인구와 차량이 급속히 과밀화되는 도시에서의 어린이 양육은 전통적 가치관이나 그에따르는 환경적 측면 모두가 여러가지의 문제를 내포하고 있으며, 현재의 상황이 지속될 경우 미래의 사회상황은 지극히 비관적인 것으로 예측된다. 이러한 관점에서 현재시행되고 있는 신도시 개발 지역중 공동주택지구의 어린이 놀이시설에 대한 환경적 변환의 시도로서 Sunken Garden형의 어린이 놀이터를 계획하였다.
최근 20년간(1981-2000) 부산지역 소아 백혈병 환자에 대한 역학적 연구

Background: Malignancy is the second cause of childhood death following accidents, and leukemia is the most frequent one of malignancy in childhood. This is the report analyzed the data from 584 new patients with childhood leukemia in the Pusan city during 1981-2000. Method: The data were obtained from 584 new cases of childhood leukemia who were the residents of Pusan city during 1980-2000. And the author also made an analysis for comparison of some epidemiologic data from the new cases of childhood leukemia between Pusan city and Kyongsangnamdo(Kyongnam) province during 1991-1995. Results: 1. The total number of the new childhood leukemia patients were 584(male 359, female 225) during 1981-2000. There were 152 patients(male 95, female 57) of childhood leukemia during 1981-85, 161 patients(male 93, female 68) during 1986-1990, 138 patients(male 84, female 68) during 1991-1995, and 133 patients(male 87, female 46) during 1996-2000. The average annual number of the new patients were 29.2(male 18.0 female 11.2). 2. Male to female sex ration in each year group was in the range of 1.37:1 - 1.89:1 during 1996-2000 with average of 1.60:1. 3. The standardized(age-and-sex) annual incidence rate( /100,000) was in the range 2.87-3.30(male 3.43-4.05, female 2.24-2.84) with average of 3.14(male 3.66, female 2.52) during 1981-2000. 4. Age-specific annual incidence rate( /100,000) during last 20 year(1981-2000) were 3.45 in 0-4 year age group, 3.37 in 5-9 year age group and 2.30 in 10-14 year age group, showing the highest in 0-4 year age group and the lowest in 10-14 year age group. 5. Of the major type of the childhood leukemia, the distribution of All was average 71.7%(69.4-76.1%), of AML 23.3%(22.5-23.3%), of CML 2.8%(1.4-4.5%) and of the unclassified 3.3%(0-5.4%), showing the highest in ALL. 6. Average age-and-sex adjusted annual incidence rate were 3.09(male 3.58, female 2.58) in Pusan city, and 2.41(male 2.26, female 2.57) in Kyongnam province during 1991-1995, showing higher incidence in Pusan city. 7. Of the 220 new childhood leukemia patients, admitted to the hospitals located in Pusan city, during 1991-1995, the proportion of the residents of Kyongnam province was 32.3%, almost 1/3 of total patients. 8. Of the 126 patients from Kyongnam province, 71(48.9%) were admitted to the hospitals in the Pusan city, where they were diagnosed initially. Conclusion: The average age-and-sex adusted annual incidence rate/100,000 was 3.14(male 3.66, female 2.52) in the last 20 years during 1981-2000. Almost half of the childhood leukemia patients in Kyongnam province were admitted to the hospitals located at Pusan city during 1991-1995, where they were diagnosed initially. Of the total 220 new patients of childhood leukemia admitted to the hospitals located in the Pusan city during 1991-1995, the proportion of the patients from Kyongnam province was almost 1/3 of the total patients.
