      • 감마선 조사와 저장 기간에 따른 건멸치류의 품질 및 열발광 특성

        건멸치의 위생적 품질개선을 위한 감마선 조사가 품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였으며, 아울러 감마선 조사 멸치에 대한 검지법으로서 열발광 특성을 분석하였다. 건멸치류의 미생물 오염도는 총세균이 10^4∼10^6 CFU/g 수준으로 건멸치의 종류에 따라 큰 차이를 보였으며, 대장균군은 모든 시료에서 음성으로 나타났다. 미생물학적 품질개선을 위한 3kGy 수준의 감마선 조사는 유통조건(식품포장용 PVC film, 0.06 ㎜, 500 g)으로 포장하여 6개월 저장(15±1℃) 후에도 검출한계이하(20 CFU/g)의 수준을 유지할 수 있었다. 저장 중 건멸치의 기계적색도(L, a, b, ΔE ), 갈색도, TBA가, VBN, TMA-N, 관능적 특성 등 건멸치의 품질에 관련된 여러 인자들은 3 kGy의 감마선 조사에 의해 거의 영향을 받지 않았다. 그러나 저장기간에 따른 영향은 매우 크게 나타났으며, 이는 저장온도와 포장조건의 중요성을 뒷받침해 주었다. 건멸치의 방사선 조사 여부 확인을 위한 열발광 특성을 분석해 본 결과, 비조사구는 280∼300℃ 부근에서 매우 낮은 peak를 나타내었고, 1 kGy 이상의 감마선 조사구는 200℃ 전후에서 조사선량에 의존적(R^2=0.9933)인 높은 glow curve를 나타내어 감마선 조사 건멸치의 판별이 가능하였고, - 20℃에서 6개월간 저장 후에도 검지가 가능하였다. The effect of gamma irradiation was investigated on the microbiological and physicochemical qualities of boiled-dried anchovies (large- and smallsized) packed in PVC film (0.06 ㎜) during storage at 15±1℃ for 6 months. On the other hand, thermoluminescence characteristics of minerals extracted from the sample were analyzed to evaluated its possibility in detecting the irradiated anchovies. The samples were contaminated by microbial levels of 104∼106 CFU/g in total aerobic bacterial counts and negative in coliforms, which were different depending on the sample sizes. Gamma irradiation at 3 kGy was effective for improving the hygienic quality of both samples for 6 months, keeping the microbial population less than 20 CFU/g. Besides it was not detrimental to the quality attributes, such as instrumental color parameters (L, a, b, ΔE ), browning, TBA value, volatile basic nitrogen, trimethylamine-N, and sensory properties(appearance, color, odor, taste, overall acceptability). However, storage conditions (time, temperature, packing) showed a critical factor influencing the quality changes of dried anchovies. Thermoluminscence analysis was prove to distinguish irradiated from non-irradiated anchovies by comparing both temperature at which glow curves appear and the curve intensity, that was possible even after 6 months at -20℃.

        To investigate the effects of the anti-cancer drug (CY, γ-IFN) and ginseng saponin components on the rat immunocytes treated with hepatocarcinogen, the γ-GT(gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase) activity in rat liver homogenates and the amounts of α-FP( alpha-fetoprotein) in peripheral blood system were assayed. And the tumoricidal activities of peritoneal Mφ of mouse preinjected with cancer cells were assayed in vitro. The amount of α-FP using anti-α-FP antibody in peripheral blood system was undetectable and the γ-GT activity was decreased as much as 60% by ginseng saponin and the anti-cancer drug. In the early stage of cancer development those agents suppressed effectively the proliferation of transformated cell into tumor cell and resulted in an increase of tumoricidal activities through the activiation of Mφ in vitro. The above results suggest that the decrease of γ-GT activity in liver homogenates and the disappearance of alpha fetoprotein in peripheral blood system resulted (rom the elimination of precancerous cell through the potentiation of Mφ by ginseng saponin

      • DSP 인버터에 의한 편측식 선형 유도전동기의 비간섭제어

        We proposed the speed control of the inverter-fed SLIM(Single-sided Linear Induction Motor) for conveyance system by the decoupled thrust control with DSP board. The voltage equations of SLIM are expressed on the suitable α-β axis by the proposed equivalent circuits, which can analyze the characteristics of the thrust and the normal force and so on. These control methods, which are the slip angular frequency control and the decoupling control for the thrust and normal force by analyzing these parameters can be successfully driven without interfering of each axis. These results exemplified the linear drive of SLIM with the reference value.

      • 반송용 편측식 선형기기의 추력제어에 의한 특성해석

        본 논문에서는 PWM 인버터 구동 편측식 선형유도 전동기(이하 SLIM)의 공간백터 제어와 PI 제어를 통한 추력 제어를 행한다. 1차측 권선과 SLIM의 2차측 구조 사이에서 발생하는 공극길이의 떨림은 빠른 응답특성을 얻기위해서 최소화 되어야 한다. 먼저, SLIM의 전압방정식이 추력과 수직력 특성을 해석하기 위하여 d-q축 등가회로로서 나타내어진다. 또한, d-q축 등가회로의 모델링과 해석은 등가회로상에서 전류변동에 따른 강인한 과도 추력특성을 얻을 수 있다. 지령속도와 추력에 의한 SLIM의 직접구동 결과는 실험을 통해서 확인된다.

        Recently deep interests and attractions have been paid on the generation of ozone with environment polisy. Especially, which is widely used to remove bad smell and to clear water. This paper presents control and performance of a voltage source IGBT inverter developed for silent corona discharge type ozonizer. And proposed addition circuit for maintain discharge the center of in the airgap. In this paper, schemed equivalent electric circuit of the discharge eletrode for simulation. Finally, the effectiveness of this discharge tube character of ozonizer is investigated in the simulation and experimental results.

        In this study, we proposed high efficiency wind power generator system for induction generator used SVPWM swiching inverter. First, we propose equivalient circuit for induction generator, it's characteristics equation, and power equation of slip. In addition, we suggest pick Power Traction Slip control methods, adapted variable wind power system. We study simulation result for the proposed system and output power by slip effect. and we identify SVPWM of suitable wind power system by comparison between SPWM and SVPWM Consequently, we show tat the system control result form variable wind power is suitable.

        <P>The Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway regulates various aspects of development and plays important role in human carcinogenesis. Nemo-like kinase (NLK), which is mediator of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, phosphorylates T-cell factor/lymphoid enhancer factor (TCF/LEF) factor and inhibits interaction of β-catenin/TCF complex. Although, NLK is known to be a tumor suppressor in Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway of colon cancer, the other events occurring downstream of NLK pathways in other types of cancer remain unclear. In the present study, we identified that expression of NLK was significantly up-regulated in the HCCs compared to corresponding normal tissues in five selected tissue samples. Immunohistochemical analysis showed significant over-expression of NLK in the HCCs. Targeted-disruption of NLK suppressed cell growth and arrested cell cycle transition. Suppression of NLK elicited anti-mitogenic properties of the Hep3B cells by simultaneous inhibition of cyclinD1 and CDK2. The results of this study suggest that NLK is aberrantly regulated in HCC, which might contribute to the mitogenic potential of tumor cells during the initiation and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma; this process appears to involve the induction of CDK2 and cyclin D1 and might provide a novel target for therapeutic intervention in patients with liver cancer.         Decreased expression of TFF2 and gastric carcinogenesis

        The trefoil factor family (TFF) of peptides, which are protease-resistant and have a strong affinity for mucins, play an important role in gastrointestinal mucosal protection and restitution. Prior studies have indicated that dysregulation of TFF2 was associated with cell migration, resistance to apoptosis, and gastric cancer invasion; however, the underlying mechanism associated with these actions remains unclear. Thus, to investigate the relationship between TFF2 and carcinogenesis in gastric cancer, TFF2 expression was analyzed by Western blot analysis in nine selected gastric cancer tissues and immunohistochemical staining was performed in paraffin-embedded samples from 157 gastric cancers. A reduced TFF2 expression was observed by Western blot analysis in the gastric cancer tissues. However, there was no significant difference in the TFF2 expression according to clinical and pathological parameters of the gastric cancers. To investigate the biological role of TFF2 in the development and progression of gastric cancer, a TFF2 expression plasmid was constructed for in vitro experiments of function. Introduction of TFF2 cDNA into a gastric cancer cell line did not affect tumor cell growth, cell migration or invasion. In conclusion, down-regulation of TFF2 in gastric cancer cells and restoration of TFF2 did not affect the tumorigenic potential of gastric cancer cells in vitro. The loss of TFF2 expression might be an early event of the multi-step process of gastrocarcinogenesis and may play a limited role in the mucosal protection of the normal gastric physiology.

      • Characteristic molecular signature for early detection and prediction of persistent organic pollutants in rat liver.

        <P>Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) are degradation-resistant anthropogenic chemicals that accumulate in the food chain and in adipose tissue, and are among the most hazardous compounds ever synthesized. However, their toxic mechanisms are still undefined. To investigate whether characteristic molecular signatures can discriminate individual POP and provide prediction markers for the early detection of POPs exposure in an animal model, we performed transcriptomic analysis of rat liver tissues after exposure to POPs. The six different POPs (toxaphene, hexachlorobenzene, chlordane, mirex, dieldrin, and heptachlor) were administered to 11-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats, and after 48 h of exposure, RNAs were extracted from liver tissues and subjected to rat whole genome expression microarrays. Early during exposure, conventional toxicological analysis including changes in the body and organ weight, histopathological examination, and blood biochemical analysis did not reflect any toxicant stresses. However, unsupervised gene expression analysis of rat liver tissues revealed in a characteristic molecular signature for each toxicant, and supervised analysis identified 2708 outlier genes that discerned the POPs exposure group from the vehicle-treated control. Combination analysis of two different multiclassifications suggested 384 genes as early detection markers for predicting each POP exposure with 100% accuracy. The data from large-scale gene expression analysis of a different POP exposure in rat model suggest that characteristic expression profiles exist in liver hepatic cells and multiclassification of POP-specific molecular signatures can discriminate each toxicant at an early exposure time. The use of these molecular markers may be more widely implemented in combination with more traditional techniques for assessment and prediction of toxicity exposure to POPs from an environmental aspect.</P>
