P surpluses at a benchmark level. These findings ensure to make a more environment friendly policy that can further reduce nutrient balance as well as improve soil health.
Effects of Water Deficit and UV-B Radiation on Accumulation of Functional Metabolites in Crops

With increasing social concerns for healthy food, the studies on the cultivation of crops to increase accumulation of functional metabolites in crops have been investigated. Accumulation of the metabolites in crops is highly affected by various types of stress, such as nutrient deficiency, water deficit (WD), extreme temperature and UV-B radiation as well as their own life cycle. This review summarizes the previous studies on the effects of environmental stresses, especially WD and UV-B radiation, on accumulation of functional metabolites in crops. UV-B radiation and WD during specific period (mainly at maturation stage) activates the adaptation and/or defense system in crops, thereby increasing biosynthesis of the metabolites. Although WD and UV-B radiation tend to decrease in crop yield, the decrease can be compensated by the production of high value crops having high content of functional metabolites.
