        The purpose of this study is to research the rational and scientific method of management in the official documents by analysing what to be reflected and to be controlled on the school administration as well as the students' educational activities and finding the problem through the actual condition of the official documents in school. This study deals with the offices which dispatched the official documents, analysis of the contents, disposal, and the cases of the official documents. This paper was based on the literature and analysing the documents that were sent at four highlschools which are located in Ch'onan in 1985. As the result of examining and analysing the teachers' opinions about the official documents, it can be summarized as followings. 1. Institutions of dispatch and the Kinds of the official documents are shown as followings. 283 institutions sent the official documents to high schools, 2460 cases were accepted, and 732 cases were dispatched The total contains 3192 cases. Accepted 1453 cases (59.1%) were those which were sent out from the educational administration. 2. The contents of the official documents are as followings. 69.4% (1709 cases) of the official documents are related to the general administrations, 17.1 % (421 cases) are related to the educational activities, and 13.5% (332 cases) are sent from territorial society, which needs concerted action. 3. The increase in number of the official documents shows an aspect as followings. Comparing with the documents which were sent in 1971 110% (148 institutions) of the dispatched institutions increased, 62.2% (954 cases) of their kinds increased. 4. 61.0% of the official documents were managed by teachers, 39.0% of them were managed by the general officers. 5. According to the teachers' opinion, 76% of them think that the official documents don't give any help to their school management and the teachers' educational activities. 60% of them think much official documents make them waste their time and efforts. 89% of them feel inconvience for their guidance of the students. School have to receive and dispatch the official documents to keep its function. As a result of examining and analysing the present actual condition of the official documents, teachers feel inconvience to do their educational activities because they have to receive so much official documents and receive much more different official documents besides the educational ones. Therefore regardness about management of official documents in school is as followings. 1. The management of the official documents must be simplified. 2. Government office have to get ride of uniformed bad habit by order, and have to respect school's autonomy. 3. Each office and organization of society have to try not to infringe school's speciality. Therefore school must be the place to teach and learn, and the teachers have to devote themselves to only the students' development.
