ToyLotos/Ada : 실시간 Ada 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 객체행위 시뮬레이션 시스템

본 논문에서는 기존 객체행위 설계방법에 의해 개발된 '시각적 실시간 객체모델'의 설계의미를 검증·확인하기 위한 시뮬레이션 기반 지원 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 실행 가능한 Ada 코드 생성에 의한 객체 프로세스들간의 동적이 상호작용을 시뮬레이션 할 수 있게 하며, 실제 시스템 구현에 앞서 여러 가지 논리적, 시간적 문제들을 검출할 수 있게 한다. 또한, 시뮬레이션에 의해 검증·확인된 명세서로부터 Ada 프로토타잎 코드를 직접 생성시켜 준다. 이 시스템은 Visual C++ 버전4.2로 개발되었다. 그리고, 시뮬레이션 코드로 Ada를 사용하였는데, 이것은 Ada의 병행 행위 및 시간 표현력 등의 실시간 시스템의 표현력에 있어 기존의 언어들에 비해 우수성을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 이 작업은 방법론 기반 시각적 모델과 자동화 된 정형기법 기반 시뮬레이션 시스템의 연결, 그리고 자동화된 명세 검증·확인 기술의 실현이라는 점에서 기여한다. This paper presents a simulation-based system for verification and validation(V&V) of design implication of the Visual Real-time Object Model which is produced by existing object's behavior design method. This system can simulate the dynamic interactions using the executable Ada simulation machine, and can detect various logical and temporal problems in the visual real-time object model prior to the real implementation of the application systems. Also, the system can generate the Ada prototype code from the validated specification. This system is implemented by Visual C++ version 4.2. For simulation, this system is using the Ada language because Ada's real-time expression capabilities such as concurrent processes, rendezvous, temporal behavior expression, and etc, are competent compared to other languages. This work contributes to a tightly coupling of methodology-based visual models and formal-based simulation systems, and also contributes to a realization of automated specification V&V.

로맨스 The Tempest의 미국성

The Tempest can be read as a drama dealing with the political affairs. But it takes a Romance genre. Why did Shakespeare, who mainly treated political affairs in the histories, write the play as a romance? Many writers and critics regard romance elements as the core of the American literature. In other words, romance has played a crucial part in tne American Literature since Cooper, Hawthorne, and Melville. So it is regard as one of the Americanness. This thesis is to examine why he wrote The Tempest as a romance, what historical consciousness he shows in doing so, and what meaning it has in relation to the Americanness and American culture. The romance is based on the contradiction between reality and ideal, or on the tense inherent in the society. If so, we could infer that the English society in which The Tempest was written should also have been in tense and contradiction. It represents Shakespeare's recognition that he was experiencing something different from the previous society. In the Elibzbethan age, the English people's interest was turning to the expansion of their hegemony and influence on other countries and areas ouside England. They needed a discoures for justification of their ruling the New World. So The Tempest is said to show the English ruling class' discourse of colonialism. But it does not tell just the origin of colonialism. It shows the realiti's estrangement from Shakespeare's ideal enlightment of the uncivilized. Caliban is supposed to be enlightened by Prospero and Prospero left the island. Seemingly Caliban and Ariel is liberated from Prospero's restraint and Caliban ,we can assume, will be given the isalnd. But historically, in fact, the white people who came to the New World did not leave but remained on the island That is why Shakespeare used a romance. The restoration of the broken order and the reconcilation between the good and the evil was what Shakespeare wanted. But in relation to the colonialization, the reconcilation between the ousider and the native was not a true reconcilation. It implies exploitation and domination. Shakespaere saw it and avoided examining it thoroughly. Nay, he treated the contemporary social and political problem ambiguously by describing it through a romance. His effort to solve the contradiction and tense in reality was confronted to the barrier of the real world, and so he escaped into the imagination and sought the solution. Such attitude is abundant in American literature. It also is a point where American literature and Romance genre meets. Just as The Tempest shows one aspect of the colonializing process of America, it does the very Americanness.

감수성 분열론과 변화의 의미 : 『안토니와 클레오파트라』와 『실락원』을 중심으로 in Antony and Cleopatra and Paradise Lost

T.S. Eliot asserted that the dissociation of sensibility was aggravated by the two powerful poets Dryden and Milton in the seventeenth century. And then he placed the metaphysical poets in the mainstream of English literature as successors to Shakespeare. So naturally Shakespeare is regarded as the best of the English canon. Whether his assertion is right or not, his insight was important in that he noticed the social change in the poetic use of language. What he invokes when he talks about the dissociation of sensibility is the inquiring insight of key importance for an intelligent grasp of English literary history. But new criticism after Eliot didn't pay attention to his insights and perceptions. They rather attended to the phrase that the poet must become more and more comprehensive, more allusive, more indirect to express the complexity and variety of our civilization. So the members of new criticism have been criticized as the advocates of the existing power. New historicists are enthusiastic in criticizing them. They accuse Shakespeare because he has been the best of the English canon and so his works are thought to have contributed to the maintenance of the dominant Anglo-Saxon culture. In this criticism, we can see that both Eliot's insights and Shakespeare's greatness are neglected, which are more necessary in modern times. So this essay tries to examine the correlation between the meaning of dissociation of sensibility and that of the change to the sensibility -dissociated age by discussing Milton's Paradise Lost and Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra with the theory of dissociation of sensibility. What Eliot criticizes about Milton's poetry is especially about his music. He insists that his music aggravated the dissociation of thought and feeling in poetry. But in view of what he thought to be the metaphysical poets' merits, "the elaboration of a figure of speech which ingenuity can carry", and "the development by rapid association of thought which requires considerable agility on the part of the reader", what we can criticize is not dissociation of sensibility, but the relaxation of attentiveness to sense by his poetry. It leads to the relaxation, not to the awakening of sensibility on the part of the reader. It is a method to make the reader accept the poet's purpose, and makes the development of incorporated sensibility impossible. It brings about a mechanic movement of sensibility. It shows that such situation has already progressed in the seventeenth century. In Shakespeare's works, we can see two kinds of people with different sensibility. One kind is people with creative and spontaneous vitality, and the other is those with purposeful and calculative will. Among the one are Cleopatra and Antony, and Ceaser is among the other. It is natural that the power is transferred to Ceaser with purposeful and calculative will. But such transference means the change of the creative age to the sensibility-dissociated age. In that Shakespeare described Ceaser's time as deteriorating and less glorious, though Ceaser finally had the power, we can insist that Shakespeare was not simple an advocate for order and power. Shakespware descrived the change of the contemporary power and social order, and predicted what results that change would lead to. And in that the changed society is described inferior to that of the past, we can say that sensibility became dissociated and mechanized in the process.

This study consisted of two parts; first, development of manufacturing apparatus and sample preparing procedure for asbestos quality control(QC) sample: second, validation of the QC samples made by our developed method as asbestos proficiency analytical testing sample. The main results of the first part research are as followed We developed the apparatus for manufacturing the asbestos QC sample, consisted of filter hold, filter holder manifolder, vacuum system, and vacuum pump. The most proper filter of making the QC samples was a cellulose ester membrane filter with 25 mm diameter, pore size 0.8 um. And we presented the optimal procedure for preparing the asbestos QC sample by using the developed apparatus. We will verify the manufactured asbestos QC samples by this method, and present the validation results to confirm the reliability as a asbestos QC sample in next paper.
