유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 위한 웹 서비스 기반의 상황인지 워크플로우 언어

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 서비스들은 사용자가 제공하는 정보뿐만 아니라 사용자가 있는 환경이 제공하는 많은 정보들을 이용하여 동적으로 변화하는 환경에서 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 자동으로 제공해야 한다. 비즈니스 및 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용되는 워크플로우는 여러 작업들을 일련의 작업 절차 규칙에 의해 연계시켜 서비스의 자동화를 지원한다. 따라서 서비스의 자동화에 사용되어 왔던 워크플로우를 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 적용하여 상황인지 서비스를 지원하기 위해서는 컨텍스트 정보를 서비스의 전이조건으로 명시해야 한다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 워크플로우를 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 적용하고 워크플로우의 상태 전이 제약조건에 컨텍스트 정보를 명시하기 위한 구조적인 컨텍스트 모델을 제시한다. 또한 이 구조적인 컨텍스트 모델을 사용하기 위해서, 이질적이면서 다양한 플랫폼, 프로토콜 및 언어에 독립적인 표준화된 인터페이스를 제공하는 웹 서비스 기반의 워크플로우 언어인 uWDL을 제안한다. uWDL은 유비쿼터스 환경의 워크플로우 엔진에 의해 해석되고 실행되어 사용자에게 상황인지 기반의 자동화된 서비스를 제공한다. The services for ubiquitous computing environments have to provide automatically user-specific adaptive services in dynamically changed environments with many informations provided by both a user and his/her environment. Workflows used in business and distributed computing environments support service automation by connecting many tasks with rules or orderings of tasks. Therefore we must specify context information on transition condition to support context-aware services by adapting a workflow to ubiquitous computing environments. In this paper, we present a structural context model to specify context information on transition constraints of the workflow. And we propose an uWDL (Ubiquitous Workflow Description Language) based on web services, which provides web service interfaces which are standardized and independent on heterogeneous and various platforms, protocols, and languages. The uWDL can be interpreted and executed by a workflow engine, and provide users autonomic services based on context-awareness.

플립 러닝 환경의 또래 교수에서 초·중학생의 영어 쓰기 능력 및 수업에 대한 만족도 연구

This study aims to investigate the influence of peer tutoring on English writing achievement and learning satisfaction in a flipped-learning class. For this purpose, three fifth graders in elementary school and two second graders in middle school were given a total of 12 experimental classes for 5 weeks and individual interviews were administered. The results of the study show that all of them improved their English writing and were more satisfied with their peer tutoring. Those who had been assessed to be relatively unfamiliar with English writing showed a positive attitude toward writing their thoughts as the class progressed and were shown to write English in consideration of consistency and grammatical elements. The students who first learned what they would learn by flipped learning had no major difficulty in helping their peers. In addition, those who experienced both tutor and tutee improved their confidence, and interaction with peers led to a positive and cooperative class atmosphere. The students who had been fixed to the role of tutee, following instructions, came to understand tutee position by acting as a tutor to lead the class. By making their own examples and asking questions to their peers, they came to understand the process of learning. It shows that learners will be able to experience sincere learning if they are effectively linked with flipped-learning along with various peer tutoring. Based on the findings, some pedagogical implications are provided for peer tutoring on English writing in a flipped-learning class.

유비쿼터스 환경을 위한 웹 서비스 기반의 워크플로우 언어 설계

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 발생하는 컨텍스트와 이를 이용하는 서비스간의 연관 관계를 온톨로지 기반의 기술 방식을 이용하여 효과적으로 표현할 수 있는 uWDL (Ubiquitous Workflow Definition Language)을 소개한다. uWDL은 유비쿼터스 환경의 사용자 특성을 이용하여 그에 맞는 서비스들의 관계를 워크플로우 형태로 기술할 수 있는 언어로, uWDL을 이용하여 서비스들 간의 연관 관계를 기술하므로써 작업의 통합 및 자동화를 이룰 수 있다. 이를 위해 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 웹 서비스(Web Services)의 WSDL을 바탕으로 uWDL의 서비스를 기술하고, 워크플로우에 의해 구성된 서비스들의 연관 관계는 컨텍스트 정보에 따라 동적으로 재구성되어 상황에 맞는 서비스를 제공하게 된다.

In this paper wear ratio, hardness and microstructure were experimented for study of friction wear characteristic of automotive disk brake considering running distance. In this work, 4 specimens were employed for test of the friction&wear tester as a function running distance. Despite the fact that brakes must operate under a variety of environmental conditions, most research has worked in laboratory with ideal condition.

트루타입 폰트에 내장된 한글 비트맵 데이타의 압축

최근에 PDA, IMT-2000, e-Book 등이 보편화되면서 이러한 기기들을 사용하는 사용자의 수가 크게 증가하고 있다. 그러나 아직도 사용가능한 메모리의 크기는 데스크톱 컴퓨터에 비해 상당히 적은 편이다. 이런 제품들에서, 트루타입 폰트는 품질 좋은 글꼴을 요구하는 사용자들이 증가함에 따라 수요가 증가하고 있으며, Windows CE를 탑재한 제품들에서는 기본적으로 사용되고 있다. 하지만 트루타입 폰트의 크기는 PDA와 e-Book과 같은 적은 메모리를 가진 제품들의 상당히 많은 공간을 차지하게 된다. 그러므로 트루타입 폰트의 크기를 줄이려는 노력이 요구된다. 본 논문은 트루타입 폰트에 내장된 비트맵 데이타(EBDT) 중에 한글 부분만을 줄이기 위해 2 단계의 압축과정을 거친다. 1 단계에서는 비트맵을 초성, 중성, 종성의 형태로 분리하여 합성 비트맵으로 구성하고, 2 단계에서는 분리된 각각의 비트맵들의 중복을 조사하여 제거하게 된다. 본 논문은 한글 완성형과 조합형 트루타입에 내장된 비트맵을 압축하였으며, 완성형 폰트의 경우 35%, 조합형 폰트의 경우 7%의 압축률을 보인다. 또한 완성형 트루타입의 경우 전체 트루타입 폰트의 9.26%의 압축률을 보인다. As PDA, IMT-2000, and e-Book are developed and popular in these days, the number of users who use these products has been increasing. However, available memory size of these machines is still smaller than that of desktop PCs. In these products, TrueType fonts have been increased in demand because the number of users who want to use good quality fonts has increased, and TrueType fonts are of great use in Windows CE products. However, TrueType fonts take a large portion of available device memory, considering the small memory sizes of mobile devices. Therefore, it is required to reduce the size of TrueType fonts. In this paper, two-phase compression techniques are presented for the purpose of reducing the size of hangul bitmap data embedded in TrueType fonts. In the first step, each character in bitmap is divided into initial consonant, medial vowel, and final consonant, respectively, then the character is recomposed into the composite bitmap. In the second phase, if any two consonants or vowels are determined to be the same, one of them is removed. The TrueType embedded bitmaps in Hangeul Wanseong (pre-composed) and Hangul Johab (pre-combined) are used in compression. By using our compression techniques, the compression rates of embedded bitmap data for TrueType fonts can be reduced around 35% in Wanseong font, and 7% in Johab font. Consequently, the compression rate of total TrueType Wanseong font is about 9.26%.

마찰을 고려한 플라스틱 시트의 절단특성에 관한 연구

The press cutter is productive equipment that practically manufactures materials such as fabrics, papers, films, leathers, rubbers etc. into the desired shapes using cutting method. Plate cutting process is one of the primary energy absorbing mechanisms in a grounding or collision event. The cutting mechanism is complicated and involves plastic flow of plate in the vicinity of the tip, friction between wedge and plate, deformation of plate. In this paper, we studied the effect of friction between cutter and plastic sheet for producing precise and superior products. The press cutter is analyzed numerically using MARC finite element program according to the variation of friction coefficients. The FEM results showed that normal stress, equivalent cauchy stress, normal total strain, equivalent total strain are good when friction coefficient is 0.0 and shear stress, shear total strain are good when friction coefficient is 0.8.

유비쿼터스 기반 웹 서비스를 위한 uWDL 설계

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 발생되는 웹 서비스들의 컨텍스트와 웹 서비스간의 연관 관계를 워크플로우(workflow) 형태로 기술하기 위한 XML 기반 언어인 uWDL (Ubiquitous Workflow Definition Language)을 소개한다. uWDL은 유비쿼터스 환경에서 이종(heterogeneous)형태로 존재하는 서비스 요소(element)들을 워크프로우 방식으로 표현할 수 있다. 또한, uWDL은 유비쿼터스 환경의 웹 서비스를 수행하는 워크플로우 시나리오가 uWDL 문법에 맞게 작성될 수 있도록 uWDL용 DTD를 설계하였고, uWDL 문서의 유효성(validation) 검사를 위한 uWDL 파서를 설계하였다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서 발생하는 웹 서비스 개발을 위해, 개발자는 uWDL을 이용하여 유비쿼터스 환경의 사용자 특성을 고려해 그에 맞는 서비스들의 관계를 워크플로우 형태로 쉽게 기술할 수 있고, 응용 프로그램이 요구하는 웹 서비스들 간의 연관 관계를 컨텍스트 기반으로 정확히 기술함으로써 작업을 통합하고 자동화를 이룰 수 있다.

Diehard : 인터넷 서비스를 위한 N - way 고가용성 시스템

인터넷을 이용한 서비스와 산업이 급속도로 발전하면서 인터넷 서비스를 위한 효율적이며 확장성이 있는 고가용성 시스템이 매우 중요한 요소로 인식되고 있다. 인터넷 서비스를 위한 고가용성 시스템은 컴퓨터들이 쉬지 않고 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 active-active 형태로 구성되어야 하며, 확장성을 위해서 N개의 컴퓨터가 연결되어 클러스터를 구성하는 N-way 방식을 지원하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 N 개의 컴퓨터들이 클러스터로 연결된 N-way에서 active-active 형태의 구성을 위한 알고리즘을 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 구현된 고가용성 시스템인 Diehard를 소개한다. Diehard는 인터넷 서비스의 특성을 고려해서 소프트웨어 SPOF를 모니터링하고, 부분적인 서비스 중단에 대한 다양한 복구 정책 등을 지원하도록 설계 및 구현되었다. The high availability system becomes more important as the need for Internet services is rapidly increasing. The services should be provided as an "active-active" manner for continuity and efficiency, and computers, which provide the services, should be connected in a form of "N-way" for scalability. In this paper, we present an algorithm to provide high availability for the N-way and introduce a high-availability system called Diehard. The Diehard provides various functions that monitor software SPOFs including partial service failure, determine the failure levels, and recover the failures.

유비쿼터스 환경을 위한 워크플로우 기반의 시니리오 편집기의 설계 및 구현

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경의 사용자에게 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 시나리오를 웹 서비스 기반의 워크플로우를 이용하려 편집할 수 있는 uFlow 시나리오 편집기를 소개한다. 시나리오 편집기는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 발생하는 컨텍스트와 이를 이용하는 서비스간의 연관 구조적 컨텍스트 모델 기반의 서술 방식으로 표현하는 uWDL(Ubiqiutous Workflow Description Language)을 자동으로 생성하기 위한 도구로서, 해당 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용 가능한 컨텍스트 및 서비스의 검색과 컨텍스트 이스트 정보에 따라 워크플로우의 흐름을 결정하기 위한 컨텍스트 표현 기술을 포함하며, 시나리오 개발자가 손쉽게 유비쿼터스 환경을 위한 시나리오를 uWDL 형태로 작성할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다.

LPG 충전노즐용 소재의 마찰ㆍ마모 특성에 관한 연구

When people inject LPG gas into automobiles, LPG filling units is used. LPG filling units are composed of SUS304 balls and brass bodies. When LPG filling units is fixed into the filler of cars, Friction is occurred at the gap between materials. So filling units are damaged and the life of filling units is decreased. Therefore we need to study friction characteristics of materials. Then by wear testers, we observe how wears actually occurs.
