The main goal of this article is to reflect on the“Abide Bear Fruit Consultation”(hereafter called ABFC) held in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2017, in order to make abiding in Jesus the first priority and basic methodology of mission. In some way, it seems numerous global gatherings and networks tend to focus on tools and methods for reaching Muslims. ABFC doesn’t undermine these tools and methods, but emphasizes an ultimate and fundamental issue in relation to world mission to Muslims. As a Korean participant and a practitioner who is serving and working among Muslims in Central Asia and attended the ABFC, I present personal reflection and perspectives on missional implications of the consultation. I will review historical background of Vision 5:9 network which facilitated ABFC. Furthermore, I will attempt to convey the context and outcome of the 2017 ABFC in the conclusion and articulate the missional implications and challenges/remaining tasks of the Korean church.
온도분포 해석 해와 유한요소법을 이용한 대형 강판의 용접변형 해석

Welding distortions of large steel structures had mainly been estimated with some simplified formula obtained by lots of experience and numerical analyses for small steel structures. However, the large structures would have different characteristics of distortion with welding because of their own stiffness coming from the size itself. Therefore, in order to find some measures for preventing welding distortion of large structure, it is requite in advance to precisely analysis thermal stress and distortion during welding of the structure. Numerical analysis for larger structure has been known to take large amount of calculation time and have a poor convergency problem during the thermo-elasto-plastic calculation. In this study, a hybrid method is proposed to analysis the thermal stress and distortion of a large steel plate with the finite element analysis by incorporating with temperature distribution of the plate calculated by an analytical solution. The proposed method revealed that the thermo-mechanical analysis for welding of the large structure could be performed with a good convergence and produced precise results with much reduced time consumption.
LNG 재기화 공정 중 발생하는 미활용 LNG 냉열 회수를 위한 유기랭킨사이클 시스템 설계에 관한 연구

In this study, we carried out system design about organic Rankine cycle combined with LNG regasficiation plant for recovering LNG cold energy into electricity. The influence of two design variables on net power are mainly investigated for properly determining distribution of heating duty for LNG regasification and size allocation of heat exchanger in the system. The results show possibility to maximize net power by optimizing size allocation of heat exchanger and heating duty for LNG regasification, when the total heat exchanger size given to the system is determinate. In addition, absorbing more LNG cold energy does not guarantee to convert more cold energy into electricity.
냉방기의 운전조건에 따른 최적 냉매량 변화에 관한 연구

히트 펌프 시스템에서 냉매는 과부족 시 성능저하의 원인이 되기 때문에 최적의 충전량을 예측하고 제어하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 시스템의 성능 향상을 위한 이러한 최적 냉매 충전량은 장치의 성능 및 사양에 따라 변하지만 다양한 운전 조건에 따라서도 변한다. 본 연구에서는 여러 운전 조건 및 냉매 충전량 변화에 따른 실험 연구를 복합적으로 수행하여 히트 펌프의 성능 특성을 규명하고 냉매량 최적화를 위한 기초자료를 제시한다. 항온 항습 챔버 실험을 통해 검증한 결과 가장 알맞은 냉매량은 8 kg에서 9 kg까지 다양한 것을 알 수 있고, 최대 COP를 나타내는 지점을 기준으로 경향성을 파악하여 100 g 단위로 최적 냉매량의 예측이 가능하다. 외기 조건, 과열도, 압축기의 속도를 변화시켜 실험한 결과 압축기의 속도가 냉매 충전량에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였으며, 향후 히트 펌프의 성능을 최대화하기 위해서는 다양한 운전조건의 변화에 따라 냉매량의 효율적 제어 알고리즘이 필요하다.
