As environmental regulations on exhaust gases are strongly enforced, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of ships. It is important to improve the performance of the heat exchanger to improve the efficiency of the ship by using the thermoelectric power generation system. A comparison of heat transfer performance for the geometric parameter of the curved fin was performed through numerical analysis. A thermoelectric power generation system was modeled using the physical properties of the tec1-12706 module and a computational analysis was performed. It was confirmed that the heat transfer performance of the curved fin was superior to that of the straight fin, and the radius of curvature and height variables were analyzed. This research expects that the thermoelectric power generation could be maximized by improving the performance of the heat exchanger using curved fin that is superior to the straight fin generally used in the heat exchanger.
