        The purpose of this study is to analysis of disposition distance of city park for the plan of suitable arrangement of city park based on the date examining Daegu Metropolitan City. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The result of analysis of population density as the case of districts, it appeared highly in city center area which Seo-Gu district and Nam-Gu district besides Jung-Gu district. However, it apperared in a low Buk-Gu district, Dong-Gu district and Salseong-Gun. 2) The result of analysis of population density as the case of regions, it appeared very highly Joukjun-Dong of Dalseo-Gu district(31,554per/㎢), Naedang-Dong of Seo-Gu district(29,922per/㎢). However it appeared in a low YeugaoMaen(85per/㎢) and Gachang-Maen(94per/㎢) of Dalseong-Gun. The regions where the population density is high have very low green space and live a lot of low income layer. 3) The result of analysis of disposition distance, in the case of children park, it appeared an intensive distribution in Dongcheon-Dong and Guam-Dong of Buk-Gu district, Whanggm-Dong and Dusan-Dong of Suseong-Gu district, Sangin-Dong and Yeongasn-Dong and Walsung-Dong of Dalseo-Gu district. however, it appeared in a low in Jung-Gu district. The case of urban park of the neighboring area, it appeared the most in Dalseo-Gu district except 2 parks in Jung-Gu district, the case of urban park of the walking area, it apperared in equality in city. 4) In conclusion, the area have population density and lots of low income layer, is in out of disposition distance should be considered in first for city park plan.

        법랑종양 기저세포암 1예

        Basal cell carcinoma(BCC) exists in great variety. Adamantinoid BCC is one of the rare types of BCC. Histologically, the tumor masses are surrounded by a layer of cells in which the nuclei tend to palisade. Inside this layer, the tumor masses consist of cells with elongated nuclei and stellate cytoplasm stretched as thin, connection bridges across empty spaces, producing adamantinoid appearance. We report a case of adamantinoid BCC in a 49 year-old woman who had a single, asymptomatic, dusky erythematous to black colored nodule on her right jaw area. (Korean J Dermatol 2003;41(3) : 380∼382)

        Patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) are known to be more susceptible to tuberculosis infection due to impairment of the host defense mechanism. Although extrapulmonary tuberculosis is more prevalent in those subjects and it may induce dismal outcome, its diagnosis has been challenging since there is no specific symptoms of the disease and the clinical course is usually atypical. Herein, We report a case of disseminated tuberculosis diagnosed by ultrasound-guided liver biopsy in a 31-year-old CRF patient presenting sustained fever despite broad-spectrum antimicrobial therapy and progressive cholestatic jaundice.

        There was not the evident analysis about the cutting process of CNC machining, and wouldn't be difficult to estimate the result of machining for the various cutting conditions. Therefore they were not founded the systemic technology about the optimum cutting conditions and selection of cutting tools. So this study have investigated the common facts for needs through the end-mill cutting machining by Machining-Centers or High-speed cutting machines, and developed the user-centered intelligent decision system to selection of the methodology about cutting conditions to improve the machining efficiency of end-mill cutting process.

      • 자연형 하천복원계획 수립을 위한 생물상 조사 및 분석

        The purpose of this study was a biota research and analysis for Close-to-nature stream restoration planning of Shinchun. The summary of this study is as follows; 1) The vascular plants in research area recorded of 45 species and insect fauna recorded of 34 species of 8 orders. As a result of table of community classification, the communities were two group; Quercus variabilis community(I), Pinus densiflora-Quercus variabilis-Quercus dentata community(II). 2) As a result of analysis on correlation of tree species, the level of significance in positive correlation between Quercus dentata and Corylus heterophyll aindicated 1% and between Pinus densiflora and Lespedeza bicolor also indicated 1%. 3) As a result of DBH analysis, it is expected that Quercus variabilis and Quercus dentata will dominateover other species in competition and its succession continuously maintains from now on in community I. In community II, it is assumed that there is a high possibility of changing into community of Quercus such as Quercus mongolica, Quercus dentata, and Quercus variabilis. 4) As a result of analysis on insect fauna, insect fauna consists of 94% of whole species as 32 species, 23 families, 8 orders. And 7 species, 7 families 4 orders was found in highly urbanized area, the vicinity of Sang-Dong bridge. 5) As mentioned above, Based on A biota fundamental research, Close-to-nature stream restoration planning were full of suggestions: i) Designating ecosystem preservation area, ii) Making Close-to-nature stream revetments, iii) Making pool-and-riffle, vi) Making decks for observation and walks for nature experience, v) Creating wetland biotope. Through these methods, it is necessary to promote bio-diversity and lead people to the space for eco-learning.

      • 곰팡이 오염된 사료를 섭취한 개에서 신부전과 calcium oxalate-like crystal

        In March and July 2004, 2-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier and 7-year-old female Shih-Tzu were referred to the College of Veterinary Medicine, Chungnam National University. Clinically, two dogs showed anorexia, vomiting and emaciation. The signs had occurred after the dogs were fed diets infected with oxalate-producing fungi. At necropsy, Shih Tzu had severe renal damage with the green-yellowish colored uroliths in the renal pelvis and the both kidneys were extremely reduced in sizes. Microscopically, Yorkshire Terrier had acute nephritis contained necrotized and degenerated tubular epithelial cells in cortex. Numerous calcium oxalate-like crystals were infiltrated into most tubules, especially the proximal convoluted tubules. Shih Tzu showed chronic nephritis with nephrosclerosis displaced by fibrous connective tissue in most areas. The glomeruli had undergone all stages of variation such as degeneration and fibrosis.

      • 푸마르산으로부터 숙신산 생물전환을 위한 Enterococcus faecalis RKY1 균체의 포괄담체에 의한 고정화

        The Enterococcus faecalis RKY1 cells were immobilized within the polymer matrices such as agar, Ca-alginate, and k -carrageenan in order to investigate bioconversion characteristics of immobilized Enterococcus faecalis RKY1. Agar and k-carrageenan gels were prepared for cubic type, and Ca-alginate gels for bead type. When the seed volume of immobilized cells was adjusted to 10%(v/v), the optimum concentrations of agar, sodium alginate, and k -carrageenan for immo- bilization of Enterococcus faecalis RKY1 cells were 2%(w/v) for all. In this condition, the conversion ratios were 93.6, 96.4, 76.5%, respectively. Immobilized cells entrapped in agar, Ca-alginate, and k -carrageenan have all the optimum pH of 7.0. The optimum temperature of immobilized cells was 40℃ for agar gels, 35℃ for Ca-alginate gels, and 40℃ for k -carrageenan gels. Therefore, Ca-alginate gels were suitable for immobilization of Enterococcus faecalis RKY1 for succinate production.

        PCR을 이용한 국내 및 수입 축산물 유래 Listeria monocytogenes의 유전학적 분석연구

        One hundred-fifty two of Listeria strains were isolated from domestic chicken carcasses, a slaughter-houses from nationwide from 1996 to 1997 and imported livestock products from a ten foreign countries including the USA, China, France and Thailand. To substitute the laborious and time consuming procedures of clinical laboratory standard diagnostic methods, the rapid and specific multiplex PCR(M-PCR), which was designed to amplify a three kinds of genes simultaneously f3r specific detection and differentiation of L. monocytogenes(LM) by one step procedure, was established. The LM strains confirmed with M-PCR were analysed to their genetic diversities by RAPD using the two primers(D87 & MMTl), and also evaluated on their discriminatory abilities(na) between two primers. our study also conducted the REP-PCR and ERIC-PCR for evaluation of the possibility of REP and ERIC elements for genetic subtyping of LM strains. According to the REP-PCR and ERIC-PCR fingerprinting patterns, LM strains were divided into 7(ERIC-type) and 4(REP-type) major clusters at the relative clone cut off value of 80%. According to the computer analysis of PCR results using the GelCompar Ⅱ software, ERIC-PCR(DI=0.955) had expressed the most high discriminatory ability and followed by REP-PCR(DI=0.952), RAPD(D87; 0.954, MMT1; 0.937), in order. The combined analysis of the present PCR results was also expressed the reliable and useful discriminatory ability(DI=0.916). This study suggested that PCR based methods could be used as an reliable, reproducible, rapid, and highly discriminatory method for the genetic differentiation of genus Listeria.

      • 철 산화균(Thiobacillus ferrooxidans)을 이용한 황화수소 제거-온도변화에 따른 황화수소 제거효율변화

        Effects of temperature on hydrogen sulfide removal efficiency has been studied in this research. Two reactors which combined iron oxidization reactor and reduction reactor were manufactured. Iron oxidation reactor was used to oxidize Fe(II) to Fe(III) with Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and the hydrogen sulfide was oxidized to make element sulfur with the reduction of iron. The optimal temperature for the iron oxidation was 30℃ however that of iron reduction was 40℃. From this result, the optimal continuous operation conditions has been determined.
