살만 러쉬디의 『자정의 아이들』에 나타난 탈식민 문화적 혼종성

In Midnight's Children(l981), Ahmed Salman Rushdie represents the complex condition, the aftermath of colonial condition in India. At that time, Indian people desire to forget the colonial past and to build a new postcolonial identity or nation. In this decolonising process, the anti-colonial nationalism or fundamentalism are emerged in India. They reject all the British colonial influences and admit the Indian culture before the British colonial occupation as the only pure native culture. The emergence of anti-colonial and ethnic nation after colonialism is frequently accompanied by a desire to forget the colonial past. This will-to-forget, that is postcolonial amnesia, is the symptom of the urge for historical self-invention or the need to make a new start. But the mere repression of colonial memories is never emancipation from the colonial subordination. For the real decolonising, postcolonial subjects have to do the task of revisiting, remembering and interrogating the colonial past. Saleem Sinai, a narrator in Midnight's Children, is an allegory of the nation of India. His biography runs parallel to the Indian history. In Midnight's Children, Rushdie interrogates the British colonizer who conducted the overwhelming and lasting violence of colonization, and rethinks the Indian colonized who conspired with the colonial ruling. Rushdie thinks the British colonizer were failed because they enforced only their traditions and customs on India. And anti-colonial nationalism and fundamentalism in India were failed too, because they rejected all the British colonial influences and admitted their homogenized religion and culture as the only pure one. In Midnight's Children, Rushdie thus offers multiculturalism as a real decolonising device for Indian postcolonial subjects.

영동에서 기록된 송장벌레들은 2아과 4속 4종으로 부산 전체에서 기록된 2아과 5속 5종의 대부분을 차지한다. 이는 면적상 넓지 않고 생태적 질이 높지 않은 녹지를 유지하는 상황에서도 남아있는 녹지에 대하여 큰 간섭이 없는 것이 송장벌레의 당양성을 유지하게 해주는 요인임을 시사하고있다. 분포지역에서도 봉래산과 공원족지를 중심으로 기록되므로 자연생태계의 유기물 분해를 촉진시키고 노양의 질소 순환을 촉진시키는 중요한역할을 담당하는 셈이다. 그러므로 생태적 건강성과 보건위생을 유지하는 자연적인 분해자로서의 역할을 고려하여 생물자원으로서 활용할 가치가 있다. Four species belonging to 4 genera and 2 subfamilies in Silphidae were recorded at the Islit Youngdo. It covers the major component of taxonomic diversity recorded in Pusan that are representer as 5 species belonging to 5 genera and 2 subfamilies. The beetles were recorded largely at the Mt. Bongrae and the linked woody parks. It may imply that the less-disturbed green areas support the more diversity of Silphidae at the Iselet Yongdo where Mt. bongrae has taken the role of a biological source, although neither the ecological quality nor the size of the green areas is enough to support a broad spectrum of biodiversity in overall. Therefore, they are of value and of use to be conserved as a biological resource maintaining ecological equality and public health as a natural decomposer, in terms that they facilitate to resolve organic materials and to supply nitrogen to soils.

대안적 통째학습 기반 저품질 레거시 콘텐츠에서의 문자 인식 알고리즘

문자 인식은 스마트 주차, text to speech 등 최근 다양한 플랫폼에서 필요로 하는 기술로써, 기존의 방법과 달리 새로운 시도를 통하여 그 성능을 향상시키려는 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 문자 인식에 사용되는 이미지의 품질이 낮을 경우, 문자 인식기 학습용 이미지와 테스트 이미지간에 해상도 차이가 발생하여 정확도가 떨어지는 문제가 발생된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 문자 인식 모델 성능이 다양한 품질 데이터에 대하여 강인하도록 이미지 초해상도 및 문자 인식을 결합한 통째학습 신경망을 설계하고, 대안적 통째학습 알고리즘을 구현하여 통째 신경망 학습을 수행하였다. 다양한 문자 이미지 중 차량 번호판 이미지를 이용하여 대안적 통째학습 및 인식 성능 테스트를 진행하였고, 이를 통해 제안하는 알고리즘의 효과를 검증하였다. Character recognition is a technology required in various platforms, such as smart parking and text to speech, and many studies are being conducted to improve its performance through new attempts. However, with low-quality image used for character recognition, a difference in resolution of the training image and test image for character recognition occurs, resulting in poor accuracy. To solve this problem, this paper designed an end-to-end learning neural network that combines image super-resolution and character recognition so that the character recognition model performance is robust against various quality data, and implemented an alternative whole learning algorithm to learn the whole neural network. An alternative end-to-end learning and recognition performance test was conducted using the license plate image among various text images, and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was verified with the performance test.

주택임대차보호법상 계약갱신요구권과 전월세 상한제 - 계약갱신요구권의 보호 대상과 그 행사를 중심으로 -

주임법의 보호 대상과 관련하여 외국인과 법인, 미등기 전세와 전세권자를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 특히 전세권자는 별도의 임대차계약을 통한 주임법상 임차인으로서의 지위를 가지지 않는 한, 그 전세권자로서의 지위에서는 주임법상 계약갱신요구권을 행사할 수 없다고 볼 수 있다. 계약갱신요구권을 행사한 후 임의로 철회할 수 있다고 한다면 임대인은 불측의 불이익을 부담할 수밖에 없다. 따라서 임차인은 계약갱신요구권을 행사한 후 이를 임의로 철회할 수 없다고 보아야 한다. 다만 임대인 승낙에 따른 계약갱신요구권의 행사의 철회는 가능하다고 본다. 계약갱신청구권 행사 시기가 도래한 이후에 계약갱신요구권을 포기하거나 행사하지 않기로 임대인과 약정하는 것은 임차인 자신의 적법한 선택에 따른 것이며, 임대인의 법적 신뢰 보호를 위해서도 무효화시킬 필요는 없다. 따라서 임대차계약 기간 만료 6개월 전부터 2개월 전까지 시기에, 임차인이 계약갱신요구권 포기나 불행사 의사표시를 한 경우, 이러한 의사표시를 철회하여 계약갱신요구권을 행사할 수는 없다고 할 것이다. 그리고 주택의 양도와 계약갱신요구권 행사의 문제는 주택 양도가 계약갱신요구권 행사 시기 이전인지 또는 그 기간 내에 이루어졌는지 등에 따라 달리 판단하여야 한다. The purpose of the Housing Lease Protection Act is to secure stability in the residential life of national citizens, by providing for special cases to the Civil Act, with respect to the lease of buildings for residence. A lessee who can have the effect of resident registration and move-in report regardless of whether he or she has acquired Korean nationality can be considered to be subject to protection under the Housing Lease Protection Act. From the standpoint of the Supreme Court precedent that denies the application of the Housing Lease Protection Act by corporations, a corporate housing lessee cannot exercise the right to request a contract renewal. If the lessee can voluntarily withdraw after exercising the right to request a contract renewal, the lessor is bound to bear unforeseen disadvantages. Therefore, the lessee should consider that it cannot arbitrarily withdraw after exercising the right to request a contract renewal. It is the lessee's own legitimate choice to give up the right to request a contract renewal after the period during which the right to request a contract renewal is exercised. The issue of the transfer of the house and the exercise of the right to request a contract renewal should be judged differently depending on whether the transfer of the house was made before or within the period of exercising the right to request for a contract renewal.

유리체절제술의 학습곡선

Purpose: To determine the learning curve of surgeons who perform vitrectomy by studying the results of the first 500 vitrectomy cases that were performed after a fellowship training course for a retina surgeon. Methods: The medical records of the first 500 vitrectomy cases performed by a retina surgeon from February 2001 were reviewed. We included the first operation of each eye and excluded partial vitrectomy and ocular laceration cases. We defined failure as reoperation cases within 3 months and cases with serious visual complication. Results: There were 261 eyes (52.2%) from male patients, and 239 eyes (48.7%) from female patients; the average age was 59.7 years old. The causative diseases were, in order of frequency, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and branch retinal vein occlusion. The final visual outcomes showed improvement of more than 2 lines in 274 eyes (54.8%), and a decrease of more than 2 lines in 50 eyes (10.0%). Failure was the outcome in 37 eyes (7.4%) and was more frequent in the first 2 years of surgeries; the causes of failure were, in order of frequency, retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, and neovascular glaucoma. Visual acuity in the first 2 years, during which failure was more frequent, was not different from that in the last 3 years. Conclusions: To achieve consistently stable results in vitrectomy, a newly trained retina surgeon needs about 150 cases of vitrectomy or 2 years of experience.

Objectives We report a series of 2 treatment cases with Hyeongbangdojok-san which is based on Sasang Constitutional Medicine for peripheral facial palsy in Soyangin. Methods We diagnosed these two cases as a Soyangsangpung. And we prescribed Hyeongbangdojok-san for their physical symptoms. The improvement of their peripheral facial palsy were evaluated. Results After the Hyeongbangdojok-san was given, the patient's peripheral facial paralysis and physical symptoms were improved. Conclusions These case-studies showed an efficient result of using Hyeongbangdojok-san in the peripheral facial paralysis of Soyangin.
