『장자(莊子)』 우언(寓言)의 신화(神話) 수용(受容)과 중국소설(中國小說)에 미친 영향

The Chinese mythology which is the origin of narrative literature such as prose and novel, has been lost and severed, so that it is very poor. However, this poor mythology could be handed down to the future generations and also have influences on the creation of literature like novel because of the great contribution of 『Zhuangzi's』. The Chinese mythology that used to be abundant in the Yin-Shang Dynasty, was a lot lost and severed by the formation of proses and the process of changing the mythology into history, which was consciously performed by the rulers in the Western Zhou Dynasty. In the Warring States period, however, the spirit to change the mythology into history was broken by disciples such as Zhuangzi's of Taoism, and free discussions of thoughts by many scholars and schools. After that, the mythology barely maintains its existence. Like this, even though 『Zhuangzi's』 played a very important role in connecting the mythology with novels, in the results of examining the existing researches, there have been almost no researches on this part. Therefore, this article intends to explore Zhuangzi’s role as a link between myths and novels.

『한비자(韓非子)』 우언(寓言)의 일부 수사법(修辭法)에 대한 소고(小考)

한비자의 우언이 선진우언의 대표작으로 인정될 수 있었던 것은 다양한 수사법의 사용과 밀접한 영향이 있다.춘추전국시대는 중국 문학사에서 처음으로 수사법이 활발하게 사용된 시대이다. 백가쟁명이라는 사상논쟁에서 우위를 차지하기 위해 제자들은 추상적인 이치를 알기 쉽게 설명할 수 있는 우언을 많이 사용하였다. 또한 문장을 아름답게 꾸미고 내용을 흥미롭게 하여 전달력과 설득력을 향상시키기 위해 제자들은 수사법을 다양하게 사용하였다. 이 중에서 장자와 한비자는 수사법을 비교적 능숙하게 사용한 인물이다. 특히 한비자가 사용한 수사법은 매우 다양하고 기교적이었는데, 이는 한비자의 우언을 풍격이 다양하게 하고 논지가 예리하게 하였다. 또한 문장을 흥미롭고도 아름답게 하였을 뿐만 아니라, 예술성도 풍부하게 하였다. 특히 한비자가 사용한 수사법의 유형은 제자들 중에서도 단연 가장 많았다고 할 수 있다.그러므로 한비자 우언에서 사용한 수사법에 대한 고찰은 『한비자』가 철학서임에도 불구하고 문학에서 높은 성과를 거둘 수 있었던 원인을 이해할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 당시의 수사법 사용현상도 엿볼 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. Han Fei Tzu’s allegory was able to be recognized as a representative work of advanced allegory due to the close influence of the use of diverse rhetoric.It is during the Warring States Period that rhetoric was first used actively in the history of Chinese literature. In order to win the ideology debate in free discussions, the disciples used lots of allegory that can explain abstract logic convincingly. Also, the disciples used rhetoric diversely to enhance the power of delivery and persuasive power by embellishing sentences and making the content interesting. Of those disciples, Han Fei Tzu and Chang-tzu were the ones who used rhetoric relatively skillfully. Particularly, the rhetoric that Han Fei Tzu used was very diverse and artful and this made the dignity and the point of Han Fei Tzu’s allegory diverse and sharp. It also made sentences not only interesting and beautiful but also rich in artistry. Particularly, the type of rhetoric that Han Fei Tzu used can be said to be definitely the most type used among the disciples.Accordingly, a study on the rhetoric that Han Fei Tzu used in allegory has significance in that, despite the fact that Han Fei Tzu is a philosophy book, it enables us not only to understand the reasons that Han Fei Tzu achieved high outcome in literaturebut also to get a sense of the phenomenon of using rhetoric in those days.

창작방식(創作方式)으로 본 『한비자(韓非子)』 우언(寓言)

우언의 창작방식에 대한 연구는 우언창작의 사상적 배경과 우언의 전체 맥락을 장악하는 매우 기초적인 연구이다. 따라서 본고는 『韓非子』와 『左傳』, 『戰國策』 등 전고에 대한 비교적인 분석과 한비자가 창작한 우언에 대한 분석을 통하여 한비자우언의 창작방식을 고찰하는 데 목적을 둔다. 한비자 우언의 창작방식은 대개 典故의 引用, 典故의 改造, 創作 등 세 가지 유형이 있다. 한비자의 우언에서 인용한 전고 중에서 『전국책』과 『좌전』의 고사가 가장 많다. 이러한 인용은 약간의 삭제와 보충이 있다. 『한비자』에서는 다른 전고보다 『좌전』에 대해 개조한 내용이 가장 많다. 『한비자』에서 『좌전』에 대한 개조는 기본적인 줄거리는 계승하면서 내용을 축소, 확대하는 유형과 단지 그 소재만을 이용하고, 이야기 줄거리, 내용에 대해 대폭 개조하는 유형이 있다. 한비자가 창작한 우언에는 허구인물고사, 실존인물고사 등 두 가지 유형이 있다. 한비자는 이러한 유형의 우언을 통하여 문장을 흥미롭게 하여 독자들의 관심을 끌었을 뿐만 아니라, 자신의 법가사상도 알기 쉽게 설명한다. Research on the The way of creative writing of allegory is very important basic research in grasping the philosophical backgrounds and the entire context of creative writing of analogy. Accordingly, the purpose of this research is to examine the The way of creative writing of Han Fei Tzu`s allegory through the comparative analysis of the classics such as Han Fei Tzu, Jwajeon, and Jeongukchaek and the analysis of Han Fei Tzu`s creative writing of allegory. There are roughly three The way of Han Fei Tzu`s creative writing of allegory: quota-tion of the classics, adaptation, and creative writing. Of the classics from which cited in Han Fei Tzu`s allegory is quoted most, Jeonguk-chaek, and Jwajeon are most frequently quoted. These quotations have some deletions and supplements. In Han Fei Tzu, there are more adaptations about Jwajeon than any other classics. The adaptations about Jwajeon in Han Fei Tzu have two types: one is the type in which the basic plot is retained and the contents are reduced or expanded, and the other is the type in which only the subject matter is used and the plot and the contents are reformed drastically. In in Han Fei Tzu`screative writing of allegory, there are two types of stories: fictional character stories and real person stories. Through these types of allegory, Han Fei Tzu not only made his writings interesting and attracted the readers` attention but also explained his thoughts of law in a manner that is easy to understand.
