방한 중국인 관광객의 방문 결정요인에 관한 연구 -정치적, 경제적, 문화적 영향을 중심으로-

Unlike previous studies, which mainly analyzed factors affecting tourism motivation and tourism satisfaction, this study analyzes the political, economic and cultural factors affecting the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea. Empirical results show that political factors such as the Chinese regime, the number of meetings and talks between Korea and China, the number of phone calls between the two countries, and the Korea-China FTA (also as a economic factor) have a significant impact on the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea. In particular, political friendly variables related to economy (ex. Korea-China FTA) has been analyzed to have a more significant positive effect on the number of Chinese tourists to Korea than the factors that create friendly atmosphere only in the political field. In addition to political factors, economic factors such as the Korea-China FTA, and cultural factors such as Korean Wave represented by Korean cosmetics also have a significant impact on the number of Chinese tourists visiting Korea. 관광 동기나 관광만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 주로 분석한 기존 연구들과 달리 본 연구는 방한 중국인 관광객 수에 영향을 미치는 정치적, 경제적, 문화적 요인을 분석하였으며 특히 정치적 요인을 관심변수로 살펴보았다. 실증분석 결과 중국의 정권, 양국 간 회의나 회담 횟수, 양국 정상 간 전화통화 횟수, 한중 FTA(경제적 요인이기도함)의 발효 등 정치적 요인이 방한 중국인 관광객 수에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 경제와 관련된 정치적 우호성(FTA 발효)은 정치적 분야에서만 우호적인 분위기를 형성하는 요소들보다 더 가시적으로 방한 중국인 관광객에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 정치적 요인과 더불어 한중 FTA와 같은 경제적 요인, 그리고 한국화장품으로 대변되는 한류와 같은 문화적 요인도 방한 중국인 관광객 수에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

현재 비즈니스 및 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용되는 워크플로우는 서비스 통합 및 자동화, 동적 흐름 관리, 동시 수행, 실시간 서비스 등의 기능을 제공한다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 서비스들은 사용자와 현재 사용자가 속해 있는 환경으로부터 다양한 정보를 제공받아 상황에 맞는 서비스를 동적으로 제공해야 한다. 이와 같은 서비스를 효과적으로 제공하기 위해서는 서비스의 자동화에 사용되고 있는 워크플로우를 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 적용하고, 상황인지 서비스를 제공하기 위해 상황 정보를 워크플로우의 전이조건으로 명시해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 유비궈터스 환경에서 발생하는 상황 정보를 워크플로우의 서비스 전이조건으로 사용하기 위한 웹 서비스 기반의 워크플로우 언어인 uWDL (Ubiquitous Workflow Description Language)을 제안한다. uWDL은 상황 정보인 컨텍스트, 프로파일 및 이벤트 정보에 따라 사용자 상황에 맞는 서비스를 선택할 수 있다. 또한 uWDL 전용 파서와 컨텍스트 처리기를 통해 uWDL로 기술된 시나리오 문서가 제대로 실행되는지를 검증하였다. 유비쿼터스 환경을 위한 시나리오 설계를 위해 개발자는 uWDL 시나리오 편집기를 이용하여 유쿼비터스 환경의 상황 정보를 고려해 그에 맞는 서비스들의 관계를 워크플로우 형태로 기술함으로써 작업을 통합하고 자동화할 수 있다 Currently workflows in business processes and distributed computing environments have provided service automation by connecting many tasks with rules and/or orderings. The services in ubiquitous computing environments have to automatically provide users with adaptive services according to dynamically changing contort information, which is obtained from both the users and their environment. To adapt these workflows to ubiquitous computing, we must specify the situation information on the transition conditions. In this paper, we propose uWDL, Ubiquitous Workflow Description Language, based on Web Services to use the situation information on the transition constraints of workflow's services. uWDL can select adaptive services according to contexts, profiles, and events information, which are situation information. Furthermore, we verified the execution of a scenario document described with uWDL using the parser and the context handler for uWDL. The scenario developers can use the uWDL scenario editor for a design of scenarios, and they can easily specify the transition condition of the services according the situation information of ubiquitous environments using the uWDL.

Pharyngeal and laryngeal foreign bodies are common problem at ENT clinic. Removal of a foreign body is mostly simple with the manipulation of endoscope and various instruments. Rarely, migration of swallowed sharp foreign body makes complication. We describe a 74-year-old patient diagnosed with foreign body in larynx involving thyroid. In this case, we present this disease and the treatment course which has been successfully treated by surgical removal and conservative treatment. Furthermore, we discuss its symptoms, physical examinations through literature review.

Identification of 12 radiation-resistant bacterial species in the phylum Proteobacteria new to Korea

In 2019, after a comprehensive investigation of indigenous prokaryotic species in Korea, a total of 12 bacterial strains assigned to the phylum Proteobacteria were isolated from soil. With the high 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity (>98.8%) and formation of a robust phylogenetic clade with the closest species, it was determined that each strain belonged to independent, predefined bacterial species. This study identified two species in the family Burkholderiaceae, one species in the family Comamonadaceae, two species in the family Oxalobacteraceae, one species in the family Micrococcaceae, one species in the family Bradyrhizobiaceae, one species in the family Methylobacteriaceae, one species in the family Rhizobiaceae, one species in the family Rhodocyclaceae, and one species in the family Sphingomonadaceae. There is no official report about these 12 species in Korea, so are described as unreported bacterial species in Korea in this study. Gram reaction, basic biochemical characteristics, colony, and cell morphology are also described in the species description section.

경도 인지 장애 노인을 위한 다요인 인지 능력 향상 프로그램의 효과

‘경도인지장애(MCI, Mild Cognitive Impairment)’는 치매 수준에 해당되지 않지만 인지 기능의 저하, 특히 기억력에서 감퇴를 보이는 것을 말한다. 본 연구의 목적은 다요인 인지 능력 향상 프로그램이 MCI 노인의 객관적 인지 능력과 주관적 평가에 효과를 미치는지를 검증하는 것이다. 연구에 참여한 사람은 CERAD-K를 통해 경도인지장애로 진단 받은 노인 32명으로 이들은 각각 프로그램 집단과 통제 집단에 무선적으로 할당 되었다. 다요인 인지 능력 향상 프로그램은 기억 기능 등의 인지 기능에 대한 교육 및 이와 관련된 신념의 인지적 재구조화, 인지 능력 향상 기술 훈련 등의 내용으로 이루어져 있다. 연구 결과, 프로그램에 참여한 집단은 대부분의 인지 기능 수행과 기억 통제감이 유의하게 향상되었고, 기억에 대한 주관적 불편감도 유의한 수준으로 감소하였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 본 프로그램이 MCI 노인들이 경험하는 인지 기능 문제를 감소시키고 기억 관련 신념을 향상시키는데 도움을 줄 수 있다는 것을 시사한다. 향후에는 이러한 프로그램의 단독 효과를 확인하기 위해 약물 처치와 혼합된 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

The incidence of intracranial complications of otitis media have been reduced by use of antibiotics. Therefor subdural abscess caused by otitis media is extremely rare. However, it still represents a challenging situation because of its high mortality rate. We describe a 54-year-old patient diagnosed with acute otitis media. In this case, we experienced ipsilateral subdural abscess as complication of otitis media and incidental contralateral hemiparesis. We present this disease and the treatment course which has been successfully treated by antibiotics. Furthermore, we discuss its symptoms, physical examinations through literature review.
