한방치료만을 시행한 급성 횡단성 척수염 2례에 대한 증례보고

Objectives : This report is about a case of a patient who improvement in general condition, Infection and bowel after and urinary dysfunction. Methods : We diagnosed that symptoms as Wejeung(?證), and employed oriental medical treatments, herb medication, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion and physical therapy. Results : In the first case, neurologic impairment was aggravated despite of 15 days of treatments. In the second case, motor and defecation was improved. Conclusions : There is no specific treatment for acute transverse myelitis in the Western medicine. Several case reports revealed clinical improvement of subacute or chronic transverse myelitis in the oriental medicine. We anticipated that the researches regarding treatment for acute transverse myelitis in the oriental medicine will be encouraged in the near future.

The purpose of this study was to roughness on the polished surface of visible light composite resins and was to observe the polished surfaces under Scanning Electrom Microsoope(ISI DS 130 AKASHI Co. JAPAN). The surface roughness tester(Surfoom 700A Seimtsu profilometer Tokyo, Japan) was used to measure roughness of polished surfaces. In this study, 5 brands of visible of composite resins were examined, Pyrofile light bond Anterior Lite fil anterior Photo clearfil anterior & posterior Palfique light Anterior and posterior Silux Anterior. White point, Silicure point, Super snap Saf-Lex medium disk as cutting instrument, and celluloid matrix were used. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The Celluloid matrix produced the smoothest surfaces. 2. The surfaces made by Soflex medium disk was smoother than the surfaces made by any other polishing instruments. 3. The values of surface roughness made by White point, Silicon point and Super snap were similer. 4. Palfique light (A.P) visible light composite resin showed the smoothest, surface after polishing with Silicone point, Super snap disk and Soflex medium disk in all tested materials.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate a possible contribution of nonspecific esterases, which occur in the oral cavity, to the degradation of ester bonds in polymethacrylates. One of the problems connected with the use of composite resins for restorations is their inadequate resistance to wear. It has been shown that methacrylate hydrolysis can be cataly- zed by enzymes and that a carboxylic hydrolase (porcine liver esterase) catalyzed the hydrolysis of several mono- and dimethacrylates. The softening effect on a BISGMA/TEG- DMA polymer induced by hydrolase will accelerate the in vivo wear of the polymer.Porcine liver esterase (EC 3.1.1.1) in 3.2 mol/L (NH<아래첨자>4</아래첨자>)<아래첨자>2</아래첨자> S0<아래첨자>4</아래첨자>was obtained from Sigma Chemical Company. The esterase activity of one unit is defined as the amount of enzyme capable of hydrolyzing Ifimol ethyl butyrate per min at pH 8.0 AT 25℃. Phosphate buffer, 10mmol/L, pH 7.0, was made by adjustment of a solution of Na<아래첨자>2</아래첨자>HPO<아래첨자>4</아래첨자> with H<아래첨자>3</아래첨자>P0<아래첨자>4-</아래첨자> Composite resins used in this study are Silux Plus, Z-100, Durafil VS, and Prisma APH.Cylindrical specimens, 14mm in diameter and 3mm thick, of Silux Plus, Z-100, Durafil VS, Prisma APH were polymerized under the celluloid strip. 60 specimens were divided into 2 groups. One group was emersed only in buffer solution, the other group was emersed in buffer and enzyme solution. Silux Plus and Z-100 were divided into 2 subgroups, one subgroup was cured only Visilux 2. And the other subgroup was cured Visilux 2 and Triaid II.Thereafter, specimens were polished to its best achievable surface according to manufac- ture"s directions. The Vickers hardness of the specimens was measured after 1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 15, 50 days. The solutions were changed after each measurement. Composite resin surfa- ces were evaluated for the surface roughness with profilometer (α-step 200, Tencor instru- ments, USA) after 1 and 50 days. And then surfaces of specimens were pictured with stereosopy after 1 and 50 days.The results were as follows. 1. The surface hardness of Silux plus, durafil VS, and Prisma APH were decreased with time. But, the surface hardness of Z-100 was not decreased. 2. The surface hardness of all composite resins was decreased by esterase. 3. Composite resins, which were light-cured by Visilux 2 and concomitantly baked by oven, showed more hardened surface than light-cured by Visilux 2 only. 4. Significant surface changes were occured in Silux plus after esterase treatment.
잣나무엽의 초기 분해과정에 있어서 무기태 질소 및 CO2 방출속도의 변화

Forest soils mixed with organic matters (green needle, flesh needle litter and needle litter in F layer of Pinus koraiensis, and green leaf of Quercus dentata and Q. variabilis) were incubated under a constanl: 30℃ (±1) for 53 days to measure the changes of inorganic nitrogen and CO₂ evolution rate. The results obtained were summarized as follows;1) In the early incubation period the amounts of total inorganic nitrogen in soils by mixture of organic matters decreased rapidly because of immobilization by microbial uptake, and thereafter their amounts increased with further incubation, 2) The rate of immobilization of organic nitrogen in mixed organic matters was the highest in green needle among green needle, flesh needle litter and needle litter in F layer of P. koraiensis, but lower than that of green leaf of Q. variabilis and Q. dentata. 3) The rates of CO₂ evolution from soils mixed with organic matters increased sharply in the early time, and then decreased slowly with increasing time. The order of the CO₂ evolution rate was green leaf of Q. variabilis $gt; green leaf of Q. dentata $gt; green needle of P. koraiensis $gt; flesh needle litter of P. koraiensis $gt; needle litter of P. koraiensis in F layer from the largest to the least. 4) Nitrate nitrogen concentrations showed a tendency to increase throughout incubation time, so that their concentrations after 53 days were higher than that of ammonium nitrogen.

From the end of 1900s to the 1910s and 1920s the idea of looking Manchuria as the capita birthplace and capital and territory of Dangun had been formed. This idea was a very new phenomenon. Because until the late Joseon Dynasty it had been generally considered that the center of the Dangun Joseon Territory was in Joseon Peninsula. In those period, the idea of looking Manchuria as the Dangun Joseon Territory were invented by Shin Chae Ho. The ‘Mt. Baekdu = Dangun Birthplace’ theory had been widely circulated as the discourses to prove the historical and cultural origin of the Korea. The ‘Pyeongyang as the capital of Dangun Joseon = Manchuria’ theory had been spreaded by the daily newspapers. In the colonial period this idea especially had been become a unique recognition on Mancuria. The ‘Manchuria = Dangun Territory’ theory had been developed more evidently expanded geographic boundaries than in the late Joseon Dynasty. Furthermore as Gija Joseon was thoroughly denied, Manchuria was approved the only historical substance of the Dangun Joseon Territory. In the ‘Manchuria = Dangun Territory’ theory, Manchuria was represented by the place to guarantee a eternal existence and independence of the Korea nation hood. At that time, the Korea intellectuals selected Manchuria as the place of guaranteeing the survivability and independence of the Korean. In this regard, ‘Manchuria = Dangun Territory’ theory reflected the reality of the loss of sovereignty, and the self-consciousness of the Korea intellectuals towards a national independence.
