        계단 오르내리기가 혈압, 혈중 지질 및 건강체력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of the study is to identify the effects of worker’s stair-climbing on blood pressure, lipid profiles, and physical fitness. Methods: After recruiting 114 healthy adult women aged 20 to 64 years who have had sedentary for more than 3 months, we divided into two groups: the stair group (SG, n=57) and control group (CG, n=57). SG was supposed to do stair-climbing in daily life like workplace and home for 12 weeks. To investigate the effects of the lifestyle changing of stair-climbing, resting blood pressure, heart rate (HR), and lipid profiles were measured before and after 12-week stair-climbing. Also, physical fitness items such as peak oxygen consumption (VO2peak), back muscle strength, sit and reach, isokinetic strength of knee joint, static and dynamic balance were measured. Results: As a result of the 12-week lifestyle changing of stair-climbing, resting systolic blood pressure (SBP; p<0.05) and HR (p<0.01) were significantly decreased in SG. Low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) was significantly reduced in SG (p<0.05). There was a significant improvement in the VO2peak (p<0.001). There were a significant improvement in back strength (p<0.001) and bilateral knee extensor (60o/sec: p<0.05, p<0.01, 180o/sec: p<0.01, p<0.01) and knee flexor (180o/sec: p<0.01, p<0.05) of isokinetic strength. There were significant improvements in static balance of one leg standing eye-closed (p<0.05) and dynamic balance of left/right velocity (p<0.01), forward/backward velocity (p<0.01). Conclusion: In this study, 12 weeks of lifestyle changing of stair-climbing improved SBP, resting HR, LDL-C, VO2peak, back and knee strength, static and dynamic balance as well as increased physical activity volume of stair-climbing in the daily living.

        8.3% Carbamide Peroxide 함유 펜 형 자가미백제인 BIancTis Forte의 색조개선 및 안전성에 관한 임상연구

        This clinical study evaluated the whitening effect and safety of polymer based-pen type BlancTis Forte(NIBEC) containing 8.3% carbamide peroxide. Twenty volunteers used the BlancTis Forte whitening agent for 2 hours twice a day for 4 weeks As a control. Whitening Effect Pen (LG) containing 3% hydrogen peroxide was used by 20 volunteers using the same protocol. The change in shade (ΔE^(*) color difference) was measured using Shadepilot™ (DeguDent) before, during and after bleaching (2 weeks, 4 weeks and postbleaching 4 weeks). A clinical examination for any side effects (tooth hypersensitivity or soft tissue complications) was also performed at each check-up. The following results were obtained. 1 Both the experimental and control groups displayed a noticeable change in shade (ΔE) of over 2 No significant differences were found between the two group (p>0.05) implying that the two agents have a similar whitening effect. 2 The whitening effect was mainly due to changes in a and b values rather than in L value (brightness). The experimental group showed a significantly higher change in b value thus yellow shade than the control(p < 0.05) 3 None of the participants complained of tooth hypersensitivity or soft tissue complications confirming the safety of both whitening agents 8.3%의 carbamide peroxide를 함유한 펜형 코팅용 미백제인 BlancTis Forte (NIBEC, Seosul & JinCheon)를 실험군으로, 3% hydrogen peroxide를 함유한글 Whitening Effect Pen (LG. Seoul) 제재를 대조군으로 각각 피험자 20명에게 2시간씩 1일 2회 제조사의 지시대로 치아표면에 4주간 적용하도록 지시하고 색조개선 효능과 안전성을 평가하였다. 미백 효과는 미백 전 및 미백 2주, 4주 및 미백 종료 4주 후에 Shadopilot™을 이용하여 색 변화를 측정하였고, 매 내원시기마다 모든 환자는 치수생활력 검사와 치주 및 치태 검사를 통해 부작용 여부 (치아과민증 및 구감 내 연조직의 부작용)를 기록한 후 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1.실험군 및 대조군의 색 변화량 (ΔE)은 2이상으로 인지할 수 있는 색 변화를 보였으며, 두 제품 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않아 (p > 0.05) 유사한 미백효능을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 2,미백효과는 명도의 개선보다는 주로 a. b값의 변화에 의한 것으로 특히 실험군에서 b값의 변화, 즉 황색조의 개선효과가 대조군에 비해 유의성 있게 높은 것으로 나타났다 (p <0.05). 3.치아나 치은의 과민증이나 이상증상을 호소하는 피험자는 없어 두 제품 모두 안전성을 확인할 수 있었다.

      • 국내 외래 양서·파충류 인공 번식 현황

        In the late 1990s, American bullfrogs and red-eared sliders, imported for food, pets, and religious events in South Korea. By natural or artificial factors, however the non-native species were introduced into nature. The Korean government designated the two species as ecosystem disruptors, and subsequently banned imports and transactions because of the risk to the nature. Unfortunately, with the recent expansion of the pet market, more diverse non-native reptiles are being imported into the country. This increase in imports of non-native organisms is linked to an increase in potential inflows to ecosystem and confounding threats. A recent survey found that nearly 20 species of non-native amphibian-reptiles discovered in the wild. Furthermore non-native amphibian-reptiles are actively bred by people for hobby or profit reason, but it has not been determined how many amphibians and reptiles are artificially bred in South Korea. Therefore in this study, we investigated how various non-native amphibian-reptiles are subject to artificial reproduction. For the collection of data, all non-native amphibian-reptiles were collected from 1st to 31st August 2021. We used searching engine such as Google, YouTube, Naver, and Daum to find breeding recorded. Keywords that can be related to artificial breeding such as "cultivation, breeding, non-native species, and rare species were used to gain accurate data. In the collected data, it was divided into 1) breeding period, 2) breeding location, 3) breeding target species, 4) success or failure of breeding, and 5) breeding subjects. We found 368 cases of artificial breeding. The first case was recorded in 2008 with Burmese python (1 case) and have since increased steadily until 2021. The most of breeding recorded in 2021, with 117 (31.7%) cases. Artificial breeding took place at a total of 146 locations, Gyeonggi-do has the most abundant site of 57 locations, followed by Seoul has 30 locations, Chungnam has 15 locations, Incheon has 10 locations and Gyeongbuk has 8 locations. The breeding population (n=368) had the largest number of 126 lizard cases (34.2%) with 94 snakes, 92 turtles, 54 frogs and 2 salamander cases. There was a total of 129 non-native amphibian-reptiles that were subject to reproduction. Among them, Leopard Gecko was 42 cases followed by corn snake 33, king snake 17, and ball python 17. From 350 cases that identified the breeding results, 75.4% (264) were successful (hatching). 226 cases of breeding were conducted by individuals this is twice as many as 113 cases by companies. The breeding of non-native amphibian-reptiles tended to be concentrated mainly in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, the metropolitan area. A total of 677 species of non-native amphibian-reptiles were announced in 2019, 19.1% of which were subject to artificial breeding. Among the various non-native amphibian-reptiles, Leopard gecko had the highest frequency of reproduction, which can be related to various factors such as low breeding difficulty, high selling price, and high reproduction rate. A risk assessment of the top 10 species including Leopard gecko will need to be made for preparing the potential introduction into nature. Considering the more cases of individual breeding than businesses and the success rate of breeding exceeds 70%, there is a possibility that the number of non-native amphibian-reptiles will increase rapidly in the future. Therefore management and safeguards for artificial reproduction by individuals and companies must be prepared.
