Cystic Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma: A Case of Undergoing Endoscopic Thyroid Lobectomy

On ultrasonography, medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) shows hypoechogenicity, an irregular margin, a predominantly solid composition, and microcalcifications, similar to those observed in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). MTC presenting as a cystic lesion is rare, and endoscopic thyroidectomy can be performed for benign thyroid masses and early stage PTC, however it is inappropriate for MTC regardless of cystic change. The authors report a case of cystic MTC found after endoscopic thyroid lobectomy and provide a review of the literature on this topic.

정보통신산업 수출 및 가격변화의 파급효과 분석 : 2000년 산업연관표를 중심으로

산업연관분석 틀을 이용하여, 90년대 이후 급속한 성장을 이루어낸 정보통신산업의 최근 구조 변화를 개략적으로 묘사하였다 '95년과 '00년 산업연관표의 비교를 통해서 분석한 IT산업 구조변화의 특징을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 투입측면에서 중간재로서 IT산업의 역할이 보다 커졌다는 것이 다양한 지표로써 확인되어 부가가치 창출효과는 기대에 못 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 대신 수요측면에서는 투자수요와 수출수요가 IT산업 성장에 주도적인 역할을 하고 있다는 사실을 확인 할 수 있었다. 둘째, IT산업의 수입유발정도 및 수입의존도가 중가하고 있어 소재 및 부품의 국산화를 위한 지속적인 국내 연구개발 강화의 시급성을 재확인시키고 있다. 그러나 생산유발정도도 함께 증가하고 있고 수출의 증가율도 그에 못지 않게 높아서 수입유발 및 수입의존도에 대한 비판적 평가는 신숭을 기해야 할 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 수입가격의 변화가 미치는 파급효과는 크게 나타났다. 기기와 서비스의 경우 상당한 대조를 보였는데, 특히 부품 수입가격의 변화가 IT기기 부문에 커다란 파급효과를 가져왔다. 넷째, 환율의 변화는 대외경제에 민감한 IT산업의 특징을 반영하고 있었는데, 특히 부품에 미치는 파급효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다. IT 산업에서 부품의 생산 및 수출 비중은 예년에 비해 줄고 있지만, 위의 분석결과들은 아직까지도 IT산업의 중추적인 위치를 점하고 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다. This paper researches the recent structure changes of information technology industry which has grown rapidly since 1990's. The results with the comparison of 1995 and 2000 input-output table are the followings. First, the function of IT industry has increased as a intermediate goods in the input part, so the induced effects of value added in IT industry has not satisfied. Instead, the demand of investment and export play a leading role in the growth of IT industry. Second, we remind that the domestic R&D of IT components should be intensified as soon as possible. However, the critical view of increasing the import requirements should be prudential because the production requirements and rate of export have increased as much as the import requirements. Third, the multiplier' of the import price change has been very large. There are the considerable contrast between IT machinery and IT service. Especially, the import price change of IT components has influenced pervasively on the IT industry machinery. Finally, because IT industry is so sensitive to the foreign economy, the fluctuation of exchange rate has large effect on IT components. Although the production and export percentage of IT components in the IT industry has been decreasing, these results show that IT components yet play an important role in IT industry.

레슬링 自由型 競技 戰蹟에 關한 硏究 : (1904 Vienna to 1992 Barcelona) 歷代 올림픽 大會 中心으로

From this research, the results of winning Olympic medals in free Style Wrestling have been analyzed, on the basis of the 1904 Vienna Olympics to the 1992 Barcelona. The medal results of all Weight Categories in the Olympic Participants are as follows: 1) The gold has been Crowned to USA in all Weight divisions, to URS Except Welter Weight, to JPN in Light Fly including 4 Categories, to TUR and KOR in 8 and 4 categories respectively. and the silver has also been given to USA in all categories, to URS in 9, TUR in 7, BUL, JPN, IRN, FIN, and SWE in 6 for each, and KOR in 3 Weight divisions. As for the bronze, USA and URS have won in all Weights, IRN and BUL in 7 for each, FIN and SWE in 6, and KOR, GBR and JPN in 5, and HUN in 4 categories. 2) The medals total gotten by each participant are that USA wins 41 golds including 32 silvers with 20 bronze, URS 31 golds with 17 silvers plus 15 bronzs, JPN 16 golds with 9 silvers plus 7 bronzes, FIN 8 golds with 7 silvers with 10 bronzes, SWE 8 golds including 10 silvers with 8 bronzes, BUL 6 golds with 15 Silvers Plus 9 bronzes, SUI 4 golds with 4 silvers plus 5 bronzes, GBR 4 golds including 4 silvers with 10 bronzes and KOR 4 golds with 4 silvers plus 6 bronzes. 3) The results of the competition can be reviewed by the spatial considerations such continents as Asia, Europe, and North and South America. The medals by the three are the same in the categories of Light Fly, Fly, Bantam and Feather. By conteast, the two continents of America, Europe outnumber Asia in the weights such as Light, Welter, Middleu and Light Heavy. It is interesting to mote that there is no gold in Asia in Heavy Weight divisions of Heavy and Super Heavy weight. Europe gets 86 golds including 89 silvers with 95 bronzes, America 42 golds with 36 silvers plus 26 bronzes and Asia 25 golds including 28 silvers with 32 bronzes in Olympic. 4) As for the history of wrestling this match starts with 7 categories in Vienna Olympics, which is conducted with 10 weights from the 1972 Munhen Olympics through the slight category change expected to be modified in the future With considering dividing weights, some of them are not studied to be changed in such categories as in Feather, Light and Heavy weight. 5) As to the medals gotten by the KOR wrestlers, they win 14 medals in the Olympics of them, 4 golds are given to Mr. Jong-Mo Yang in 62kg, In-Tak Yu in 68kg, Jang-Soon Pa가 in 74kg, and Myung-Woo Han in 82kg, 4 silvers to Mr. Jung-Shin kim in 48kg, Chang-Sun chang and Jong-Kyu kim in 52kg and Jang-Soon Pa가 in 68kg and 6 bronzes to Mr Kap-Do Son in 48kg, Hae-Sub Jeon in 52kg, Eui-Kon Kim and Kyung-Sun Noh in 57kg, Jung-Keun Lee in 62kg, and Tae-Woo Kim in 90kg.

조경용 국화 품종 ‘Pansy Ball’과 육성 계통의 적정 식재 밀도

This research was carried out to investigate optimum planting density of landscape garden mum ‘Pansy Ball’ and 5 inbred lines. ‘Pansy Ball’ and 5 inbred lines of garden mums were planted at Pai Chai university campus on April 25, 2011. Plant density was controlled by 1 plant, 2 plants, 4 plants in one plot of 0.4m x 0.5m respectively. Average plant height in 1 plant in one plot was 46.2cm~71.7cm. And the average plant height in 2 plant in one plot was 45.9cm~64.8cm, while 4 plant in one plot was 38.9cm~53.2cm. Also, plant width of 05-18-01, 05-01-01, 09-76-03, and 09-02-02 inbred lines were over 50cm by 1 plant in one plot. However, as the plant height and plant density was high, most of the plants got flattened and the ornamental value was also reduced. We got the ‘Pansy Ball’ and 2 inbred lines 09-76-03, 09-02-02 for proper landscape ground cover plant.

제왕절개 자궁적출수술의 임상적 고찰

Objective: This study was evaluated twenty-six cases of emergency Cesarean hysterectomy to analyse incidence, age distribution, parity, indications, complications, amount of blood transfusion and fetal morbidity. Methods and Materials : This study was carried out on twenty-six cases who underwent emergency Cesarean hysterectomy at department of obstetrics and gynecology, Soonchunhyang University Hospital from January 1987 to November 1997. Results: 1. The incidence of Cesarean hysterectomy was perfomed in 26 cases among total 19,277 deliveries(0.1%). 2. The indications of Cesarean hysterectomy were uterine atony, placenta previa, adhesive placenta and bleeding tendency. 3. There was matenal death in one case and main cause of death was massive bleeding due to disseminated intrabascular coagulopathy. 4. The complications of Cesarean hysterectomy were disseminated intravascular coagulopathy, bladder injury, postoperative infection, wound disruption and postoperative hemoperitoneum. 5. Two cases of fetal and neonatal mortality were intrauterine fetal death and neonatal death. Conclusion : The incidence of Cesarean hysterectomy was increased by increasing parity and maternal age.

The effects of packaging materials, Ny/PE, PET/PE/Al, PET/PE/LDPE/CPP, and PET/Al/Ny/CPP, and packaging methods, atmospheric and vacuum packaging on physicochemical properties of onion Kimchi and rosemary-onion Kimchi were investigated. The maximun swelling days of packaging materials were increased more in rosemary-onion Kimchi than in onion Kimchi, and they were in the order of PET/Al/Ny/CPP, PET/PE/Al, PET/PE/LDPE/CPP, and Ny/PE. The pH and reducing sugar contents of onion Kimchi and rosemary-onion Kimchi were decreased during storage, and those of onion Kimchi and rosemary-onion Kimchi packaged in PET/Al/Ny/CPP were higher than those in different packaging materials. Titratible acidity and vitamin C content of rosemary-onion Kimchi were lower than those of onion Kimchi, but there were no differences in the L and b values between two groups.
