대한인쇄문화협회와 한국이앤엑스는 프린코2007을 기념하여 지난 8월 22일 오후 2시부터 4시까지 코엑스 전시장 특별세미나실에서 세미나를 개최했다. 이날 세미나는 박인섭 B&S Law Firm 개인자산관리연구소장이 '인쇄 경영과 재테크'에 대해, 이재수 동국대산업대학원겸임교수(일진피엠에스 부사장) '인쇄 블루오션 개발' 에 대해 각각 강의했다. 다음은 이재수 교수의 강연 내용이다.

고려대장경의 문화콘텐츠 활용 방안

대장경은 불교의 출발점이며, 붓다의 가르침과 이에 대한 해석과 실천이 경․율․론 삼장으로 정립된 총서이다. 아울러 각 지역과 시대에서 불교를 바라보는 하나의 패러다임으로 작용하였다. 논자는 대장경의 과거를 새롭게 발견하고자 대장경의 문화적 함의를 살펴보았다. 고려대장경이 지닌 원전적 가치와 문화유산으로서의 위치에 주목하였다. 본 논의에서 대장경을 다른 시각으로 검토하였다. 대장경을 미디어와 플랫폼으로 바라보고자 하였다. 대장경은 미디어로서 원형성을 지니고 종교적 기능을 담당했으며, 대중성과 사회성을 지향한 소통의 결과물로 보았다. 대장경은 과거와 현재를 이어주는 소통의 기능과 불교적 지식생산의 도구로서 다양한 활용을 이끌어내는 훌륭한 플랫폼이라는 것을 밝혔다. 대장경의 현재를 한글대장경을 통해 살펴보았다. 이는 과거 대장경의 원전을 해석하고 의미와 가치를 확장하는 측면을 담당하였다. 우리시대 대장경은 전자불전을 통해 새로운 전기를 마련하였다. 대장경의 미래는 쌍방향 소통과 복합적인 활용에 있다고 할 것이다. 이를 통해 대장경의 과거-현재-미래를 텍스트, 해석, 소통이라는 지점에서 참다운 가치를 발견하고, 이를 원래 그 의미에 맞게 널리 쓰이게 하여 우리의 삶에서 다양한 모습으로 확장되어가는 문화콘텐츠로 활용하는 것에 대해 논의하였다. Tripitaka, a collection of books containing the Buddha's teachings, is the starting point of Buddhism. It is divided into three baskets of teachings; Sutras, Abhidharma and Vinaya. It served as a paradigm of the Buddhism in each region and in each era. In order to interpret the past of Tripitaka from a new perspective, this study examined the cultural implication of Tripitaka. It focused on the original value of the Tripitaka Koreana and its status as a cultural heritage. It discussed Tripitaka from a new perspective and tried to view it as a sort of media and platform. It said that Tripitaka performed a religious function with original features of media and was the outcome of popularity and sociality-oriented communication. It saw Tripitaka as an excellent platform that played multiple roles as a tool for communication connecting the past and present and for producing Buddhist knowledge. In this study looked into the present of Tripitaka through it's the Hangul Tripitaka. Korean version of Tripitaka contained an interpretation of the original version of old Tripitaka and extended its meaning and value. The emergence of electronic Buddhist texts marked a turning point in the Tripitaka of this era. The future of Tripitaka rests on two way communication and multiple use. In conclusion, this study discovered the true value of Tripitaka as an excellent communication tool in interpreting its past, present and future and discussed expanding its usage as cultural content in daily life.

4차 산업혁명의 시대 VR/AR을 이용한 불교 교육프로그램의 개발과 활용 방향

This study purports to examine the issues of developing and utilizing a Buddhist education program with VR/AR technologies in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The investigator focuses on the relationship performance-type talents to promote achievements through collaboration in an organized manner as a new type of talents for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The knowledge of humanities is essential to the establishment of whole personal personality and values, which work to compensate for the lacking parts of science-technology fusion education, and religious education can offer it. The investigator proposed several preceding tasks for the development of a Buddhist education program based on VR/AR: first, it is needed to set the scope of an education program and gather opinions according to the characteristics of VR/AR as media; second, there is a need to build an archive of Buddhist cultural resources; third, it is critical to explore the possibilities of access and utilization; fourth, it is also needed to develop a variety of public content; and finally, it is required to expand educational opportunities related to VR/AR. Furthermore, the study set a direction for the utilization of a Buddhist education program based on VR/AR and discussed a preparation process for it. In the future, it will be needed to have more advanced discussions about VR/AR-related content and technologies in the field of personality and lifelong education. The discussions of the study will hopefully contribute to more in-depth researches on various utilization plans for the whole person values of Buddhist education in an environment characterized by the fusion and convergence of media industry technologies driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. 본 논의는 4차 산업혁명의 시대에 VR/AR 기술을 활용하여 불교 교육프로그램을 개발하고 활용하는 문제를 살펴보고자 한다. 논자는 4차 산업혁명의 새로운 인재상으로 협력을 통해 조직적으로 성과를 이끄는 관계성과형 인재에 주목하였다. 과학기술 융합 교육의 부족한 부분을 채울 수 있는 전인적 품성과 가치관의 확립에 인문지식이 필수적이며 이를 담당할 수 있는 분야가 바로 종교교육이다. 논자는 VR/AR을 이용한 불교교육프로그램 개발의 선행 과제를 제시하고자 한다. 첫째 VR/AR의 매체적 특성에 맞는 교육프로그램의 범위와 의견의 수렴, 둘째 불교문화자원의 아카이빙의 구축, 셋째 접근과 활용의 가능성, 넷째, 다양한 공공 콘텐츠의 개발, 다섯째, VR/AR 관련 교육 기회의 확산 등이 필요하다. 나아가 VR/AR을 이용한 불교교육프로그램 활용 방향을 설정하고 이에 대한 준비 과정에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 향후 과제로는 VR/AR 콘텐츠와 관련 기술은 반드시 인성교육과 평생교육의 현장에서의 보다 진전된 논의가 필요하다. 본 논의를 통해 전인적 불교교육의 가치에 입각해 4차 산업혁명으로 야기될 미디어 산업 기술의 융복합화로 인한 환경에서 다양한 활용방안에 대한 심도있는 연구가 진행되는데 이바지하고자 한다.

Land Use and Sustainable Transportation: An Interpretive Review of Research in the U.S. and Policy Implications

A self-reinforcing pattern of growing automobile dependence, automobile-oriented planning and development and segregated and sprawling land use have negative impacts on the economic, social and environmental system over past decades in the U.S. To address the linkage,this study examines overall trends and causes and effects of automobile dependence in the U.S., the ideas and major issues of sustainable transportation, and the relationship between land use and transportation. Some implications are suggested for integrating land use and transportation as well as accomplishing sustainability goals. First, theory and issues of sustainable transportation as a comprehensive framework needs to be studied in Korea. Performance measurement and decision-making system also need to be established. Policies and strategies for integrating land use and transportation proposed by new planning movements should be properly considered. Coherent land use policies and coordination and collaboration among stakeholders and public entities from the far-reaching perspective are required to control travel demand by land use measures. Finally, more attention should be paid to theoretical grounds, practical issues of sustainable transportation and land use and transportation integration system to establish low-carbon and energy-saving cities in Korea.

물수지 방정식의 안정상태간의 평균 천이시간 및 불확실성에 관한 연구

The surface hydrology of large land areas is susceptible to several preferred stable states with transitions between stable states induced y stochastic fluctuation. This comes about due to the close coupling of land surface and atmospheric interaction. An interesting and important issue is the duration of residence in each mode. Mean transtion times between the stable modes are analyzed for different model parameters or climatic types. In an example situation of this differential equation exhibits a bimodal probability distribution of soil moisture states. Uncertainty analysis regarding the model parameters is performed using a Monte-Carlo simulation method. The method developed in this research may reveal some important characteristics of soil moisture or precipitation over a large area, in particular, those relating to abrupt changes in soil moisture or precipitation having extremely variable duration.

하구순부에 발생한 미세낭포성 피부부속기 암의 치험례

Purpose: Microcystic adnexal carcinoma is a rare malignant appendage tumor, first described by Goldstein et al in 1982. Here, we present our experience in treatment of a case on the lower lip.Methods: A 52-year-old female with an asymptomatic nodule on the chin, previously misdiagnosed as trichoadenoma by needle aspiration biopsy, was treated by wide excision combined with multiple circumferential frozen biopsies.Results: Pathological examination revealed typical features of microcystic adnexal carcinoma, such as basaloid and squamous cells forming nests and cord-like patterns, horn cysts, and minimal cytologic atypia. The patient has been followed up for 6 months. No sign of recurrence is noted to date.Conclusion: Differentiation from other benign adnexal neoplasms is important for its appropriate treatment. Differentiation can be difficult histologically because it is difficult to acquire an adequate biopsy due to its invasiveness, and clinically due to its asymptomatic and slow growing features. Complete excision is the key treatment, but it may not always be the best solution considering the huge defect that may result and the low incidence of metastasis & deaths owing to the tumor. We add this case to the approximately 300 cases reported worldwide with a review of literature.

석전 박한영 전서의 활용 전망 : 박한영 아카이브 구축 방향과 과제

석전 박한영(石顚 朴漢永, 1870~1948)은 한국 근대불교의 초석을 다진 교육자이다. 동국대학교는 2026년 개교 120주년을 기념하여 석전의 저술과 관련 자료를 모아서 <석전 박한영 전서>를 편찬할 계획을 세우고, 한국문학연구소에서 간행팀에서 1차로 10권을 출간할 준비를 하고 있다. 본 논의는 <석전 박한영 전서>의 간행이 가지는 의의를 밝혔는데, 근대 한국불교학의 초석을 놓은 석전의 사상을 연구하는 길잡이로 새로운 불교학의 흐름을 주도할 것이므로 동국대학교 연구 역량을 결집해 한국문화 창달에 이바지해야 한다. 지난 2016년 간행된 『백용성 대종사 총서』의 성격과 의의를 정리하고 이를 통해서 <석전 박한영 전서>의 편찬 사업은 첫째, 디지털 아카이브 구축과 함께 진행되어야 하고, 둘째 복합적인 활용을 위한 확장성을 지향해야 하며, 셋째 관련 연구 역량과 조직 역량을 결집해 협업을 진행해야 함을 밝혔다. 동국대학교 불교학술원이 수행한 불교기록문화유산 아카이브 사업의 진행 과정과 성과를 통해서 석전 아카이브 구축을 위해 첫째, <석전 전서>는 기본적으로 디지털화를 전제로 이루어져야 하고, 둘째, 시맨틱 DB를 지향하기 위한 석전의 온톨로지를 설계하는 작업을 함께 해야 하며, 셋째, 시맨틱 DB를 지향하여 온톨로지를 구축해야 할 것이고, 넷째, <석전 전서>는 근대불교 지성인들의 사상과 철학을 담은 아카이브의 모범이 될 수 있도록 확장성을 가져야 한다. 본 논의를 통해 <석전 전서>와 석전 디지털 아카이브가 함께 구축되기를 바라며, 이를 통해 한국 불교학과 한국문화의 진흥에 이바지하고자 한다. Seokjeon Park Han-young (石顚 朴漢永, 1870-1948) is an educator who laid the foundation for modern Buddhism in Korea. Dongguk University plans to compile the Compilation of the Seokjeon Park Han-young by collecting Seokjeon's writings and related materials to commemorate the 120th anniversary of its founding in 2026, and the publication team at the Institute of Korean Literature is preparing to publish 10 volumes in the first round. This discussion has revealed the significance of the publication of the “The Compilation of the Seokjeon Park Han-young”. As a guide for studying Seokjeon's thoughts, which laid the foundation for modern Korean Buddhist studies, it will lead a new trend in Buddhist studies, and thus, Dongguk University's research capabilities should be pooled to contribute to the advancement of Korean culture. Through the progress and achievements of the Archives of Buddhist Culture Project conducted by the Academy of Buddhist Studies in Dongguk University, in order to build a Seokjeon Archive, First, “The Compilation of the Seokjeon Park Han-young” should be built on the premise of digitalization. Second, work should be done to design an ontology for Seokjeon aimed at a semantic DB. Third, an ontology should be built aimed at a semantic DB. Fourth, “The Compilation of the Seokjeon Park Han- young” should have expandability so that it can become a model archive containing the thoughts and philosophies of modern Buddhist intellectuals. Through this discussion, we hope to build the Compilation of the Seokjeon and the Seokjeon Digital Archive together, thereby contributing to the advancement of Korean Buddhist studies and Korean culture.
