Bioinspired Adhesive Coating on PET Film for Antifouling Surface Modification

One of the most common approaches to preparing antifouling surfaces is the immobilization of poly(ethyleneglycol), which is known as PEGylation. In addition, the catechol functional group of dopamine (3,4-dihydroxyphenethylamine)has the capacity to create a strong coordinate bond with inorganic and organic surfaces in an aqueousenvironment. We synthesized novel polyaspartamide derivatives containing poly(ethylene glycol) and catechol pendantgroups, and the same polymers in a pH-controlled aqueous solution were successfully employed to modify apoly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) surface using a simple immersion method. Contact angle measurements, X-rayphotoelectron spectroscopy, attenuated total reflectance-infrared spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy were usedto verify the surface coating on the PET substrate. Also, the cytotoxicity and antifouling properties were evaluatedby protein adsorption and platelet adhesion tests of the coated materials. This biocompatible polymer has potentialas an adhesive coating and for the surface modification of various biomaterials.

1982년 2월부터 7∼8월까지 6回에 걸쳐 緯度 36˚00′∼37˚20′와 西海岸으로부터 東經 125˚00′에 이르는 해역을 19個 海區로 구분하여 卵稚魚를 조사한 결과를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 조사기간 중 출현한 魚卵은 6種, 稚魚는 42種 이었다. 卵은 멸치와 동갈양태類의 卵만이 분류되었고 치어는 29種이 屬 또는 種까지 분류되었다. 2. 멸치의 卵은 5월부터, 稚魚는 6월부터 출현했다. 최고의 卵出現은 6월 정점 26에서 77,511 個體/1,000㎥였고, 치어는 7∼8월 정점 28에서 2,780尾/1,000㎥였다. 이와 같은 현상을 볼 때 조사해역에서의 멸치 主産卵時期는 6월이며 主産卵場은 於靑島, 外煙列島, 格列飛列島부근으로 産卵 適水溫 및 適鹽分度는 約 17℃와 32‰로 판단된다. 孵化直後 치어는 연안쪽에서 주로 서식하나 7∼8월이 되면 수온이 높은 연안보다는 수온이 낮은 외해쪽이 主 棲息場으로 판단된다. 3. 등갈양태類의 産卵은 멸치의 산란습성과 비슷하여 主産卵時期는 6월, 主産卵場은 남쪽연안의 정점 25 부근이며, 산란 적수온 및 적염분도는 約 19℃와 32‰로 판단된다. 동갈양태類의 치어는 出現初期인 6월에는 멸치 치어 분포와 흡사하나 7∼8월에는 멸치보다 다소 高緯度의 연안에서 서식했다. 4. 2월부터 5월까지 출현한 까나리 치어는 2월에 가장 많은 출현량을 보였고 그 후 계속 減少했다. 2월에는 출현한 치어들 가운데 가장 優占的이었고, 3월, 4월에도 베도라치類 치어를 제외하면 가장 優勢했다. 主産卵時期는 1∼2월이며 조사해역 안에서의 主産卵場은 水溫 約 4℃, 鹽分度 約 33‰의 於靑島부근으로 판단된다. 또 치어는 外海쪽과 북쪽연안으로 回遊하며, 3월경부터는 浮遊幼生期를 마치고 표층에시 지층으로 移動하기 시작했다. 5. 망둑어類의 치어는 5월에서 7∼8월까지 출현했고 主 分布時期는 6월이었다. 또 外海쪽에서는 전혀 나타나지 않고, 남쪽보다는 북쪽에서 출현이 우세했던 점을 볼 때 主産卵時期는 5∼6월이고 主 産卵場은 수온 約 15℃, 염분도 約 32‰의 정점 4부근으로 思料된다. 6. 이외에도 2월에는 줄공치, 농어, 장갱이, 쥐노래미, 꼼치類, 볼낙類, 3월에는 넙치, 4월에는 둑중개類, 각시가자미類, 은어, 뱀장어, 5월에는 실고기 6월에는 전이, 붕장어, 쏨뱅이, 개볼낙, 볼낙양태, 7∼8월에는 준치 꼬치고기, 동갈돔類, 보리멸類, 고등어, 수수망둑, 눈볼대, 미역치類, 참서대類의 치어들이 최초로 출현했다. Fish eggs and larvae in the western waters of Korea are surveyed during the periods from February to August in 1982. Six species of eggs and forty-two species of larvae are occurred in the survey area. The dominant species occurred during the study periods are Ammodytes personatus, Enedrias sp., Engraulis japonica, Callionymus sp., Gobiidae, etc. Major spawning month and ground of each species are estimated from the data, i.e., occurrence month and abundance of eggs and larvae by survey month and area, as well as the optimum water temperature and salinity for spawning.

한국산 Enedrias nebulosus 와 E . fangi 의 외부형태

韓國沿岸에는 여러 종류의 베도라치類(Blennoidea)가 分布하며 그 중 베도라치屬(Enedrias)은 가장 큰 무리를 형성하여 沿岸漁業資源으로서 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 지금까지 한국 연안에서는 Enedrias nebulosus(베도라치)만이 記錄되어 있었으나 本 調査結果 Enedias fangi도 分布함이 發見되었다. 따라서 이 두 種에 대한 外部形態를 調査 比較하였으며 Enedrias fangi의 韓國名을 '흰베도라치'로 提唱하는 바다. Enedrias fangi, which was not yet recorded in Korean fishes fauna, is revealed in Korean coastal waters during the present research period. The external morphology of this species is compared with that of E. nebulosus ('bedorachi' in Korean name). Taking into consideration the morphological differences between two species and the Korean name of E. nebulosus, 'bedorachi', the authors propose 'heenbedorachi' meaning white gunnel as Korean name of this unrecorded species.

아마티아 센과 마사 누스바움에 의해 발전된 역량 접근법은 오늘날 인권을 이 해하는 하나의 유력한 시도로 간주되고 있다. 이들은 몇 가지 점에서 입장을 달 리하지만, 생활수준이나 삶의 질에 관한 문제들을 역량 개념을 통해 해명한다는 점에서 서로 일치한다. 역량 접근법이 지닌 의의는 무엇보다도 현대 인권 논의에 서 논란의 대상이 되는 이른바 제2, 3세대 권리로 인권을 확장시키는 데 기여할 수 있는 풍부한 사유를 제공해준다는 점이다. 그러나 센과 누스바움은 인권이 비 록 도덕적 원칙을 표현한다고 할지라도 법적 형식 역시 가정하지 않으면 안 된다 는 점, 따라서 도덕적 의무로부터 소구 가능한 권리요구로 이행하기 위한 규칙과 절차에 관한 해명이 요구된다는 점을 간과하고 있다. 또한 이들은 역량의 구체적 목록을 작성하거나 이에 기초해 인권을 정당화하고 해석 및 적용할 때 실제적인 공적 토의가 지닌 중요성을 좀 더 진지하게 고려하지 않으면 안 된다. The capabilities approach developed by Amartya Sen and Martha C. Nussbaum has been considered one of the most influential project through which we can understand the contemporary human rights. They reach an agreement in the point that they explain the issues surrounding standard of living or quality of life by the concept of capabilities, while they differ in some respects. The virtue of the capabilities approach is, more than anything else, that it provides us with productive ideas which could contribute to extending human rights into so-called the second and third generations of rights, which arouse controversy over the understanding of human rights. But they disregard the fact that even if human rights express moral principles, the legal form should also be presupposed, and that the rules and procedures which make it possible for moral obligations to turn into justiciable rights claims need to be explained. Moreover, it is essential that they should take into more serious consideration the significance of real public deliberation when we make the concrete lists of capabilities and thereby justify, interpret and apply human rights.
