        감각통합훈련이 교육가능 정신지체아동의 협응성 발달에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of sensory integration program on the motor coordination in the educable mental retardation students. The subjects were 11 boys who were 15 years old and the level of IQ is 68~78. The subjects divided to experimental group and control group. The experimental group received play program for 2 days a week during 20 weeks. All subjects received the pre and post test in the same method. The result of this study is as follows ; The experimental group was improved in the static coordination, general movement coordination but there were nonsignificant. Otherwise, hands-coordination showed improved significantly(p<.05). In conclusion, the result of this study is supported the applicability sensory integration program on development program of coordination in the educable mental retardation students.

        제주시내 초등학교 5 학년 어린이의 체격과 식생태에 관한 조사연구(2) : 어린이의 체격과 어머니의 식습관

        This survey was conducted to investigate the relation of children's obesity index to their mothers' food habit during the October in 1995. The survey covered a total of 492 mothers whose children were in the fifth grade of elementary schools in Cheju City area. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The surveyed children's average WLI(Weight-Length Index) is 107.08. WLI shows that 16.1% of them are overweight, 16.1% obese and 49.8% ideally weighted. The mothers' average BMI(Body Mass Index) is 22.4. 21.8% of them are underweight and 69.4% normal. The children's obesity index is significantly correlated to their fathers', but not significant to their mothers'. 2. As to the food habit I (balance of nutrients intake), 58.4% of the mothers have 'excellent' or 'good' food habit and the mean score is 14.95 out of maximum possible score 24.0. Concerning to the food habit II (intake of sugar, fat and salt etc.), 87.4% of mothers have 'good' or 'fair' food habit and the mean score of is 13.34 out of maximum (possible score) 20.0. The mothers' food habit I and II, as a whole, have no significant effect on the children's obesity index, but in some items the significant relations are founded. The children's obesity index is significantly related to the intake of eggs (P<0.05) and pan-broiled or fried foods (P<0.05). The amount of mothers' food intake is significantly relevant to their obesity index (P<0.001), but not significantly to their children's. The food habit of mothers who have taken midnight snack almost every day are significantly related to their children's obesity index (P<0.05). The findings of the study emphasize the importance of the nutrition education to ensure health and better physical fitness for children and their mothers.

        장애학생의 체육통합교육에 관한 소고

        Today, the direction of the service to students with disabilities is geared to integration. The purpose of this study is to define the possibilities of integration of students with disabilities into public education system, and identify the problems and solutions to promote integration of students with disabilities in physical education class setting. The integration for students with disabilities is based on the least restrictive environment(LRE), the principle regulate the right that students with disabilities should be able to receive education with normal students or least restrictive environment. At present, integration is executed at only few schools in Korea. Especially, in physical education class, the students with disabilities participate by watching others act. According to the research(Cho, 1982) for students with disabilities, it is reported that students with disabilities want to participate actively, if they can. Critical problems and issues in the current integration practices are identified and analyzed in order to fine out the ways of facilitates integration of students with disabilities into public school. Four concrete conditions: teaching method, educational environment, teachers and a period of education are suggested for the purpose of promoting the integration of students with disabilities in terms of enhancing the total quality of adapted physical education in Korea.

        The purpose of this study is to develop the therapeutic exercise program for walking pattern of the persons with cerebral palsy. Before a exercise program is initiated for persons with the cerebral palsy, his personal limitations and abilities should be clearly understood. Exercises selected for the cerebral palsied will be determined by the kind and severity of the disability. Suggested for general therapeutic exercises program for walking patters of cerebral palsied are as follows; 1. Passive exercise 2. Active- assistive exercise 3. Active exercise 4. Resistive exercise 5. Stretching exercise 6. Special exercise program 7. Functional exercise muscle reducation exercise, stimulation exercise of leg muscle and skin neurokinesiological method. The approach methods of therapeutic exercise are ①massage, ②passive exercise, ③active-assistive exercise, ④active exercise, ⑤resistive exercise, ⑥condition motion, ⑦automatic confused motion ⑧combined motion ⑨relaxation : balance, reciprocal motion, ⑩walking exercise

      • 장애인 생활체육 실태에 관한 조사연구

        The purpose of the study to investigate and analyze the realities for the social physical deucation with those of handicapped(937 persons) in korea except for Je-ju. The distinction of sex was male(75.1%), female(24.9%), the area distribution was kyung-gi(27.8%), Seoul(36.0%). The age-distribution was 23-30 years(39.9%), 31-40years(28.0%), 11-20years(15.0%) and the school career was high school(39.9%), special high school(12.9%), junior high school(11.6%), university(10.8%). The difficulty foams were polio-myelitis(27.2%), amputation(20.0%), cerebral palsy(15.0%). The appearance stage was 1-6years(27.6%), 20-30years(25.8%), 0-6years(23.1%). The difficulty causes were accident(37.2% ), disease(35.0%). The men to need social physical education(96.2%) were vocational trainer (61.5%), office clerk(60.4%), person without a regular occupation(59.7%), specialist(56.1%). Items were table tennis(20.7%), badminton(12.8%), walk (8.1%), volley ball(6.2%), basket ball(5.4%), foot ball (5.2%). Many man(31.6%) were unsatisfactory in question of the satisfaction, insufficiency of the sports facilities came out the largest reason. They followed the leader(25.6%), sports specialists of them were 37.6%, also they(46%) answers that sports facilities were insufficient. The place to practice sports was special facilities for handicapped(49.8%), howe(17.2%), public facilties(15.7%). The most(70.7%) had trouble to use the sports facilities. They liked badminton(22.0%) best of all, subsequently table tennis(21.0%) bowling(8.0%) and wanted the special facilities for the handicapped extremely. Lastly the need for the activity of social physical education was the expension in sports facilities(46%), the development and extention of program(22.8%), the reorganigation of full responsible sytem(16.2%), and the extention of leader(13.5%).

        그룹게임활동이 자폐아동의 자폐증 평정(Autism rating)에 미치는 효과

        Thc purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of group game activity on autism rating of children with autism. The subject were administered 14 children with ages ranged form 8 to 12 years old. The study was used group game activity during the period of 12 months, once a week, 40 minute a day. The test of autism rating was used by the Childhood Autism Rating Scale(CARS) devised by E. Schopler, R. J. Reichler & B. R. Renner in 1988. The collected material was analyzed using the Paired Samples T-Test. Mean Analysis, which had been based on SPSS-WIN 10.0 program. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. Autism rating score of autistic children was decreased after participated in group game activity. 2. There were significantly difference in the score of autism rating which are emotional reaction, use of substance, fear or nervousness, non-verbal communication, relationship with person, use of body, reaction of hearing, reaction and use about the sense of taste·smell·touch and level of activity. 3. The group game activity had influenced on the boys. 1-3 grade students and the middle status than the girls, 4-6 grade students, and the middle-high status. It could be concluded in this study that the continually participation of group game activity of autism children helps to decrease autistic behavior.

        노인여성들의 운동지속이 신체적 기능과 우울증에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of continuous exercise on physical function and depression of elderly women, and to provide a basic guideline for the welfare and rehabilitation policy of the aged. The subjects at the G sport center in seoul, were 60 elderly women who participated in an exercise program(swirnming, aerobic) more than six times per week, 50 minutes per day, over a period 6 months, and 60 elderly women who did not participate in exercises. The result of the test were analyzed by x^2 -test, t-test, discriminant and classification analysis and correlation of SAS package program. The result of this study were as follows : First, there was a significant difference in blood pressure, heart rate, balance, flexibility, abdominal muscle strength between the elderly women who continue to exercise and those who do not (P <.05, P <.001). In addition, a comparison of the effect of the exercise on each of the physical factors is given, in decreasing order, as stroke volume, flexibility, grip strength and heart beat rate. Second, the elderly women who continue to exercise have high scores in agitation and cognitive efficiency, compared to those who do not. The difference is statistically significant (P <.05). A comparison of the effect of the exercise on each of the physical factors is given, in decreasing order, as agitation, cognitive efficiency and a core depression feature.
