        슬러리 기포탑 반응기에서 침강성 탄산칼슘의 모폴로지에 대한 조업변수들의 영향

        슬러리 기포탑을 이용하여 수산화칼슘 농도(0.16~0.64 wt%), 계면활성제 농도(2~16 wt%), 총 부피유량(3~6 L/min) 및 CO₂ 유량의 부피분율(0.3~0.6)이 탄산칼슘의 morphology, 결정구조, 입자의 크기, 입자 간의 응집화, 비표면적에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 실험에 사용한 반응기는 높이가 1.0 m이고 직경이 0.11m, 그리고 중앙에는 직경 4 cm인 튜브가 들어있는 슬러리 기포탑이다. 실험에 사용한 음이온 계면활성제 Dispex N40은 탄산칼슘 합성에 있어 반응 속도에 영향을 주어 반응 종결 시간을 감소시켰다. Dispex N40의 농도가 2 wt%일 때 수산화칼슘의 포화농도인 0.16 wt%에서 이산화탄소의 유량에 따른 침강성 탄산칼슘의 morphology를 살펴보면 반응 속도가 증가할수록 결정의 형태는 단일 결정으로 존재하는 입자들이 많아졌다. Dispex N40은 탄산칼슘의 crystal의 성장과 입자와 입자간의 응집 현상에 영향을 주어 탄산칼슘의 평균 입도를 변화시켰다. 또한 0.9 L/min CO₂ 유량에서 수산화칼슘의 농도가 0.64 wt%일 때 2 wt%의 계면활성제 첨가로 인해 비표면적을 35m²/g에서 44m²/g로 크게 증가시켰다. Effects of Ca(OH)₂ concentration (0.16~0.64 wt%), surfactant concentration (2~16 wt%), total volumetric flow rate (3~6 L/min) and CO₂ volume fraction (0.3~0.6) on morphology, crystal structure, mean particle diameter, aggregation and specific surface area of the precipitated CaCO₃ were investigated in the slurry bubble column reactor. Experiments were carried out in acrylic reactor (0.11 m-ID×1.0 m-high) with a internal tube (0.04 m-ID×1.0 m-high). The reaction time of CaCO₃ synthesis decreased with adding Dispex N40 of the anionic surfactant. The reaction rate of Ca(OH)₂ increased with increasing the volumetric flow rate of CO₂. From SEM images, the single crystal of CaCO₃ increased with increasing the reaction rate in the saturated concentration of Ca(OH)₂ (0.16 wt %) and the concentration of Dispex N40 (2 wt%). The mean particle size of CaCO₃ varied with adding Dispex N40. In addition, the specific surface area of CaCO₃ increased with adding of surfactant (2 wt%) from 35 m²/g to 44 m²/g at the volumetric flow rate of CO₂ (0.9 L/min) and the concentration of Ca(OH)₂ (0.64 wt %).

        왕겨숯을 이용하여 제조한 보드의 물성

        본 연구는 쌀의 도정과정에서 발생되는 농업부산물인 왕겨를 탄화시켜 만든 왕겨숯을 톱밥과 혼합하여 밀도별, 수지첨가율별 및 톱밥첨가율별로 보드를 제조하고 기초물성을 측정하여 보드 재료로서의 이용가능성을 검토하였다. 수분흡수율은 수지첨가량 25%일 때 80.09%로 가장 낮은 값을 나타냈고, 밀도가 증가하고 톱밥첨가량이 감소할 때 수분흡수율이 감소하는 경향을 나타냈다. 또한 측정된 두께팽윤율은 KSF 3104 파티클보드의 품질규정에 만족시키고 있어 치수안정성 부분에서 건축내장재로 활용가능성이 확인되었다. 박리강도는 수지첨가량 25%일 때 0.24 N/mm<sup>2</sup>으로 KSF 3104 파티클보드의 품질기준을 만족시켰지만, 나머지 조건에서는 현저하게 낮은 값을 나타내 조건을 충족시키지 못하였다. 밀도, 수지첨가율, 톱밥첨가율이 증가할수록 경도도 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. This study was investigated on the properties of board made from carbonized rice husk differed in density of board, resin addition ratio and sawdust addition ratio. Water absorption is showed the lowest value to 80.09% when the resin addition ratio of 25%, as the density increased and sawdust addition ratio decreased, the water absorption was decreased. The measured thickness swelling satisfied with the quality standards of KS F 3104, so the feasibility of building interior has been confirmed in the dimensional stability. In case of resin addition ratio of 25%, the internal bond strength was satisfied quality standards of KS F 3104 to 0.244 N/mm<sup>2</sup>. With increasing the density, resin and sawdust addition ratio, brinell hardness increased.

        Properties of Board Manufactured from Sawdust, Ricehusk and Charcoal (톱밥과 왕겨 및 숯을 이용하여 제조한 보드의 성질)

        In this study, the environmentally friendly material charcoal was added to ricehusk, an agricultural by-product, and sawdust, which emerges during the sawing process, to produce board by mixing ratio and concentration levels of ricehusk and charcoal; it then investigated its physical properties for development purposes and achieved the following results. The water absorption and thickness swelling of the compounded board produced per adding ratio of ricehusk and charcoal showed a gradually decreasing tendency along with the increase in adding ratio of the charcoal, and as the density of the compounded board increased, the water absorption decreased, while the thickness swelling increased. The internal bond strength of the compounded board had indicated its highest value of 0.49N/mm<sup>2</sup> at the density of 0.7g/cm<sup>3</sup>. This satisfied the quality standard for KSF 3104 Particleboard. The internal bond strength of the compounded board manufactured per adding ratio of ricehusk and charcoal showed a steady decrease with the decrease in the adding ratio of ricehusk, and an increase in the addingratio of the charcoal. Also, in cases when the ratio of the ricehusk and charcoal by KSF 3104 quality standard were 35:5 and 30:10, it satisfied the quality standard of 15.0-type, whereas it satisfied the 13.0-type quality standard if the ratios were 25:15 and 20:20. It showed a tendency of increasing hardness of the compounded board with the increase in density, and decreasing hardness with the increase in the adding ratio of the charcoal.

        동거 및 독거노인의 우울이 자살사고에 미치는 영향과 대인관계의 조절효과

        본 연구는 동거 및 독거노인 각각의 자살사고에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇이며, 특히 대인관계의 조절효과는 어떠한지 알아보기 위하여 15,246명의 강원도 내 거주 노인으로부터 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 연구의 주요 결과는 첫째, 독거노인의 자살사고가 동거노인보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 독거노인에서 남성의 자살사고가 여성보다 높았다. 셋째, 노인의 자살사고에 우울과 자살시도 경험이 가장 큰 영향력을 가지고 있었다. 넷째, 노인의 자살사고에 신체적 건강과 나이가 영향을 미치고 있었다. 다섯째, 동거노인은 경제적 상태가 이들의 자살사고에 영향을 미치고 있었던 반면에 독거노인은 문제음주가 영향을 미치고 있었다. 여섯째, 독거노인의 우울이 자살사고에 미치는 영향에서 이웃과의 연락 빈도가 조절효과를 가지고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 인간적 접촉을 강화하는 노인자살 예방방안들을 제언하였다. 본 연구는 국내에서 자살률이 가장 높은 강원도를 대단위 표집으로 연구한 의미가 있으나 이러한 연구지역 범위를 고려하여 연구결과를 일반화해야 한다. The aim of this study is to examine what factors affect on suicidal ideation of the elderly living together and the elderly living alone, especially how the personal relation has the moderating effects. Data from 15,246 elder living in Gangwon province were analysed. The main findings were as follows. First, the suicidal ideation of the elderly living alone was higher than the elderly living together. Second, the suicidal ideation of men were higher than women in the group of the elderly living alone. Third, the suicidal ideation of the elderly was most strongly affected by depression and suicidal attempt. Fourth, physical health and age affected on suicidal ideation of the elderly. Fifth, the suicidal ideation of the elderly living together was affected by financial condition, but the elderly living alone was affected by problem drinking. Sixth, the frequency of contacts with neighborhood had moderating effects in the affection of depression on suicidal ideation of the elderly living alone. Finally, strategies of improving human contacts for suicide prevention of the elderly are suggested. This study has regional significance because it was conducted with large sampling in Gangwon province that has the highest ratio of suicide. But we need to generalize the results with caution considering regional limits.

        톱밥·귤박 혼합보드로 제조한 세라믹의 물리적 성질

        본 연구는 제재과정에서 발생하는 톱밥과 농업부산물인 귤박의 새로운 활용 방안을 찾기 위하여 수행되었다. 귤박혼합율 및 밀도별로 혼합보드를 제조한 후 수지함침율, 탄화온도 및 귤박혼합율별로 세라믹화 하여 물리적 성질을 조사하였다. 수지함침율이 증가할수록 두께와 길이감소율 및 밀도는 증가하였고, 중량감소율은 감소하였다. 탄화온도가 증가할수록 중량감소율은 증가되었고, 길이와 두께 감소율은 1000℃까지 증가하고 그 이후의 증가는 완만하였다. 귤박혼합율이 높을수록 중량과 두께 및 길이 감소율은 감소하였다. This study was carried out to explore a new application of the by-products sawdust, formed during sawing and mandarin peels which are agricultural by-products. The boards were manufactured by mixing the sawdust and mandarin peels at different mixing ratio and density. The boards were then converted to ceramics by various percentage of resin impregnation and at different carbonization temperatures. As the percentage of resin impregnation increased, the weight loss was decreased; on the other hand, density, linear shrinkage and thickness shrinkage increased. As the carbonization temperature increased, the weight loss was increased and linear thickness shrinkage increased to 1000℃ and the subsequent increase was insufficient. As the percentage of mandarin peels addition increased, the weight loss, linear shrinkage and thickness shrinkage was decreased.

        Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients with bile duct invasion have a poor prognosis because many do not receive effective treatment. Surgical resection is thought to be only option of curative treatment, increasing chance of survival, but it is possible to minor group of patients because of poor reserved liver function associated with underlying liver disease and obstructive jaundice. Therefore many clinicians or centers still select locoregional therapy such as transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), radiation therapy (RT) etc. Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) is new technology providing very highly conformal ablative radiation dose for a small numbers (1-5 fractions) of large fraction size and is expected to salvage modality for HCC showed incomplete response of TACE due to vascularity or accessibility of feeding artery. Based on above suggestions, we herein offer our experience of a patient with partial remission of tumor by combination therapy of TACE, SBRT and sorafenib. Further study, maybe regarding a combination of locoregional and systemic therapy (so called multidisciplinary approach), is necessary on how to manage HCC patients with bile duct invasion or sparse vascularity.

        Extrahepatic metastasis (EHM) associated with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has been increasing due to prolonged survival with recent advances in therapeutic approaches including locoregional therapy such as transarterial chemoemoblization (TACE), radiofrequency ablation and radiation therapy (RT). Though many guidelines recommended systemic therapy such as sorafenib in this situation, some clinicians or centers still select locoregional therapy because the survival improvement of 2 or 3 months by sorafenib is far from optimal. Moreover, some studies showed that complete and partial response of intrahepatic tumors can result in significant improvement of patient survival even in situation of EHM. Based on above suggestions, we herein offer our experience of a patient with complete remission of intrahepatic tumor and adrenal gland metastasis treated with combination therapy of TACE and RT and sorafenib. Further study, maybe regarding a combination of locoregional and systemic therapy (so called multidisciplinary approach), is necessary on how to manage HCC patients with EHM.
