In this paper, we propose a logical video editing method which improves conventional video editing system. And we propose a new video structuring method for reconstructuring a 'structured logical video' which adds logical video information to a conventional structured video. The proposed structured video is reconstructed in logical unit like episodes as well as in physical unit like shots. It can support many video functions and may be reusable in many video applications - video browsing, video retrieval, video editing, etc. We also present the video database management system in order to manage the proposed structured video. Also, we design and implement video retrieval and editing system using the proposed logical structure.

In this paper, we propose a content-based news video retrieval system. And we propose efficient indexing and retrieval of news video using key frames. It is used in the experiments to demonstrate that text segmentation and text recognition are suitable for indexing and retrieval of relevant news video scenes in and from a video database. and we implemented the content based umage retrieval system that indexes and retrieves the images by extracting edges from the object.

In this paper, a cutting method of rolled steel in rolling mill is proposed. Because rolled still cut automatically by image analysis of it captured from camera, proposed method have more minimal loss and error ratio. Specially proposed system used not expensive image frame grabber but inexpensive video overlay board.

It can support many video functions and may be reusable in many video applications - video browsing, video retrieval, video editing, etc. We also present the video database management system in order to manage the proposed structured video. Also, we design and implement video retrieval system using GUI(Graphic User Interface, Icon) or CUI(Character User Interface) and editing system using the proposed logical structure.
모폴로지칼 계층적 구조를 이용한 3차원 거리 영상의 인식에 관한 연구

The segmentation and classification of range image is essential and significant problem to recognize 3-D objects. The range image is divided into surface primitives which are homogeneous in their intrinsic differential geometric properties and do not contain discontinuities in either depth or surface orientation. Generally surface curvature is well-known feature for segmentation and classification of the range image, but it is sensitivie to noise. In this paper, one way to solve the noise problem is to model by morphological hierarchical structure of surface feature. The hierarchical structure of surface feature is robust to noise and the result of segmentation is better than conventional method of one level.
