        미세 멜라민입자를 함유한 다단교반형 반응기에서의 이산화황가스 제거

        기-액 접촉면적과 미세입자의 용해속도를 증진시킬 수 있는 다단교반형 반응기내에서 미세 멜라민입자를 함유한 슬러리 용액에 의한 이산화황산가스 제거실험을 행하였다. 기-액-멜라민입자 슬러리계에서 멜라민 미세입자는 기-액흡수반응이 진행되는 동안 지속적으로 용해되어 흡수반응에 이용됨을 확인할 수 있었으며, SO₂의 흡수는 용액중에 free melamine이 존재하는 한 계속됨을 볼 수 있었다. 또한 반응생성물인 melamine sulfate는 열분해에 의해 쉽게 재생시킬 수 있었으며, 재생된 멜라민은 순수 멜라민과 유사한 SO₂ 흡수특성을 보였다. 멜라민 슬러리 용액의 온도 및 슬러리 농도변화에 따른 멜라민의 이용율은 용액의 온도 및 슬러리 농도가 높을수록 감소하였다. SO₂의 제거효율은 용액의 pH, 슬러리 농도 및 액-기 비, 교반속도 등이 증가함에 따라 증가하였으나, 용액의 온도가 높아지게 되면 감소함을 보였다. The sulfur dioxide gas mixture was bubbled and removed through the water solution which contain suspended melamine particles using a multi-stage agitated reactor to increase gas-liquid interfacial area and the dissolution rate of melamine particles. In gas-liquid-melamine fine particle system, it was found that the melamine fine particles was continuously dissolved and was used in SO₂ absorption. Therefore SO₂ absorption reaction was continued until the free melamine particles was completely consumed. The experiment also showed that the melamine sulfate produced from the reaction was easily regenerated by the thermal decomposition. And the SO₂ absorption capacities of the melamine regenerated by the thermal decomposition was similar to those of fresh melamine. The amount of SO₂ removed per one mole of melamine decreased as the temperature of solution raised and the slurry concentration of solution increased. The SO₂ removal efficiency increased with agitation speed, pH of solution, slurry concentration of solution and liquid-gas flow ratio, however, decreased with the temperature of solution.

        ‘재야(在野)’의 정치와 예춘호의 정치

        The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate how the opposition movement has responded to the challenges posed by the Korean military regime by examining the political activities of Ye Chun-ho, who has both images of a political party politician and a ‘Chaeya’ leader. This article starts by defining ‘Chaeya’ that played as a unique political space in Korean society and examining its political characteristics. In Korean politics, ‘Chaeja’ can be defined as the politics of a movement made outside the institutional sphere to transform state power into a democratic system. Ye Chun-ho tried to modernize Korean party politics with founding the ‘Democratic Republican Party’, and to achieve democratization with resisting against suppression and injustice and to attempt political development by growing new political forces. However, during democratization process in 1987, ‘Chaeya’ paradoxically had the effect of being absorbed into the political sphere and disappearing. Ye Chun-ho, who left politics at this time, led a research group with young scholars and created an opportunity to transform this group into the Korea Institute of Social Sciences (Han·Sa·Yeon) 본 연구는 정당 정치인이자 재야 지도자라는 상반된 이미지를 뚜렷하게 갖고 있는예춘호의 정치 활동을 살펴봄으로써 한국의 군사 정권이 던진 도전들에 대하여 재야 운동이 어떻게 응전해 왔는가를 분석하고 평가하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이 글은 먼저 한국 사회의 독특한 정치적 공간으로 작동한 ‘재야'를 정의하고 그 정치적 특징을 살펴보는 것에서 출발한다. 한국 정치에서 재야는 국가 권력을 민주주의 체제로 전환하기 위하여 제도권 바깥에서 이루어진 운동의 정치라고 할 수 있다. 예춘호는 민주공화당 창당을 통해 한국 정당 정치의 근대화를 이루고자 했으며재야 운동을 통하여 민주화를 이루어 내고 새로운 정치 세력에 의한 정치 발전을시도하고자 하였다. 그러나 1987년 민주화는 역설적으로 재야 운동이 정치권으로 흡수되어 소멸되는 효과를 가져왔다. 이 시기에 정계를 떠난 예춘호는 소장학자들과 함께 연구 모임을 이끌었고 이후 이 연구 모임은 한국사회과학연구소(한사연)로 발전하였다. 현장을 바탕으로 한 구체성과 학제 간 연구를 통한 복합성을 강조하며 한 시대를 읽어 가기 위한 재야 연구 모임을 구축한 셈이다. 예춘호의 정치는 재야 정치와 함께 시대적 소임을 마감했지만 동시에 공론의 정치라는 재야의 특성을 살려 나갔다.

        Expressional Modulation of Aquaporin 1 and 9 in the Rat Epididymis by an Anabolic-Androgenic Steroid, Nandrolone Decanoate

        The spermatozoa become mature in the epididymis which is divided into initial segment and caput, corpus, and cauda epididymis. The water movement across the epididymal epithelium is important for creating luminal microenvironment for sperm maturation. Aquaporins (Aqps) are water channel proteins, and expression of Aqps is regulated by androgens. The current research was focused to examine expressional regulation of Aqp1 and Aqp9 by an androgenic-anabolic steroid, nandrolone decanoate (ND). The ND at the low dose (2 mg/ kg body weight/week) or high dose (10 mg) was subcutaneously administrated into male rats for 2 or 12 weeks. Transcript levels of Aqp1 and Aqp9 were determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analyses. In the initial segment, level of Aqp1 was decreased with 12 week-treatment, while Aqp9 level was decreased by the high dose treatment for 12 weeks. In the caput epididymis, Aqp9 expression was decreased by the low dose treatment. The 2 week-treatment resulted in an increase of Aqp1 level but a decrease of Aqp9 expression in the corpus epididymis. In the corpus epididymis, the 12 week-treatment at the low dose caused the reduction of Aqp1 and Aqp9 levels, but the high dose treatment resulted in an increase of Aqp1 expression and a decrease of Aqp9 level. In the cauda epididymis, Aqp1 expression was decreased by 2 and 12 week-treatments, while increases of Aqp9 levels was detected with the high dose treatment for 2 weeks and with 12 week-treatment. These findings indicate differential regulation of Aqp1 and Aqp9 expression among epididymal segments by ND.

        2010년 심폐소생술 지침에 따른 지속적인 가슴압박 시 구조자 피로를 막기 위한 구조자 1분 교체방법과 2분 교체 방법의 비교

        Purpose: To maintain high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), optimal alternating rescuers is important. Stronger and faster chest compression has recently been emphasized in the 2010 guidelines. Therefore, this study compared and evaluated changes in the quality of chest compression in a 2-min scenario group and a 1-min scenario group. Methods: Among the 88 participants, two-rescuer pairs were randomly allocated. After the training and a one-day break, participants were asked to perform continuous chest compressions for 2 min on a manikin and to take a one-day break, followed by continuous chest compression for 1 min. In all simulated CPRs, the total number of chest compressions and those with appropriate depth were counted. Chest compression quality index was calculated as the proportion of chest compressions with appropriate depth. Results: The mean overall chest compression depth was lower in the 2-min scenario group, compared with the 1-min scenario group. In particular, compression rate (p=0.110),abnormal hand position (p=0.181), and chest recoil (p=0.892) showed no significant difference between the two groups. However, the quality index, mean depth (p=0.018)and too shallow compression depth (p=0.020) 1-min scenario was better than that of the 2-min scenario group. The difference in the CPR quality index reached statistical significance. Conclusion: Switching compressors at an interval of 2 min is reasonable for performance of CPR by a lay-bystander. However, alternating rescuers every 1 min may be an alternative method during continuous chest compression.
