하수관거 통수능 해석을 위한 Huff 모형과 ABM 법의 적용성 분석

The sewer capacity design have been based on the Huff model or the rational equation in South Korea and often failed to determine optimal capacity, resulting in frequent urban flooding or over-sizing. A time distribution of rainfall (i.e., Huff or ABM method) could be used instead of a rainfall hyetograph obtained from statistical analysis of previous rainfalls. In this study, the Huff method and the ABM method, which predict the time distribution of rain intensity, which are widely used to calculate sewage pipe drainage capacity using the SWMM, were compared with the standard rainfall intensity hyetograph of Seoul. If the rainfall duration was 30 minutes to 180 minutes, the rainfall intensity value calculated by the Huff model tended to be less than the rainfall intensity value of the standard rainfall intensity in the initial 5-10 minutes. As a result, more than 10% to 30% of under-design would be made. In addition, the rainfall intensity value calculated by the Huff model from the section excluding the initial 5-10 minutes of rainfall to the rainfall duration was calculated larger than the value using the standard rainfall intensity equation, which would result in an over-design of 10% to 30%. In the case of a relatively long rainfall duration of 360 minutes (6 hours) to 1,440 minutes (24 hours), it showed an lower rainfall intensity of 60 to 90% in the early stages of rainfall, but the problem of under-design had been solved as the rainfall duration time had elapsed. On the other hand, in the alternating block method (ABM) method, it was found that the rainfall intensity at the entire period at each assumed rainfall duration accurately matched the standard rainfall intensity hyetograph of Seoul.

Average pressure in a pipe network is one of critical factors to estimate the flow distribution and to calculate UARL (Unavoidable Annual Real Losses) value in ILI (Infrastructure Leakage Index). While its collection period and measuring location are essential to obtain average pressure, their standard method have not been established so far. In this study, proper method including its procedure for data collection period and measuring point for average pressure were suggested using non-exceedance probability concept in the water distribution network.

This studies were carried out to process modeling of ginseng vinegar by Pung-Gi ginseng. In the first stage , ginseng extract were inoculated by Acetobacter sp. contain 14˚Brix sugar content. In the second stage, the acetic acid fermentation conditions for maximum acidity were for 5days at 30℃ and 120rpm in agitation contain 1% acetate, 3% ethanol,10% ginseng extract, respectively. Finally, predicted level of acetic acid production at the conditions was 4.96%.
대도시 사용수량의 추정에 있어서 시계열경향분석법의 특성에 관한 비교연구

This study is to investigate the characteristics of the time series methods for the water demand forcasting in large cities. For this purpose, four cities, such as Seoul, Taeku, Taegeon and Kyoto were taken as study areas. The results are as follows: 1. The coefficients of the arithmetical progression model and the geometrical progression model should be determined using the least square method. 2. The modified exponential function model should not be applied to the cities which show significant growth rates of the water demands in recent years. 3. When the saturation value(k) is determined as the value between 500 to 600 lpcd for the cities where he water demand is still increasing significantly, the forecasted value can be underestimated. 4. Prospects of the future demands as well as MSE values of models should be considered in the determination of the model applied.
