        This study was performed to point some problems that teachers meet when they teach the experiments with high school biology I textbooks and also to suggest the solution. The results are as follow. Because of the lack of the detailed explanations on the 'method' (for example, the method of making the reagent and its concentration, the magnifying scale of the microscope), it is difficult for the teacher to guide the students to get the exact results. And the lack of diagrams, figures, and pictures with which the results are to be compared makes it difficult to judge the credibility of the result. Furthermore for a number of the experiment, it is not possible to get the results within 50 minutes. It is desirable to replace them with the plausible ones.

        윤상 다륜형 아급성 피부 홍반성 루푸스 1예

        We report an annular type of subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus(SCLE) which is rare in Korea, A 23-year-old female had erythematous annular rashes with a mild itching sensation on the face, trunk and both extremities. She also had painless oral mucosal ulceration, diffuse hair loss and mild arthralgia. Serologic abnormalities of the patient were positive anti-Ro Ab, ANA and Anti-ds-DNA Ab. The histopathologic findings showed vacuolar degenerations in the basal cell layer, mononuclear cell infiltrate in the upper dermis, and dermal edema. Direct IF revealed granular deposition of IgG and IgA at the dermo-epidennal junction.

        This research aims to provide a groundwork for the development of an entrepreneurship program by examining the entrepreneurial characteristics of those who are preparing for family entrepreneurship and their preferences in entrepreneurship training according to social and demographical traits, such as sex, age and level of education. Survey respondents for this research were made up of 383 individuals living in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, regardless of age, excluding 47 problematic individuals. In order to analyze the collected data, various statistical methods such as frequency, percentage, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test and Crosstabs were used. In relation to starting up an entrepreneurship, respondents who were male, had a monthly income between 3,110,000 to 4,500,000 won, and had a low level of education preferred restaurant and hotel businesses. Respondents who were single females and had a monthly income of over 4,510,000 won preferred service businesses and those who were in their 30's and had a monthly income of over 4,510,000 won preferred internet-related businesses. Respondents who were college graduates in their 30's preferred having two jobs. Those with an educational level below middle school in their 30's showed a correlation between their views on entrepreneurship and their latest jobs. This research tries to contribute to the development of educational programs specifically suitable for pre family entrepreneurs, based on its findings according to social and demographical traits.

        전악 치근단 방사선사진 촬영시 촬영조건에 따른 흡수선량 변화에 대한 연구

        This study was designed to meansure the absorbed dose to organs of special interest from full mouth with intraoral film(14 films) and to compare the five periapical techniques. Thermoluminescent crystals(TLD-100 chip) were located in brain, orbit, bone marrow of mandibular ramus, bone marrow of mandibular body, bone marrow of 4th cervical spine, parotid gland, submandibular gland and thyroid gland. X-ray machine was operated at 70kVp and round collimating film holding device(XCP) and rectangular collimating film holding device(Precision Instrument) were used. The distance from the X-ray focus to the open end of the collimator was 8 inch, 12 inch and 16 inch. The results were as follows : 1. The absorbed does was the highest in bone marrow of mandibular body(5.656mGy) and the lowest in brain(0.050mGy). 2. Generally, the lowest absorbed does was measured from 16 inch cylinder, rectangular collimating film holding device with paralleing technique. But, in bone marrow of mandibular body and the floor of mouth, the highest absorbed does was measured from 12 inch cylinder, rectangular collimating film holding device with paralleling techniques. 3. Comparing of five intraoral radiographic techniques, it was appeared statistically significant reduction of the absorbed does measured with rectangular collimating film holding device compared to XCP film holding device (P<0.05). 4. No statistically significant reduction in the absorbed does was found as cylinder length was changed(P>0.05).

        In this study, physiological responses and subjective sensations were investigated depending on various high school girls' lower cloth uniform in winter. Four healthy young women were selected, and they wore same underwear and jacket. The types of lower cloth were tight skirt+stocking, flared skirt+stocking, tight skirt+legings+socks, flared skirt+legings+socks, and slacks+socks. The results were as follows: 1) The effect of the type of lower cloth in winter on the skin temperature, humidity inside clothing and subjective sensations were significant. 2) It is desirable for high school girls to wear slacks in winter, Since physiological responses and subjective sensations of slacks are superior to those of skirts. 3) It is desirable for high school girls to wear flared skirt, legings, socks in winter, Since insulation and subjective sensations of flared skirts are superior to those of tight skirts.

      • 버섯중 철이온에 활성화된 광감응성 Mitochondrial ATPase에 관한 연구

        표고버섯중 광감응성 mitochondrial F?-ATPase는 Fe?, Fe? 및 M? 이온에 의하여 각각 활성화 되었으며 5.0mM Fe? 이온에 의한 상대활성도는 대조구에 비하여 107% 증가되었다. Mg? 존재하에서 Fe? 및 Fe? 각 이온 농도효과는 모두 효소의 활성을 증가 시켰으나 0.1mM Mg?과 5.0mM Fe? 이온의 공존하에서 170%를 증가시켜 Mg? 이온에 의한 상승작용을 보였다. 0.1mM Mg?과 0.1mM Fe? 존재하에서 Fe? 이온 농도효과는 그 농도가 5.0mM일 때 168%의 활성도 증가를 보여 Fe? 이온 공존 효과는 없었다. 이 효소는 Mg? 및 Fe? 이온에 으하여 활성화되는 특성을 가지고 있으며 활성 금속이온 존재하에서 측정한 최적 pH 및 온도는 각 각 7.5 및 66℃였다. The effects of the iron on the light-induced mitochondrial F?-ATPase in Lentinus edodes was studied. This enzyme activity was stimulated by each of the ferric, ferrous and magnesium ion. Especially, the activity of the enzyme by 5.0mF ferric ion increased up to 107% in comparision with control group(100%). In the presence of magnesium ion, each of ferric and ferrous ion increased the activity of the enzyme, particulary, coexistence of 0.1mM magnesium and 5.0mM ferric ion increased the activity up to 270% with magnesium ion dependence. The activity of the enzyme was stimulated up to 268% by 5.0mM ferric ionin the presence of 0.1mM magnesium and 0.1mM ferrous ion. Therefore, the coexistence of ferrous ion did not affect the activity. From the above, we propose that the light-induced mitochondrial F?-ATPase in L. edodes is a Mg?·Fe? f?-ATPase. The optimal pH and temperature for the enzyme were 7.5 and 66℃, respectively.

      • 견/합성섬유 혼방품의 일욕염색(Ⅵ) : 산성염료/분산염료 염욕에서의 견/셀룰로오스 트리아세테이트의 염착거동 Adsorption Behavior of Acid Dyes/Disperse Dyes on Silk/Cellulose Triacetate

        In one bath dyeing system of silk/cellulose triacetate(triactate) fiber blend fabric with acid/disperse dyes, adsorption behvior of acid dyes and disperse dyes on silk and triactate fabrics were examined. In the dyeing of triactate with the C.I. Disperse Red 19(Red 19) and the C.I. Disperse Red 60(Red 60) at 100℃, dye uptake with the Red 19 was higher than that with the Red 60. When the silk/triaceetate was dyed with Red 19 and the Red 60 at 100℃, dye uptake on triacetate was influenced by affinity of the dye to the silk fabric dyed together. In the treatment of the silk fabric dyed with the Red 19 and Red 60 in desorption bath with and without undyed triacetate, desorption of the dyes from the silk fabric was influenced by the affinity of the dyes to the triacetate. When the silk/triacetate was dyed with the Blue 80/Red 19 and Red 60 at 100℃, color of triacetate dyed with the Red 19 and Red 60 was not influenced by the Blue 80 but silk dyed with the Blue 80 was influenced by the Red 19.

        경구용 속방성 성형제품의 허가 후 변경사항을 다루는 SUPAC-IR에 대한 검토

        The objective of this study was to provide a better understanding of SUPAC-IR and its application in handling postapproval changes to immediate release solid oral dosage forms. Originally, SUPAC-IR was aimed at reducing the regulatory burdern of the industry when they were making postapproval changes, but still at maintaining the formulation quality and performance of a drug product. The postapproval changes that were covered under SUPAC-IR included variations in the components and composition of formulation, the site of manufacturing, batch size, manufacturing equipment, and manufacturing process. The guidance defined levels of changes, based on the likelihood of risk ocurrence and potential impact of postapproval changes upon the safety and efficacy of a drug product. It suggested what a type of filling report should be submitted to the FDA for each level of change. Chemistry, manufacturing, and control tests to be executed were also recommended for each change level. The important tests specified in the guidance included batch release, stability, in vitro dissolution, and in vivo bioequivalence tests. However, there have been strong demands on revising the current SUPAC-IR in order to resolve some issues and to improve its usefulness in evaluating postapproval changes to immediate release solid oral dosage forms. In particular, the rigorous requirement of case C dissolution test and the definition of batch size were challenged by both academia and the industry. A revision work was in progress to reflect these inputs and to expand the utility of SUPAC-IR. As a result of these concerted efforts, an updated 2nd version of SPAC-IR would be likely to be issued very soon to the public.

        경구용 서방성/지연성 성형제품의 허가 후 변경사항 관리를 위한 SUPAC-MR 응용

        The objective of this study was to scrutinize the rationale of SUPAC-MR and its application in processing postapproval changes to modified release solid oral dosage forms. The types of postapproval changes that were primarily covered with SUPAC-MR included variations in the components and composition, the site of manufacturing, batch size, manufacturing equipment, and manufacturing process. SUPAC-MR defined levels of postapproval changes that the industry might make. Classification of such categories was based on the likelihood of risk occurrence and potential impact of changes upon the safety and efficacy of approved drug products. In most cases, the changes could be classified into 3 levels. It described what chemistry, manufacturing, and control tests should be conducted for each change level. The important tests specified in SUPAC-MR were batch release, stability, in vitro dissolution, and in vivo bioequivalence tests. It then suggested what type of a filing report should be submitted to the FDA for each change level. In general, level 1 changes could be reported in an annual report, whereas level 2 and/or 3 changes could be submitted in changes-being-effected or prior approval supplements. It could be understood that the purpose of SUPAC-MR was to maintain the safety and quality of approved modified release solid oral dosage forms undergoing certain changes. At the same time, it contributed to providing a less burdensome regulatory process with the manufacturers when they wanted to make postapproval changes. European regulatory agencies also implemented SUPAC-like regulations in handling such changes to drug products. Therefore, in this study a recommendation was made for KFDA and the Korean industry to evaluate thoroughly the usefulness of these guidances and regulations in dealing with postapproval changes to modified release solid oral dosage forms.
